As far as I've understood, the connection interval is set through 'aci_gap_set_discoverable' and if the related arguments of the function (SlaveConnIntervMin and SlaveConnIntervMax) are 0, it is set to 7.5 ms (as for BLE standard), otherwise it is set using multiples of 1.25 ms. Which is the minimum value which can be set? Can the connection interval be set to 1.25 ms in order to maximize throughput?Thank you,Daniele#bluenrg-ms

Posted on February 09, 2017 at 19:42When I run aci_hal_write_config_data() as a first command after BlueNRG-MS reset, I get ERR_CMD_SUCCESS. But when I call getBlueNRGVersion() first, then I get ERR_COMMAND_DISALLOWED from aci_hal_write_config_data(). What is the reason? How checking BlueNRG-MS version can affect any other command?#command #version #aci #bluenrg-ms

Posted on February 08, 2017 at 04:39Do you have reference project for central role which has pairing prodedures?I know en.fp-sns_flight1_firmware is the best referencing project which provides good example of pairing procedure and security issues on peripheral side..But I could not find a good example project for central side like en.fp-sns_flight1_firmware. All the reference projects for central role that I have downloaded from ST website do not have code for  handling pairing procedures. That is why I need a referencing project which enables me to implement pairing function in my project.

But it does not issue the stated parameters for data transfer rate and for reasons unknown to us periodically stops sending data for periods of the order of several hundred milliseconds. Where to look about this problem? or may be someone faced with this problem?

Posted on January 30, 2017 at 23:57We are trying to reach real-time 50mS per round trip of 20 byte TCP messages of receive and then send response. I'm actually seeing closer to 150mS round trip time. Much of this time is taken up in switching between data and command mode. Our measurements indicated 88mS or 44mS per side. Switching to command mode requires the following characters Tx:'at+s' and Rx:'+WIND:59:Back to Command Mode'. At 115,200 bps that's 0.00295sec at 10 bits per char which is 6.8% of 44mS delay. What is the other 93.2% of the delay time? How long should it take to switch from data mode to command mode? This appears to be putting excessive overhead on our message traffic?

Posted on February 01, 2017 at 16:06Hi,I'm using a SPWF01SA1 module to send data from my application to a central server using POST requests.I need to transfer 64 kByte of binary data (application/octet-stream) using a single POST request as I want the destination server to receive a single transfer command which must be validated and confirmed back for correct reception.I've seen that the command AT+S.HTTPPOST has limitations on maximum length so I cannot use it.Then I've upgraded the firmware to version 3.5 to try command AT+S.HTTPREQ, build my own POST header and be able to send data after the command.In this way I've managed to send up to something less than 12 kByte. During transfer, the RTS signal is raised every 1024 byte so I inserted a pause to let the buffer flush. No matter how long I wait between the HTTPREQ command and the data (should I wait?) or between RTS signals (all of which stay deasserted for a fixe

When they got the IP address 192.168.0.50, I can't connect to them via TCP anymore. Then I have to reset the device.Does anyone has this behavior, too? What are the supported baud rates for UART? In addition, I want to know what is the effects of UART on the WiFi throughput? I mean I want to know how can I provide high data rate (e.g. 54 Mbps) over UART from host to spwf01sa.11 module? If the baud rate is low, I think it limits the WiFi throughput very drammatically. The STM32L's are embedding the same FW, driving the BlueNRG). on both electronics the same configuration is applied: BlueNRG advertises and presents one service containing two characteristicsOn one of the two electronic model we see very strange behaviour regarding the way BlueNRG answers to the connection request of a USB Bluetooth dongle or any android mobile running typical Bluetooth app (nRG Connect)After successfull connexion between master and BlueNRG, master tries to detect the services. On the 'strange electronic' the BlueNRG answers its service list 8 seconds after the request has been sent from master.... on the 'normal' electronic it is almost immediate.

I'm trying to read a register from it, and since the ST didn't put the right figures in the datasheet, describing register read and write sequences, I had to look it up in the SPIRIT1 datasheet. Register is properly read the first time after power cycle and subsequent readings return wrong register content. Eventually MISO pin is held low and the radio stops responding.I have recorded the communication using the saleae logic analyzer and is in the attachment.Best regards#spirit2 #spi

I use an IBD04A1 board with a Nucleo 401 board.Everything seems to be good, I copied the bluetooth handling codes into a task configured by CubeMX.The task initializes the board and the infinite loop contains onlyHCI_Process();User_Process(&axes_data);Bluetooth is working well (I can connect with an android phone), but no other task can run.When I put a osDelay(1) inside the loop, the bluetooth cannot works (cannot discover it, and no connection), but other tasks canot run too.If I call only the  getBlueNRGVersion(&hwVersion, &fwVersion); beginning of the task and there is only an osDelay inside the taskloop, it damages the multitasking system.
