STM32CubeIDE Cannot run program "gdb": Launching failed

I'm sure it's something silly and I can't believe I'm the only person who has seen this message but searching this site doesn't yield any clues. Can someone point me to what I am setting up wrong, presumably in the Debug Configuration menu ?

Nope.. Only the message has now changed to not mention gdb. I have an LCD on the project so am just sending debug information.

Reminder on my question. I've been using OpenOCD instead of GDB server because of this issue but it seems like it doesn't support SWV (or at least not through the graphical menu in Debug Configurations

You have to tell us which probe you are using.
