Hello , i bought one SPC584B-DISP discovery board. And i think there is a Flexray Peripheral mcu on the board because mentioned that on ST's website: SPC584B-DISP - SPC584B-DISP: Discovery kit featuring SPC58 4B Line MCU in eTQFP144 - STMicroelectronics . And there is a flexray transceiver on board but i examine AN5429 document :SPC584B70E5 - 32-bit Power Architecture MCU for Automotive General Purpose Applications - Chorus family - STMicroelectronics and there is no Flexray Peripheral and mentioned as "flexray removed". Hi Team ,We are using PLS debugger for one of our project ST SPC58NG84E7 controller ,compiler GHS Version 202114 and Debugger UDE STK2021 .But we are facing one issue while debugging one function in SetAbsAlarm(1,10,10) In SetAbsAlram while we debugging first argument value instead of 1 it is taking as 8 .We saw disassembly code but first argument instruction is SE_LI R3,0x1 but after executing this instruction R3 value it is loading with 8 instead of 1 .Please find the snap shot attached below line no 876 due to these we are facing incorrect functionality .Kindly provide support .RegardsPraveen

hello guys, I want to config SPI to communicate with TJA1145 .the 4 pins are shown in the picture. but I test the signal by OScilloscope and I found nothing in the four pin which means no meaningful signal. for example the CS pin is always high and no pulse signal in SCK pin.I list majority signals here , could you pls help me to analysis the config and whether I miss something?thanks in advance.

I have the following configuration, but although I include the ones that I consider correct, I still get many errorsThe errors are supposed to be related to the tcp-ip component, but I already included it and I don't understand what is wrong, maybe I am missing another configuration besides paths. I am currently developing a Flexray driver. I cant understand a few point. This message buffer configurable like that : "configure each message buffer by setting the configuration values in the Section 21.5.2.65: Message Buffer Configuration, Control, Status Registers (MBCCSRn), Section 21.5.2.66: Message Buffer Cycle Counter Filter Registers (MBCCFRn), Section 21.5.2.67: Message Buffer Frame ID Registers (MBFIDRn), Section 21.5.2.68: Message Buffer Index Registers (MBIDXRn)" . There is 32 message buffer that i can configure slot number , cycle number. So is there any misunderstand , or i can read/write just 32 slot?

In the schematic of the ethernet configuration it is indicated that 3 components are not assembled: R28, R33 and R120. My question is, should I solder them for it to work?

when i searched datasheet about MPC5646, i found a datasheet of SPC56ECxx, this two mcu have same hardware pin, could they be used as substitution of each other?

I am writing a Flexray driver for SPC56. And I follow steps that mentioned in document. But there is not detail description in that document : SPC56XL70xx 32-bit MCU family built on the embedded Power Architecture® (st.com) . Like protocol initialization 1.c in flexray application information on page 903 : "configure the FR_PCR0,..., FR_PCR30 registers to set all protocol parameters" and there is no information that registers default values and which ones must be configured. Do anyone have detail flexray configuration document or anyone could help me?

Hello everyone,I'm struggling trying to compile an old project without having to regenerate the configuration files, this project was made under the ppc freegcc with vle support V4.9.2 ,I tried to compile using the last actual version(4.9.4) and I'm facing a lot of problems.From what I understood in order to correctly compile we need a PATH that include 3 locations :1-The Make.exe location2-gcc.exe location (Plugins/GCC-plugin-version/toolchain/bin)3-ld.exe location (Plugins/GCC-plugin-version/toolchain/powerpc-eabivle/bin)Thing with using that version is that we will need to update the crt0.s file otherwise we will have linking errors, (I don't know if updating other s file is necessary) Could someone please tell me how can I get the older version ? Could the BAF_BYPASS field in the BAF configuration DCF register by modified by the user.If yes, under which module can I find it? I'm unable to find this in Lauterbach debugger.If no, how can I skip the BAF section during the bootup? - My device has pre-programmed BAF region.Thanks!

hi, I would like to know if it is possible to read mcu SPC56EL60L3 with usb / uart adapter with software SPC5 FLASHER?

I am working with a SPC582B60E1 64 pin Flat pack chip. I am trying to program GPIO11_INT24_PWM16_CAN4SYS1_RX_WKPU pin 53 as a PWM output. But I am not sure if it is even possible. I consulted the SPC5 LLD Drivers for RLA components document for PWM low level driver and in that section of the document has a diagram showing the physical and logical channels. I took a screen shot and attached it for reference. It shows that that of the eMIOSx channels, that channels 8, 16 and 24 do not have PWM Drivers. So does this mean it is not possible to set channels 8, 16 or 24 as a PWM channel? If they can be set to a PWM, could you include a code snippet to set it up? Thanks,Steve Lam

I am doing my bachelors degree and have a task to get two boards communicating using the CAN bus. I just got the boards and they pretty much said "have at it" without any prior knowledge. By now i know most of the really basic stuff about the CAN bus and SPC5Studio but I don't know where to start and what to read. The boards that I got are aek-mot-3p99081 (with the motor) and spc58ec-disp. I also downloaded all of the necessary stuff for the SPC5Studio such as AutoDevKit, MCTK etc. I underastand that i need two terminating resistors and then connect the boards?I am supposed to load the programs to the board and test them out seperately and then start testing the communication between them using the CAN bus. How can i do it and where to start? And might there be a really bored expert that can help a student out for some weird reason with a call or explanation. Thank you for reading :).
