Hello,I got a problem with HAL library 10.4 for STM32L152RE in UART DMA transmission, the data is transmited only one time using the function HAL_UART_Transmit_DMA(&huart3,t_Buffer ,11) using uart3,  after that the UART3 structure keep the "flag" huart3.gState to HAL_UART_STATE_BUSY and all the other transmissions failedit never come back to the  HAL_UART_STATE_READY so it is impossible to make another transmission. I solve the problem by changing this flag state back to "ready" when transmission is done  using indirectly the (callback) transmission interrupt provided in  DMA1_Channel2_IRQHandler but it is not really a solution !! it should be OK once the data has been transmitted properly by HAL_UART_Transmit_DMA. is it a bug in 10.4 HAL STM32L1 release ( maybe previous ones too ) or this behavior is normal and I need to use that "manual solution" ? thanks Thierry 

Hi!I'm having trouble connecting to an STLINK ISOL via STM32CubeProgrammer. The STLINK is authentic, I purchased it from digikey. The programmer is detected under Device Manager. Following the article Security:How to start with STM32CubeMX Secure Manager on STM32H57 - stm32mcu I'm stuck in the step 3.2 Boot Path Configuration. At this point, STM32CubeMX had grayed out the button "Select" in Boot Path Selection. It is released only when I configure Secure Mode in Project Manager. When clicking it and trying do configure a Boot Path, I can't get the final configuration ST_iROT_UROT_SECURE_MANAGER. Am I doing something wrong?I'm trying to use STM32CubeMX to generate a project with TrustZone activated. How could I include in a project the Middlewares MbedTLS and MCUBoot? Normally it should be in the "Middleware and Software Packs" list of packs installed but I have to copy them manually. When generating code sometimes I have to copy again because they are deleted.Thank you in advance.

Follow-on from CubeMX code generation from command line.I am posting again in hopes of getting meaningful answer.I tried creating a simple script text file to automate code generation for my project. The script file has all of three lines:config load DCC_tester.iocgenerate code .exitThe feedback I got on why it did not work was my .ico file was corrupted. To prove this was not the case I used a very simple project file using one of your example projects from one of your released STM32H5 bundles.The only modification I made was changing the name and making it a cmake project.I am running on Windows 11 with CubeMX installed using all defaults.I can click on the .ioc file from Windows Explorer and the MX IDE opens just fine. I can click the "GENERATE CODE" button and that also works just fine. All the files are generated as expected.I try launching using the -q using ether a PowerShell script or a command line batch file and neither completes although it looks like its trying.

Like this one: I have configured the ADC with the Temperature Channel and Vref int channel to be used with DMA. However in many examples they show how to configure the rank for the DMA but the rank option is missing within my CubeMX:   Is this a bug or I'm missing something?

generated a new cubeIDE project with cubeMX, for my U585I-IOT02A board, the only things I changed are PC1 pin to high level and toolchain/ide to cubeIDE.building gives me this error : /opt/stm32cubeide/plugins/com.st.stm32cube.ide.mcu.externaltools.gnu-tools-for-stm32.13.3.rel1.linux64_1.0.100.202509120712/tools/bin/../lib/gcc/arm-none-eabi/13.3.1/../../../../arm-none-eabi/bin/ld: read in flex scanner failed no matter what I do or find on internet, I can't get it fixed... I'm on arch linux and installed all stm32 softwares with aur and zip downloaded on the st site if needed.

Sir, I have installed stm32cubeide 2.0.0 which is latest version. I opened cube mx and created a new project and selected new x cube ai package and generated the code, works fine and done successfully.after that i press exit the project, then i open the project but the x cube ai package is not selected in cube mx, and even i saved also why? please help me @Nalle @LMSTM @Balabala 

Hello,Has the integrated support for CubeMX been removed in the new CubeIDE?I just updated to the latest (2.0) and now, when clicking on the ioc file of a project (created with previous version 1.19), CubeMX opens up.The top right corner has also changed.Also all the new project dialogs have changed, and it does not generate an ioc file anymore... Did my update went wrong somehow?

CubeIDE 2.0.0 (and before as well) for MacMacOS 15.7.2 IntelRun your program in debug, forget that the processor isn't stopped, click on the SFR pane, click on any value.BOOM, spinning ball, never returns, have to force quit. Next, it leaves ST-LINK_gdbserver running and unattached, you'll have to find that and kill it or you can't restart and expect to debug again.I haven't seen a program that I had to kill and restart this often since NewtonScript on Windows 95. Grrrrr  

The code completion provided by clangd automatically introduces the header file corresponding to the functionThis is a very bad thing !A configuration item needs to be added to the setting.json to disable automatic header file insertion  

In the STM32CubeMX configuration interface, there are two identical options here.They can be configured into different options.After generating the code, it will be based on the configuration of the second option.  

Title edited to correct version number.I have not programmed in the IDE for a while.  But when I created a project, and edited the .ioc file, and told it to save and create the main.c file it did, and opened the main.c file. I am able to create a project, and it lets me go to the MX editor (I am in 1.9.0). I enable a couple of UARTS, Then I save. And it asks if I want to generate code, I say yes. And there is no code at all. There are only two files in the EPS_PDU_STM32L433RCT3 project directory the EPS_PDU_STM32L433RCT3.ioc.projectNone of the subdirectories were created, the main.c was not created. This used to work. I must have fat fingered something to screw it up. Hello All,I am trying to get back into Microcontroller programming by attempting to use the STM32F407 Discovery Kit. But my first difficulties are to get the STM32CubeIDE installed and configured properly and to work. I have downloaded and installed the Windows version of the STM32CubeIDE 2.0.0; and I am running Windows 11; but when creating my first project and selecting the STM32F407 Disc1, the STM32CubeIDE is not displaying the configurable Pinout of the STM32F407 that I am expecting to see as shown in the most Tutorial videos I have seen so far.  Please, help on  how I can configure the STM32CubeIDE correctly in order to program the STM32F407 Discovery Board I am trying to work with.Kindest regardsStarting_Point

I recently switched to Mac Tahoe 26.1 and it seems since then stm32CubeMX 6.15 is not listing the contents of my Documents folder anymore. It doesn't seem like a rights management issue sincethere were no changes to the Documents rightsthey are identical to sibling folders which CubeMX would properly enumerateAnd yes, the folder does have contents and is not empty as shown in the screenshot from the file open dialog attached.Anyone experiencing similar issues? i've just installed all necessary requirements for the STM32 vscode extension however it doesn't seem to launch cube mx or mcu finder when i click launch from vscode. not sure if its incorrect paths or permission issues?please see the screenshot for the path settings

Hi;I am trying to dial in a PID controller, and my values are small (0-1 range). The Chart widget seems to want to always set its Y axis bounds to [-10, 10], which makes it hard for me to see what's going on in realtime. I have to make an adjustment, then pause the acquisition to scroll way in to see what happened. Is there a way for me to manually specify the Y axis scale and have it stay persistent?

Hello everyone, I'm creating a TIM3-based project using CubeMX. I'm using the Nucleo-H755ZI development board, which features the STM32H755ZITx dual-core MCU.I've completed all the necessary configurations—GPIO settings, TIM settings, SYS, and PROJECT settings. However, when I click "Generate Code," it creates the main.c file but does not generate the xxx_FLASH.ld linker script file. My selected Toolchain is STM32CubeIDE. I'm using CubeMX version 6.15 and CubeIDE version 1.19.Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this issue?
