STM32CubeIDE: Is it possible to flash without debugging the old STM32VLDiscovery directly from the software? When using the debug or run button I get "Debug not supported".

The latest release added the capability to run without debugging.

I think I already have the latest version. What do I change to run without debugging?

I think this boils down to "is the obsolete ST-Link V1 supported by STM32CubeIDE ?".

The discovery board is at least available in STM32CubeIDE. Is there a way to flash the firmware generated by the CubeIDE in a different software then?
