Posted on January 25, 2017 at 14:58Hello all,We are facing some difficulties with FlexRay driver development for SPC564A80B4. We can able to configure the Protocol Control Registers (PCR0~31) for FR configurations, so that ECU and FlexRay module successfully able to move to Normal Active state of Flexray communication. Also message buffer configurations for Transmission and reception is also performed according to number slots. Tool (CANalyser) is also configured with the same flexray configurations as ECU. Now, when we are sending a frame from ECU in slot 64 (dynamic slot). But we observed frame error/ SERR error in the CANlyser window, also payload length is observed as zero and slot ID is 64 is visible. The use of the hardware-id-filter have made it easy so far but now we fail in one last test where we must distinguish whether the framing error has occurred in the header or in the response.Is there a way to distinguish these two events in the framing error interrupt with id-filtering activated?Thank you in advance!Best regardsTorben#lin #spc560d #framing-error #linflex

Posted on November 18, 2016 at 17:38 I'm currently using SPC5Studio 4.2.1 (4.2.1.201607051420) and use it to develop on an SPC560B-DIS evaluation board. I noticed that edits I make to component files in the lib sub-directory are handily stored in regular diff format in patch.xml. Is this device designed for Serial trasmission by virtual COM Port? If it isn't possible, why the drivers installed on my PC allow me loading VCP (enabling COM Port)? Moreover, is there another way to communicate with board using a serial protocol? I've read in 'RM0015 Reference manual for SPC563MXX' that in this board there are two eSCI ports: how could I use these ports for my purposes? Posted on December 07, 2016 at 09:13Hello,I would like to make a native Linux build of the ppc-freevle-eabi toolchain that is shipped with SPC5Studio; the toolchain comes with a readme.txt with some release notes, but it does not state the origin or where sources can be found.Can anyone shed some light on this? Are the sources available as a whole, and if not, are the changes made to the default 4.9.2 gcc available somewhere?Thank you,

Posted on November 05, 2016 at 13:31Hello.I have an M95320 EEPROM and I have connected it to an Infineon microcontroller XC2331D. Enclosed you can find the circuit diagram for the EEPROM.I have tried to communicate with the EEPROM through SPI ports and write character �a� to EEPROM and read it back, but the result is always 0xFF. I have monitored the EEPROM SPI ports using Logic analyzer and enclosed you can find the monitoring results.Since you can see, I have read the status register content and I have received a correct data on MISO port, therefore it seems that the data has not been written to the EEPROM and that is why the received value is always 0xFF.My question is why the data has not been written to the EEPROM while the signal on HOLD and WP pins of EEPROM is high?Any feedback you can give me on this would be gratefully received. #eeprom

I'll be glad if you can help about the following issues:1) When I try to create a project using steps ''File->New->C Project->Makefile Project->SPC5 C/C++ Application'' and press to the ''Finish'' button, an error message is shown saying ''Unknown process: com.st.tools.spc5.WizardProcessRunner''and the created project is empty. When I use the wizard, I can create an example project which I can succesfully generate and build.2) I'm working on SPC570S-DISP development board. However, I couldn't connect it through the USB port. SPC5Studio doesn't see it as an hardware to which it can load the program code. Debug button on the Activity Wizard is not activated. What should I do to make SPC5Studio to connect the SPC570S-DI
