STM32 MCUs Products

I start a new project using STM32CubeIDE Version: 1.14.1 and select STM32L052K6T6.All I change is the MSI_RC clock setting to be 65.536kHz.  This causes all the other clocks to change to this same freq.I program the device and step through - execution freezes in SystemClock_Config.I believe the problem is related to the system tick timer.  I note that in the NVIV config code generation tab that the "Call HAL Handler: option is ticked by default.  If I untick this, then SystemClock_Config executes.I think all the handler does is to increment the tick:void SysTick_Handler(void){HAL_IncTick();}Maybe the core frequency is too low to execute the tick handler?Do I need the system tick at all?  I think the HAL_ADC_DeInit uses it.Can I slow the tick down to some slow value so it doesn't overwhelm the processor?Am I even asking the right question?

Sorry if this is a rookie question. I have set up USART 2 to receive a UART command. If the sent command is "<EN>", I need to toggle the value of a global state variable. When transmitting the received data via the callback interrupt, I have no issues, so I know that UART is receiving the data no problem. I am trying to implement MODBUS protocol. STM32 receives an initial message of 8 bytes and then send a response of 8 bytes. Hi,I need to create a USB composite device class interface with STM32U5A5 controller. I have been using the USB_CDC_ACM example project so far for my development. In this example the USB CDC ACM class is configured and I need to change/add this to a custom vendor specific class so that the host PC doesn't bind its native driver by default. That's my use case. So I can bind the custom class driver from host side. My requirement is to create one interface with the support of HID class and other one as vendor specific class. In vendor specific class I need to add bulk endpoints for IN and OUT like that of the current ACM class. I have tried to understand the USBD_FrameWork_AddToConfDesc function to add the new class but quite confused of the USBx layer. Is there any base example project for this requirement? Or could anyone help with the changes required to add a custom class to the ACM example project.  Thanks

Hello, Does the STM32H755ZIT support flashing over CAN? The application note AN2606 suggests that the H75x series does support bootloader access on the FDCAN1 interface, but specifies pins PH13 and PH14, which are not available on the LQFP144 package of the -H755ZIT.

Hello everyone,I work on a demonstration product using a NUCLEO H743ZI2 board has a main board. I use two timer (TIM3 and TIM2) in encoder mode to measure the speed of two motors with precision.But I didn't manage to get the theoretical results on 1 timer.I checked the hardware to find a possible problem.3 of the 4 GPIOs have no problems but on PA0 I found a sine signal with an amplitude of 3.3V and a frequency of 50MHz (the motors are not connected and the measurement is made directly on the GPIO).So I tried to erase the software to see if it was a configuration problem but the problem persists on the microcontroller.I don't understand where this signal can come from on the PA0 gpio.I tried measuring PA0 on a new board with no software but I still found this signal at 50MHz, it is simply not at 3.3V but at 100mV.Can you help me solve the problem please, is the gpio out of service, is the internal SRAM clock mapped on PA0?

Hello,I'm currently working on a project where my STM32G747RE is acting as an SPI Slave.The SPI transmission is as follow:Master sends 8 bits "command"Slave send back 16 bits "data"My issue is the following; On the MISO line, the STM32 always send back the first 8 bits of data on the first 8 clock cycle of the next SPI transmission. The picture will clarify my words:Here the following SPI transmission happends:Master sends on MOSI the command 8 (then the other 16 bits are 0xFFFF which is good)Slave sends on MISO the data 253 15 (and then on the first byte of the transmission it also sends 15)The issue here is that on the MOSI we have 15 that is the data of the previous transmission.From where can this come from and is there a way to put the SPI buffer (FIFO) high: 0xFF by default ?Thanks for your support,Here's the code of my SPI section (there is also a Master SPI but that is for another application which works fine):/* Includes --------------------------------------------------------

Hi allI am using 4 sensors on my project. These are comminicated with stm32f4 board via I2C. However there ara 3 I2C channel on stm32f4 board. Is it possible to connect them to same channel via  ı2c multiplexer ? As ı researched, the multiplexer is used with the same sensors. The multiplexer i mentionoed is TCA9548A. 

Dear Mr. or Ms.When I tried to clear IT flag of USART_ISR_RXNE_RXFNE, I can't find any fuction to do it.In stm32g4xxx_ll_usart.h, I can find fuction named LL_USART_IsActiveFlag_RXNE_RXFNE() but there's no function like LL_USART_ClearFlag_RXNE_RXFNE() .Do I need to clear corresponding IT flag ? Hello everyone,I've been looking for some time for an example of an electronic design that would allow me to use the STLINK-V3MINIE in JTAG mode.With my electronic schematic I can use it in SWD mode, which works very well.However, it's impossible to use JTAG mode, because when I configure the debugger in STM32CubeIDE and start debugging I get:"Error in initializing ST-LINK device. Reason: Unknown MCU found on target."I wonder if my electronic diagram is correct, even if I refer to the AN5474 documentation on page 26.Could someone either correct my circuit diagram or explain how to make the JTAG work?Thank you in advance.RegardsPS: I Use an STM32F722RE MCU

Hello,We are using a hardware with STM32H745 controller with FreeRTOS.Can you please suggest a good PC Emulator which can be used to emulate above controller with FreeRTOS.Also we use UART, SPI, LED, CAN peripherals on the actual hardware. Hello,I'm trying to read some data using the RX mode of the SPI emulator explained in AN4678 but I have a weird bug that I don't know how to fix.To quickly explain how it works, the SPI emulator uses TIM1 pin to generate a clock and a GPIO pin to behave like a MISO pin. In my case, the STM32 chip is configured as the master (Master Emulation, Slave HW). Using DMA Peripheral to Memory, data is read from the GPIO and stored in a variable at each clock edge of the TIM1 pin. The emulator uses flags to indicate when the transmission is complete.When I try to read data just once, the data retrieval works fine and the good amount of rising edges are sent. But when I want to use the function several times, it seems that the reading process is not finishing properly and the CLK pin is not sending the right amount of rising edges. I don't know if completely resetting the timer and GPIO clocks might work, because if i "restart" the whole driver from zero it should work like the first time ? I tri

I try to control position of servo with potentiometer. How to open the STSW-IO-LINK evaluation firmware in the STM32CubeMX development platform? STSW-IO-Link is downloaded and extracted. The *.ioc file seems to be missing in the STSW-IO-LINK firmware package!

Hello,I am reading AN2606 and I am wondering if I am interpreting the document correctly. Is table 113 suggesting that the FDCAN bootloader is only available on pins PH13 & PH14 in the STM32H75 series? Since these pins do not exist on the 100 pin packages of the part, is it not possible to use the FDCAN bootloader on 100 pin packages?Thanks.

Hi Team,I am currently working with the STM32G0B1CET6 microcontroller and using two Abracon crystal parts, ABL-8.000MHZ-B2 and AB38T-32.768KHZ-B. Question seems simple enough, but i cant find any information on this in the datasheet or refman:When i put the mcu in stop-mode using the hal driver, i call this function:HAL_PWR_EnterSTOPMode(PWR_MAINREGULATOR_ON, PWR_STOPENTRY_WFI);The first parameter of this function can be either PWR_MAINREGULATOR_ON or PWR_LOWPOWERREGULATOR_ON.The function seems to set the LPDS bit in PWR_CR register based on that parameter. According to the reference manual, this means:0: Voltage regulator on during Stop mode.1: Low-power Voltage regulator on during Stop mode.That is not enough information to decide what i should go with for my application."Low-power Voltage regulator" implies that the MCU consumes less power in this mode. How much less? And what is the down-side of using the Low-power Voltage regulator?

When booting up STM32Cube for the first time I get the error "A 'stm32Cube Updater' (or another 'STM32CubeMX') software is downloading to the repository folder Please wait for the download to complete and retry" However, no software is open/ downloading anything and I have waited 30 minutes. When trying to open up the MCU selector it is stuck loading on most buttons as well.
