Posted on August 16, 2016 at 03:37Using BlueNRG 6.4b, I received an event that I think is Evt_Blue_Gatt_Procedure_Timeout (FF 05 02 0C 01 08 00).  Document UM1755 says there should be 2 bytes after the event code but I'm seeing 3 on my SPI analyzer.  Am I interpreting the event correctly?

When I receive EVT_BLUE_GAP_BOND_LOST, I need to know which connection this is referring to because this event can be received as Master or Slave but according to the definition in bluenrg_gap_aci.h,  the event does not contain any parameter data. It would be helpful if it included the connection handle.#bluenrg-ms #bluenrg-pairing

Posted on January 05, 2017 at 22:35I am trying to update BlueNRG-MS FW (using IDB006 Eval Bluetooth Dongle) using GUI -> Tools -> BlueNRG Updater -> BlueNRG-MS (v3.1 and above) -> bluenrg_7_2_c_Mode_2-16MHz-XO32K_4M.img (Tried 7.1 FW too)However, GUI fails to update the FW with an error: HCITimeoutError.Not sure what is the issue. I have some problems when I want debug the project Demo sensor: I tryed to use ST-LINK and also the J-LINK but in both cases I have some problem:With ST-LINK I can download the application in the target but when I try to stop the debug or put a breakpoint, the IAR stucks and I can't continue the debug. I must restart the debug session. I'm using IAR7.80.2When I use JLINK I have a different behaviour: I can download the application, stop, put breakpoins and so,  but the speed of the LED1 is different if I'm in debug mode or not. When I' in debug mode the led LED1 blick very slowly and after about 10 second I'm not able to communicate with the iOS App. But whe I disconnect the debugger and reset the board all works correctly and I can see the data in the iOSApp. Why the led LED1 blinks with

Posted on December 26, 2016 at 09:13I am using the SPBTLE-RF connected to a standalone MCU to communicate with my PC using BLE.I am establishing the connection and the data is being transferred ok but every X minutes I encounter a drop in the BLE connection. In such case, the PC tries to connect again to the module and the connection established again so the data transfer.Are you familiar with such phenomena?BR.

Document UM1755 BlueNRG Bluetooth®LE stack application command interface (ACI) implies the time is 2 mS.  This is important because there is an errata saying that BlueNRG will lockup if a new SPI command is started while the BlueNRG is trying to go to sleep.

The throughput performance of the Bluetooth would be crucial, since it would be used for large files transfering sometimes. But I couldn't find any performance data about the BlueNRG Bluetooth. I want to know about the actual maximum data sending/receiving rate of this Bluetooth solution. Is there anyone could help me? Regards. #bluenrg-performance

Posted on December 05, 2016 at 21:32Hello folks,while experimenting with an idw01m1 module, I am experiencing deauthentication with the message:WIND:40:WiFi Deauthentication 3With the '2015' firmware, the module was unable to reconnect until WiFi was turned off and on.With latest (2016) firmware the situation has improved a bit, and the module automatically reconnects.I strongly suspect this behaviour has something to do with a timeout because:1) it happens only if there is no data exchange2) it happens exactly and systematically after 300 seconds from the last RX/TX.Yet, I wasn't able to find a parameter either in the module or in the router to change it.To connect, I execute this sequence after a factory reset:at+s.scfg=wifi_wpa_psk_text,<password>at+s.ssidtxt=<my SSID>at+s.scfg=wifi_priv_mode,2at+s.scfg=ip_use_dhcp,1at+s.scfg=wifi_mode,

My question is, when i'm going to do some operation on the EEPROM, how do I know if it is completely IDLE? I know that bit WIP in the status register indicates if there is an ongoing write cycle. But does reading a ZERO in WIP bit mean that there are no ongoing operations at all? If not, how to verify if the EEPROM is free to take up new task?
