Migration guide from System Workbench to STM32CubeIDE (UM2579) does not work

I followed the documentation for a project created in System Workbench win64bit-v2.4 and I do not get the popup window after selecting finish button on the importing step. Note the import source is a copy of the original OpenSTM32 System Workbench project folder that I was told to paste into the STMCubeIDE workspace folder in the instructional migration PDF. Instead it opens the new STMCubeIDE environment with no project loaded and does not present me with any popup windows called out in the migration document

Just so I understand it, you click Finish and then nothing happens? And the Project Explorer view is empty? What does the import log say?

Is it the same for any other system workbench project you try to import or just that one?
