SWV Debug Config, please help

Hello

I was trying to get SWV trace in STM32 CUBE IDE working but it never works.Originally I thought F303K8 is missing SWO connection so I got a new F411RE board but it sill won't work. Can someone help me please? Many thanks!!

My Board: F411RE @100Mhz

Steps I've done:

  • Config Debug Mode to Trace Async SW in SYS
  • Enable SWV Debug under Debug Configuration (100Mhz/2000khz);
  • Config Trace in Serial Wire Viewer setting (SWV ITM Data Console) (Enable Port 0)
  • Add code in main.c to overwrite _write function.
  • Checked system clock is identical to SWV clock

One question I have is, I've configured SYS Debug mode in cube but seems like there is no related code generated ?
