Hi , have somebody link to exe or online or linux utility with same result as HAL CRC calculate? 

good morning   i was trying for sometime now to configure stm32 timer as a counter to count the pulses in order to count the RPM of a rolling gear and then show it on a lcd screen, and no matter what i do or change in the code or the timer configuration, the number of pulses is always stuck at 0. can anyone please help me with it? i really need it for my studies. (by the way, i am using a proteus simulation to test it).

I am working with the above device. I have created an .IOC file and auto-generated code. I can see the GPIO configuration for the simple I/O, but I do not see any pin configuration for the ADC inputs that I have selected. I assume that I will have to add these to the MX_ADC_Init module.I have attached the .IOC file that I have created.

Has anyone ever had success getting the CS42L52 audio CODEC to work on the MCBSTM32F400 board? It is suspicious that there are no working code examples for the CODEC and it is also left out of the board's BSP support package. I have taken the time to port an MP3 player example that was written for the ST Discovery F4 board to the MCBSTM32F400 board but it does not work well. I believe I have made all the necessary changes and the firmware appears to be doing what it is supposed to do, but the audio output from the board is very distorted. From a power up the audio output starts out fine but then it degrades over a period of several seconds to be very distorted. If you just reset the board while it is powered on the sound also starts out okay but degrades even quicker. That fact that these two scenarios produce different results suggests some kind of power/stability issue. Hi all,I have a project with a SMT32L431. Right now it is running on the nucleo-64 demo board (its a STM32L4 33RCT6P) so nothing is connected to the board.The project will use all UART and LPUART modules, the SPI1, the I2C2 and the CAN1 module. I have setup the clock at 2MHz using the MSI clock. When starting the module and configuring the clock, deactivating the TIM1 and setting in low power run mode, the consumption drops to 140uA. This is my starting point.Setting the GPIO, I get 170uA. However, if the PC11 is set as an input I get to 300uA!! There is another pin that I had to set as an output to get low consumption. Why? Floating pin problem?Setting the DMA1, I get 175uASetting the CAN module, I get 315uA. According to the documentation CAN should consume only 8uA why?LPUART1 sky rockets this to 525uA while datasheet says 7uAUART1 gets me to 700uAUART2 gets me to 720uA (only +20uA while the uart1 is 175uA)!!!UART3 gets me to 740uASPI 880uAI2C 970uALPTIM1 with 1s interrupts 980uAFor

Hi @mƎALLEm,I need to develop a unique serial number for one of our products that will go into production soon. I'd rather use the UID that is built into the STM32H7A3 chip but I have some questions.I understand that it is a 96bit value that I can read from the chip but I'd rather not have to use such a long and unwieldy number.I looked at page 2920 of the manual RM4055 but it doesn't really tell me which byte is for which variable (Lot, Wafer, Die, etc).This number will need to fit onto our 7" display as well as the serial number label on the product's back side.Has anyone else been able to figure out the UID format?Thanks,Richard

Hi,I'm currently gaining experience with the STM32G4, whose ROM bootloader supports various interfaces. AN2606 describes the configuration of the pins occupied by the interfaces.Various pins are operated in push-pull mode, which can lead to undesirable effects in an external circuit.My question is whether it is possible to deactivate unneeded interfaces in the bootloader, e.g. via option bytes, or whether this can only be achieved with a separate bootloader.Thanks in advance for your feedback!

Hello everyone,I'm currently working with the "STM32G0B1RE" and facing an issue where my system automatically resets. The problem occurs sporadically, sometimes after a week and other times within 2 or 3 hours. Upon investigating, I found that the last reset cause is due to a watchdog timeout. Unfortunately, connecting a debugger is not feasible. Is there a method to store information about which instruction or address triggers the watchdog timeout?   Thanks & Regards,Raj Asthana.

I am trying to use tickless idle mode. But for some reason I cant go into sleepmode, the mcu instantly comes out of it.   Before I implemented tickless idle mode in my main application. I disabled all interrupts but still for some reason I could not stay into SleepMode and immediately get out of it. So then I tried example project (Freertos lowpower) from ST on NUCLEOL496ZG board and there also same behavior.    If anyone have any ideas, please mention here. 

We are trying to add built-in self-test capability to a program we are developing.Specifically, we would like to periodically check ROM and RAM. Are there any sample programs for those? [MCU] STM32F412VGT6

I'm using an ST-Link broken off from a NUCLEO board to program a custom board with an STM32G4A1 on it. The issue is that UART transmission only seems to work while the ST-Link is connected - probing the line with a scope shows no activity when the ST-link is disconnected from the board. This is especially confusing since the LED blinks in the while loop are still working, indicating that the program is actually running.I've used this ST-Link with several custom boards at this point, and never had an issue like this. Any idea as to what might be causing this? The UART is in single wire half duplex mode, in case that matters.

Hello everyoneI've hit a bit of a snag with my PCB redesign (V2) featuring an STM32F429ZIT6. While the initial version (V1) worked like a charm, some layout changes and component swaps (SN74ABT16245ADL to two SN74HCT245DWR) in V2 are causing issues with programming via DFU and USB communication.Here's a quick rundown of my troubleshooting so far:JTAG/SWD Programming: Successful via STCubeProgramer Stlink, so no problems there.PCB Assembly: Hand-soldered all PCBs, and continuity tests for USB lines and power tracks look solid.DFU Programming: Jumper on BOOT0 enabled, but no luck with DFU. Hi,I need to service an external watchdog when a flash sector is being erased. The sector being erased is in the same flash bank where code is executed from. Before I try to jump and run from RAM I had a few questions.Where is flash stall discussed in the reference manual?Given the chip architecture, is there any issue with toggling a pin on Port G when a sector erase is ongoing? In other words, is the AXI bus matrix stalled during a flash erase?Thanks! 

Hello,i have problem with custom board assembled with STM32F767BIT6. I'm trying to interfacing LCD-TFT DEM 800480K3 TMH-PW-N which is assembled by HX8264E, HX8664B drivers. I'm using RGB888 interface configured via STMCubeIDE filled by resolution 800x480 with 1 layer and small buffer 320x240 located in internal SRAM on address 0x2003FFFF(i have 8MB external SDRAM but i'm trying to use small buffer in SRAM for workaround first), inverted DE polarity, clock for LTDC is 32MHz. But LCD still doesn't work. So i connected oscilloscope and i see correct 32MHz pixel clock, i see correct HSYNC but VSYNC is always low and DE sometimes sent some chaotic pulses or rest arround 1,7V. I checked connection on HW and it looks fine.(When i try full resolution 800x480 for layer i've got transfer data error and fifo underrun error. When i tried external SDRAM which is probably badly configured im not unable to reflash STM because STLink is not able to find my STM32, then i have to full erase chip via STM

Hi,I want to update multiple HRTIM registers with a single DMA request on a STM32G474RE. To do this, I am trying to follow this simple Getting started with HRTIM tutorial, which has a section "#To_go_further_about_DMA_burst" on the board "B-G474E-DPOW1".At the end of the tutorial we should see the CMP1xR updated with the value we set in Reg_Update after executing the HAL_HRTIM_BurstDMATransfer call in the debugger, but the register is not updated.I followed the tutorial exactly, using CubeIDE to configure and generate code.My analysis:Going deeper into the function calls, I can see that the CPAR and CMAR registers are set correctly: CPAR contains the address of BDMADR (0x400177f0) and CMAR contains the address of Reg_Update (0x20000000). Then DMA is enabled and every statuses returned by HAL_DMA_Start_IT and HAL_HRTIM_BurstDMATransfer are HAL_OK. Hi, I would like to know method and sample code storing data without erasing whole memory page. I do refer example FLASH_EraseProgram, but i have wrote program that almost finish up the flash memory, if i erase a page, a 2KB page, it will erase my code map, and cause the program hardfault, the MCU i use is STM32C0 with 16KB flash. So, may i have some info to solve it? Thanks.

Hi guys,I could set MCU into bootloader mode manually by using PH3/Boot0, but I can't get trigger bootloader via SW... I did check previous posts, but somehow it does not help.HW setup: I have dev board with STM32L431. HiI would like to debug STM32F303RDT6 using a combination of Keil and ULINK2.When I start debugging on the target microcontroller (STM32F303RDT6), **Not a genuine ST Device! I'm using very similar code to the BSP audio demo, which works fine if I run it, but when I try and run it on my code base it fails.It doesn't seem to be triggered at a consistent point in the code, just some point after I first start the DMA process.How do I figure this one out?Thanks!Chris

Hello,I'm currently sending AT commands to the Grove LoRa E5 module from Seed Studio, when I send commands like "AT," there is no response from the module. I've connected the module to the USART of the STM32L476RG board. If anyone has encountered and resolved a similar issue, i'd greatly appreciate your help. Best Regards.    

AN4073 states that ADCxDC2 can be used only if ADC frequency is at least 30 MHz. I used it by mistake with ADC frequency 22.5 MHz. It seemed like it improved the precision by about 5 LSBs. The software worked just fine: no crashes, no funny misbehaving. AN4073 does not refer STM32F446 as applicable MCU. STM32F446 reference points to AN4073 as relevant. Therefore there is conflict between these two documents. That leads me to think that the 30 MHz limit may be a mistake as well. Or was I very lucky? It would be fine to have a better explanation what ADCxDC2 exactly means so that I can have some clue about 30 MHz limit. AN4073 states only this: "it masks the internal flash noise during the last ADC sampling cycle". Which is rather vague. Any ideas?

The MCU used is STM32F103VET6. I want to use TIM3_CH1 (generating a PWM signal of 10kHz, 30% duty cycle) as the master input of TIM4_CH1. Trying to configure my project to use USART2. When I opened "System Core" and "Connectivity", I see that a bunch of options are disabled or have warning signs. I haven't been able to find out why or how to change them, and this isn't an issue I have run into before... so any help would be greatly appreciated!
