stm32cubeide HAL API support FreeRtos?

Hi, my question is does HAL APIs support FreeRtos or its ST equivalent. Like they are thread safe and so on. I am asking because it would be easier for me not to think of race condition or deadlocks and whole design would be much cleaner.
