STM32 MCUs TouchGFX and GUI

Hi, I've created a project with cubemx, copying the configuration generated with touchgfx designer for this board with the only change being that I wish to use threadx instead of FreeRTOS.  I'm able to compile and flash to the board and after hours of debugging I can't seem to find what the issue might be, everything seems to be working fine but all I get is a blank screen.  I've updated the linker script to use external ram (just as it is when generating the project via touchgfx designer) and when debugging I can step through the boot and application program no issue, no errors or faults.  Has anyone run into this before and got out of it?  I tried just about everything that I can think of at this point.  Additional info:-Stm32CubeIDE Version: 1.18.1-Stm32CubeMX Version: 6.14.1-Touchgfx Designer Version: 4.25.0-Threadx version: 6.4.0-Touchgfx generator version: 4.25.0Thank you.

Hi,I recently started working on a custom board using the STM32U5G9ZJT6Q microcontroller. I'm planning on using TouchGFX with LTDC, DMA2D and GPU2D to implement a graphical user interface and AzureRTOS as rtos.I am encountering a problem when, in the main function, the microcontroller hard faults during the MX_TouchGFX_PreOSInit function, in particular at the FrontendHeap& heap = FrontendHeap::getInstance() call.I am using STM32CubeIde 1.19.0 with STM32CubeMX 6.15.0 and TouchGFX 4.25.0. I also tried with TouchGFX 4.24.2 with no luck unfortunately.Here are the screenshots of the hard fault info, stacktrace, and disassembly as shown by STM32CubeIde:

I am using stm32 303e eval , i want to display an image on the in built lcd mounted on the mcu . i am using touchgfx,cubemx and IAR workbench. In touch gfx this mcu does not appear so i started with cubemx with initial peripherals then i go to touch gfx and then to IAR workbench my code is running but nothing appears on the lcd.psi am using stm32 303e eval mcu with touchgfx,cubemx,IAR workbench. since this board is not available on touch gfx i started my project with cube mx selected this board then went to touch gfx.During debugging it is not stepping into if statement provided in gpio pin configuration lcd pin is low i am using non rtos path and nothing is appearing on the screen but there is no error in the code

Hi all,Please help to point me where I did a wrong.  I have different widget on the main screen, and when I switched back and forth, the main screen (where there are most widgets implemented) intermittently not display all the widgets.  Sometime I got text box not display, sometime I got the toggle button not display but just show the rectangular box showing the button box.  For example, in this picture, the whole square box (this is the area for the toggle button) dis empty showing the gray area.The behaviors seems like the widgets not display are the one toward the end of the widgets list. 

Hi everyone. I have a STM32H745I-Disco board and I am using both TouchGFX and CubeIDE to make a project with the board. So the issue I am encountering is that when I wrote or made some adjustments in the both applications the project seems fine (when i built the project in CubeIDE it gave 0 errors or the simulator in the TouchGFX worked just fine) but when I try to debug to project in to the board using the debugger in the TouchGFX the application shows it debugged just fine but there is nothing showing up on the board afterwards. When I try to debug a blank new created project it shows up on the screen but when I'm trying to debug a project with some images or fdcan codes with it the issue I've just said shows up. I don't know what's the problem.

Hello everyone:I came to a need,that I need to copy part of a dynamic Bitmap to another postion of the same bitmap.I current use a for loop and memcpy func,It works but cost 4ms each run.How can I use touchgfx's blockCopy functions to do this? as DMA2D was already enabled.

Hello All, I am planning to use and provide 8 languages support for my Touchgfx project, have anyone used it this way ? I am using STM32H7 series microcontroller for it. I am worried about the memory, Could you please let me know what things to consider and how much memory do I require to support for 8 languages in touchgfx ? Hi,i want to make a oscilloscope to show two data curve.I found the dynamicgraph can add many lines with different color.BUT i can only use the "addDataPoint" fuction to add one data at one time.So I set the two lines the different LineWidth.Just like this.These two lines show the same data,becuse the addDataPoint function can just input one variate.

hello , T。T     I’m developing a GUI using TouchGFX on the STM32F469I-DISCO board.In the handleTickEvent() function, I add 5 points to a dynamic data graph each time it is called. However, when doing this, the frequency of handleTickEvent() drops significantly, and the display performance becomes very poor.In comparison, an older project based on the demo uses MIPI DSI in command mode and configures LTDC as 480×200×4, and it performs noticeably better than my current setup where LTDC is configured as 480×800 and DSI is set to video mode.The scan is 480 * 800 .

Hi,I'm using a ScrollWheel as counter for a slicer.The scrollwheel has 5 item with 3 drawable in customcontainers with textarea.It has 2 member values, the actual value and the set value. I overrided the UpdateItem callback to dinamically update the scrollwheel drawable for visualization as well as wheelAnimationEnd to update the current value during animation.I have declared a function that set the new value to display in the counter and fires the animation to.When called, it starts the animation transition rolling on all the number between the one it has at the beginning to the one used in the call.The scroolwheel in always centered at position 2.The code dinamically updates the wheel to have always the correct value displayed.It works fine upcounting, not in downcounting.When downcounting it stop always one before the desidered.The internal value correctly reaches the set value in both directio

Hello,I’m running a TouchGFX application on LTDC Layer 2 with pixel format ARGB8888.Underneath it, on LTDC Layer 1, I have a simple colored rectangle as a background.I have configured the LTDC blending factors for per-pixel alpha, and the blending works — for example, when I set Layer 2’s constant alpha to zero, I can see Layer 1 correctly.However, even when using images with transparent areas in TouchGFX, the “transparent” parts appear as solid black on the screen and completely block Layer 1. It seems that TouchGFX is filling those pixels with an opaque color (alpha 255) instead of leaving them transparent (alpha 0).What I expect is that transparent parts of the UI would allow Layer 1 to show through, but instead they are rendered as black.Is this the expected behavior for TouchGFX? If so, is there a supported way to make untouched areas of the framebuffer remain transparent so that hardware blending between Layer 2 and Layer 1 works as int

Im using stm32h735g-dk and i was thinking to start model based development using simulink in matlab.I already done a cluster prototype using touchgfx and stm32cube idenow i need to shift from cube ide to simulink using same gui is it possible??If its posssible how will i integrate with simulinki have already licenced version and stm embedded packages on simulink and embedded codercan anyone help me with a guidance how to integrate without using cube ide

Hello!I have an STM32F777 with FreeRTOS and TouchGFX. An SPI display is controlled in partial framebuffer mode via SPI4 and DMA. The implementation is the same as in the TouchGFX demo projects with partial framebuffer (NUCLEO_C071RB + GFX01M2). I have also attached my display SPI library.The vSync signal is implemented at 60Hz via a software timer, as the hardware does not provide such a signal.My hardware has an Ethernet port that provides a web server with the LwIP stack. This generates many interrupts during high data traffic, which puts a greater load on the processor.During operation, this leads to a deadlock of TouchGFX after a few minutes. TouchGFX gets stuck in the function “getBlockForTransfer(Rect& rect)” in the line “assert(state[sendingBlock] == DRAWN);” (File: FrameBufferAllocator.hpp).After that, the display is no longer updated.If you need further information, please let me know.

hi, i am trying to attach a Touch Sensor header file  with touchGFX STM32TouchController.cpp file but it's showing error .the Touch_Sensor.h & Touch_Sensor.c file are include project file and further included via path location ( Properties ->General -> path.). 

I am using a scrolllist that contains 6 items, 4 of which are visible. It is a horizontal list and non-circular. I'd like to have a couple of indicator items, one to the left and another to the right of the scrolllist to show whether there are items that are not currently visible. Maybe I'll even make these clickable and then auto-scroll left or right. I don't currently see a way to know what items are in view at the moment and @shark has already asked this here:https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus-touchgfx-and-gui/how-to-get-index-of-first-visible-item-in-a-scrolllist/td-p/213644 scrollList2UpdateItem() doesn't do anything useful here because it just tells you that you need to update something that is shortly going to be visible. 

1.I have TouchGFX Designer 4.24.2 and STM32CubeMX running on Windows 11.  I downloaded the demos and examples via the file menu, also the latest TouchGFX Generator via CubeMX.  I am targetting a NUCLE0 STM32G071 with GFX01M2($AZ2) display, so I selected the demos for that board, and have tried several of them, giving each a project name and pressing Create.  In each case the progress bar goes to 88% then the program closes. If I restart TouchGFX Designer and try to open the project it has created in "TouchGFX Projects" folder, I get the error "Failed to open native freetype library".  If I manage to import the projects (individually) to STM32CubeIDE (1.17.0) they appear to be missing some header files and do not compile. The configured paths (in project properties) appear to be wrong.I also downloaded TouchGFX 4.22.0, thinking it may be a compatibility issue, but it did the same thing. 2.Is it feasible to run To

I am using STM32CubeIDE 1.13.2 in Windows 11 and am trying to install TouchGFX.4.22.0 and its "Graphic Application" for a STM32H727i-DISCO board.The project is newly created and there are 14 errors that I need help fixing.As requested by the IDE, CRC was configured and activated before adding X-CUBE-TOUCHGFX.Here are the errors. I'm trying to create a long vertical menu that can be configured for a different number of items. I have managed to get a working implementation with a single issue.I would like to be able to select which item in the list is shown when the menu is loaded. For example, given a list of 30 items, I would like to go to Item 10 if it were the last item selected previously.What I have tried:Custom container scroll list with a custom container menu item. The scroll list is stored in a scrollable container to provide a scrollbar. For the scroll list to work with a long list, I have made the scroll list container's height long enough to fit 30 items within the designer. We are using TouchGFX for LCD UI design.  It seems that the generated c files for image have reverse-ordered 16-bit data.  We have to revert the image at run-time.  Is there a way to revert the 16-bit order during image converting?
