Posted on December 26, 2014 at 17:50After firmware update, module does not working.I was using a cople firmware versions:-- SPWF01S-140512-703c969-RELEASE-main.bin-- SPWF01S-140805-3f58d6b-RELEASE-main.bineach one is does not working.As start address  I used 0x8008200.After couple tests I decided to read hex flash data from the second Wi-Fi module and write it to the old one. As result - > The old one is working.On the next step I was using STM32 ST-LINK Utility for the flash programing, start from the 0x8008200 address. But module is still does not working...Could somebody explain me what I am  doing wrong?

Peripheral is advertise  data, similar with iBeacon  and  updates  advertising data content  every 10 sec.  Central  starts passive scanning.  It should  to read and process  advertising  data, before start  of  connection establishing procedure. Packet sniffer shows correct  advertising data and its updates  (address_type - Public, Adv_Ind, 37  bytes of data, AdvData= 15 FF xx xx �xx -02 01 05-05 12 20 00 40 00).Central did not  find  my Peripheral,  but at same time , another device  (TI Sensor TAG)  has been discovered. Posted on February 02, 2015 at 15:43I'm trying to read ADV data sent from a sensor device to my BLUENRG device.I can see the ADV data with a sniffer, but I can't have my device to pass it up to my app.What HCI command should I send to the BLUENRG device so it returns the ADV data it received from the sensor device?Thank you for your help.

We used the ST lib (lib_SRIX4k.c from the MMY Application Team) that manages this tag. The hardware design follows the typical schematics and bill of materials. Some of our boards work well, other do not and we do not know exactly why. So we would appreciate some help to understand the causes: For instance, when it fails, a deeper analysis says: - The communication between the host and the CR95 uses the UART channel. This communication works pretty well. - the response to the Protocol Select is 0x00 0x00. So, according to the function CR95HF_IsReaderResultCodeOk(), it sounds Ok. - The response to the ''Initiate'' gets weird since it does not correpond to any expected returned codes (i.e. 0x80, 0x86, 0x87 etc.): We got 0x00 and 0x00. However we've run into limitations of built-in TCP/IP stack while checking required functionality with devkit:    1) It's not possible to specify local port that client UDP socket binds to. We could do instead with a) creating socket, b) finding out local port it's bound to, c) specifying remote host:port to ''connect'' to, but that can't be done either.    2) Server UDP socket cannot communicate with several clients. (I think the TI CC1101 can be configured to do it, so should be the same for the SPIRIT1).If it is possible, then I guess I can still use the reference BOM for 433MHz for my design and the only thing I need to change is to configure the frequency base and center frequency to 403MHz through the Spirit1DK GUI?I'm looking forward to hearing from you all,ThanksQuyen

Posted on November 21, 2014 at 03:44Hi, I am working with evaluation board (STEVAL-IDW001V1) equipped with the WiFi module (SPWF01SA.11), and having trouble with updating the firmware (FW) to the board.  I followed the instructions to have BOOT0 high during power up and then pressing RESET (SW1), but the board doesn't respond with a ready message on my terminal software.  In addition, I have tried a few troubleshooting options with the factory FW. Posted on December 17, 2014 at 10:35Hi all, I'm using the WiFi module to connect to infra WiFi in socket server mode. The module return (through serial link) that connection to WiFi is OK. But sometimes, in the WiFi router interface (a Freebox), the module is seen but stay in a not reachable status. At the end, it's not possible to send data to socket server. Even a ping to module address doesn't work. Sometimes it works perfectly... for few hours and then back to unreachable. This custom page contains a html form that pushes its data into firstset.cgiA user can select a network and the firstset.cgi will then tell the SPWF01S to connect to that networkThe problem:We had this working correctly, but made changes to the code of the microcontroller, that should not affect the described situation, but somehow it does.When using the same webpage, the SPWF01S can no longer connect to WPA2 networks, because is no longer crunches the key:W

In these days, I spent a lot of my  time trying to use Bluetooth IDB04A1 with a Nucleo STM32F302 board without results... I know that the protocol used for communication  is SPI  and not UART (instead the previous board worked using uart) and, for this reason,  I seem that BLE doesn't work with my board and I have to buy STM32F401. When I use ''NOTIFICATION'' this problem is not appear. I have checked this issue in ''Ble_chat'' project (I have modified characteristic properties for ''charUuidTX'' from ''CHAR_PROP_NOTIFY'' to CHAR_PROP_INDICATE and set delay (1s) between sending packet) and this issue also has  appeared. In some cases it is possible to find this information from the Bluetooth specification, but in other cases (especially for the Vendor Specific Events) there is no Bluetooth equivalent. This makes development work very hard. The general request is: can you please complete the ACI documentation. (You must have internal documentation - can you share it please?) In the immediate term I am trying to interrogate a service and characteristics on a remote computer (specifically, I am trying to obtain the time using the Time Service). I am trying to use relevant commands but I can't interpret the results they return. Can you please provide the missing information for these Vendor-Specific Events: Bluehci_Att_Find
