STM32 MCUs Products

Hello,we have a validated project based on the stm32l072rb (FLASH 128KB) microcontroller and in stop mode the entire system consumes 3.5uA.We have updated to the stm32l072rz (FLASH 192KB) and the stop mode current raised to 23uA. In standby mode both boards consume 3uA.Are there different actions we have to take to enter stop mode between the two uC which differ only in flash size?Thanks for your help,Andrea

I am trying to establsih communication between a NUCLEO G474RE and a NUCLEO H7A3ZI-Q thorugh FDCAN. I have successfully accomplished FDCAN communication for both the boards individually using Normal mode as these boards have multiple FDCAN peripherals. I am using two ADM3050E FDCAN transceivers for communication. Now, I have set the baud rate and clock speed of FDCAN same for both boards, yet I have been unsuccessful. So, I wanted to know what I am doing wrong. Please find atteched zip files containing my projects.

Hi,i was hoping, that the Link-V3 would just work, after i used nucleo boards already. But i was dissapointed. I use the GDB server, and it says:ST-Link enumeration failedError in initializing ST-LINK device.Reason: ST-LINK DLL error.I just checked a Nucleo board, and there is no problem.The installation of the driver worked without errors.

I recently ordered a small batch of 50 PCBAs equipped with STM32L476RET6 microcontrollers from a well-known Chinese manufacturer. I've used their services before without any issues, and I’m sure many of you would have heard of them. However, I've encountered a significant challenge and could really use your collective wisdom. I'm experiencing a troubling 50% failure rate with the STM32 microcontrollers across the boards. While there could be various factors at play, one concern I have is the authenticity of the STM chips. I intend to discuss this matter with the supplier, especially since I'm contemplating another order of the same microcontrollers. Hi all,I am using an stm32wb55 neucleo board for a wearable based project. I am using ADC1-IN1 to read the adc raw value from MCU pin PC0 of wb55 board.  A voltage divider circuit was connected to scale down the BAT voltage from (4.2-3.7) to (1.8-1.585).Vref  = 3.3v.Below are readings i gotBAT         ADC_BATT      read_raw0               0                     1420 ( Expected = 0 )3.7            1.577               2030 ( Expected = 1960 )4.2            1.8                   2120 ( Expected = 2230 ) Is there any way to rectify this?

The word "OSC_IN" is missing from the following sentence:"When the oscillator is configured in a user external clock mode, only the pin is reserved for clock input and the OSC_OUT or OSC32_OUT pin can still be used as normal GPIO."Should say: "...only the OSC_IN pin is reserved..."

Hello, I am using LwIP alongside a STM32F7. I am very new to network programming and I was wonder why the webpage is not updating when I modify the html code. If I visit the page via the IDE, the changes are there but on a live version of the site, nothing is updated. Is there a step I am missing to reflect the changes I make on the website?

Dear all,is it possible to use CMSIS-DSP with STM32F302XXX? Actually I'm working with NUCLEO STM32F302R8Tx (but final board will have STM32F302RCT6) and I have two issues :1) I am not able to find lib *.a in repository CMSIS_DSP 2) Following this guide Guide I get this error ../Drivers/CMSIS/Include/core_cm4.h:105:8: error: #error "Compiler generates FPU instructions for a device without an FPU (check __FPU_PRESENT)" Is there some hardware limitation?Or am I missing some step? Thank you

Hello,I'm encountering an issue where the printf function is providing an incorrect output for float or double values. The simplified code snippet causing this problem is as follows:float f = 0.33; printf("d:%4.2f;\r\n", f);Upon analyzing the output using a logic analyzer, I initially observe the two bytes \xF0 \x87 followed by "0.33;\r\n", indicating that the "d:" prefix is not matching as expected.I'm using a STM32L432KCU microcontroller with STM32CubeIDE version 1.14.0. The option to utilize floats with printf is enabled in the settings.Would appreciate any insights or suggestions to resolve this issue.Kind RegardsLutz 

I want to use a bidirectional current sense such as ina181 and read the values into stm32g0 Mcu.This does not need to be super accurate (max current is +/- 500mA and just want an idea of if approaching that) but I am struggling to find a canonical circuit that makes best use of the available features of the vrefbuf and is not adding a lot of expense and complexity with external reference when just a ballpark number is needed.it seems like using the Mcu vref+ to bias the zero on the current sense would be the best and cheapest option.is this as simple as resistor dividing  the 2.5v vref pin down to 1.65 (for 3.3v supply and symmetrical +- current) and connecting it  to vref on the current sense amplifier? also I notice a lot of designs  connect vref to vdd so I assume this should not be done if using internal ref. But if I decide not to use the internal vref in the future will it be a problem that it has the divider resistance to  ground connected ?Thankstom&nbs

Hi the community,I tried to use a STM32L552 to create file in a USB key with FatFS but without success.I already create and write file in SD card with FatFS but my aim (after a USB key) is to do it on an external hard drive (so througth USB, the capacity storage of SD cards are too small).Contrary to SD Card, I have to use user-defined and USB Device library.My problem is that my f_open return me FR_NOT_READY, and it is impossible to found an exemple. I tried to use this library ->STM32Cube_FW_L5_V1.3.0\Projects\STM32L562E-DK\Applications\USB_Device\MSC_Standalone\readme.txt but I have the same problem.Has anyone ever managed to do that?Thanks!

Hello I am trying to do spi_dma communication using the HAL_SPI_TransmitReceive_DMA function.When I use HAL_SPI_TransmitReceive_DMA in a situation where I use the same dma stream, same amount of data to send and receive, but different addresses to send and receive,Is there any part of the code in the HAL_SPI_TransmitReceive_DMA function that only needs to be set once?If so, is it possible to separate the actual behavior code of the HAL_SPI_TransmitReceive_DMA function and the code that only needs to be set once from HAL_SPI_TransmitReceive_DMA to execute HAL_SPI_TransmitReceive_DMA?  

Hello I looking to do Classic CAN communication (Not FD) Between NUCLEO-H7A3ZI-Q and  NUCLEO-F429ZI  in normal mode. I am using MCP2551 transceiver on both boards. I added termination resistors on both side  But i didn't Receive the message. My configurations are: In NUCLEO-H7A3ZI-Q : In NUCLEO-F429ZI : Can you please check if there are any configuration issues?   

Hi everybody.I ran into a problem with my project.As you can see in the picture, after uploading the program to uP, the content of Flash is different from the uploaded Intel hex file.Can someone explain to me why?Where did the data F8 B5 00 BF F8 BC 08 8C 9E 46 70 47 go?And instead of them in Flash is FF FF FF FF.The program was uploaded via STM32CubeProgrammer.

Hi all,I used long time STM32F103 and there was the possibilty to release the CAN Fifo by writing CAN_RF0R, resp. CAN_RF1R register. For G474 I didn't find this possibilty. Has someone any idea how to release the receive buffer or is the only option to check if something is in and read out?

HiI have been using stm32u585QII3 MCU in our custom board. I am using USART1(PB6, PG10) to transmit and receive data. In interrupt mode transmit call back is working but receive call back was not working. Initially i have set a break point, the interrupt hits one time in debug mode, then when i try to send data, the interrupt is not hitting. I have tried this in polling method too, and it was not working. I have attached scope images of both  transmit and receive.
