How can I update STM32CubeIDE from version 1.10.1 to version 1.11.0

The "automatic updates" show me a new version 1.11.0. After starting the process it stops with following error:

Problem Occured.

'Updating Sortware' has encounterd a problem. An error occured while collecting items to be intstalled

The details>> shows a large list of errros like this:

If possible, install a new version keeping the working one. A time saver, overall.

I didn't experienced issues on my side with the same update on Windows.

What happens if you force the Reload of STM32CubeIDE Release repository in above prefs page ?

Hello Julien,

Thanks for the advice, but the update then aborts with the same error message. The subsequent reload of all repositories does not change anything either. I'm at a loss.

If all the reloads worked fine then I don't see other solutions than manually deleting the cache folders

STM32CubeIDE\p2\org.eclipse.equinox.p2.repository\cache

STM32CubeIDE\p2\org.eclipse.equinox.p2.core\cache

STM32CubeIDE has to be stopped for this operation.

You might also have to check that you have well access to the failing plugins through a web browser, just to eliminated the possibility to have any IT softwares preventing access to those URL...

In addition, by curiosity, are you able to download any Cube FW package from Help > Manage embedded software ?

Deleting these two cache folders dosn't help.

No problems accessing and download the suggested .jar file

Downloading for example the STM32Cube MCU Package for STM32F7 Series 1.17.0 also no problems.

Well... it gets even weirder.

Let's eliminate any conflicts between software sites, keep only a check-mark on the 2 sw-center.st.com urls and try again.

If still not working please share your workspace log files (workspace_path/.metadata/*.log) to see if it guides us.
