STM32 MCUs Embedded software

I'd like to use the PTP clock peripheral in my STM32F427 for timekeeping - but without using the rest of the ethernet functionality, or dedicating any pins to it.I prefer the PTP clock to the RTC as it offers a 32-bit subsecond (rather than the 16 bits the RTC provides) and 32-bit seconds (rather than the RTC which counts seconds-minutes-hours-days-months-years)In my experiments so far, I can only start the PTP clock when a clock is provided on ETH_RMII _REF_CLK although I don't need to configure any other pins for the RMII interface. Sadly, my PCBs are already made and don't provide such a clock on that pin.Is there any way to either start the PTP clock without providing a clock on the ETH_RMII _REF_CLK pin?

On page 186 of the datasheet for the STMF407xx the diagram for using USB FS shows that the pairs PA11/PA12 (OTG_HS) or PB14/PB15 (OTG_FS) can be used to connect the USB DM and DP lines. However, the pinout table on pages 52 & 55 explicitly list the functions of PB14/PB15 to be OTG_HS and PA11/PA12 to be OTG_FS. Can pins PB14/PB15 be used for USB FS operation as indiciated by the diagram on page 186 of the datasheet? It doesn't need to appear in windows as either FS or HS, it just needs to work. Thanks

Hi allI use the STM3240G-EVAL. CubeMx version is 6.0.1 and using TureStudio for ST32.I try to test the lwip for a few days. But it was not working.I referenced the "Lwip_Echo_Server example" project which before is the HAL library.It works well.(ping test)But if i test the code bye CubeMx, it doesn't work.What is the problem in my configure the CubeMx. Hey There, I am trying to create a DHCP server, on stm3210C eval using LWIP 2.0.3. and the ethernet phy seems to work but I can't get the static IP to show on the router's connected device list

I am facing difficulty in making bank swapping example code to work, provided in STM32Cube_FW_H7_V1.8.0. Can anyone please point towards FDCAN example for H743ZI2. I am able to transmit data in loopback mode but normal mode is not working. In loopback mode, both the transmit and receive interrupt are coming but in normal mode, Transmit interrupt is not coming. I found example on github but they are for H743I but not H743ZI2. ​Hi, i have developed 60 electronic card using an STM32F205RCTx.On 40 card flashing the code using USB was possible(STM32 cube programmer detect USB) but on the 20 card STM32 cube programer do not detect USB and the PC show me the msg"unknown peripheral"​Can anyone help me please.

Dear Community,I was trying to make composite USB2.0 device (FullSpeed) consisting of a UVC and HID component. Both the components I’ve tested before as a standalone device successfully. However after making a composite device accordingly to the HID-CDC example in the STM32F105/7xx, STM32F2xx and STM32F4xx USB On-The-Go Host and Device Library I found myself lost. Using a hardware USB analyzer (and some help from OSR community)  I found so far that after receiving the composite device descriptor by the PC host a class request (0x0A) failed with the USB analyzer message: �?The device was not able to process this request. I'm looking to implement Ethernet IAP with the STM32F767ZI Nucleo Board. The only example I have is for the STM32F769I_EVAL board where the INT pin from the phy is connected to the microcontroller. There is no such pin connected to the MCU in the Nucleo board. I'm running a NUCLEO-F429Zi discovery board inside a machine that I remotely control over the internet. I would like to do a firmware upgrade from remote as well.It can be done with TFTP in app programming, but most examples use a hardware button to get the device in IAP mode.Since I'm not at the machine, is there a way to trigger it from software?

So I have two channels configured basically with same settings. ADC1 works fine and DMA gets triggered and handled well. ADC3 DMA refuses to trigger any interrupt (not even an Error). The only difference is that ADC1 handles 14 channels while ADC3 handles 2 channels, But reducing ADC1 to 2 channels didn't make any difference (ADC1 was still OK while ADC3 DMA wasn't working). ADC3 works well in polling mode without any problems. I am using Nucleo-f446re and communicate with a server trought a GPRS telematic device ( the communication with the telematic device is through uart protocol). My average firmware size is 35kB. I can safely transmit the hex file to the MCU but I need a solution so that the MCU starts from the new firmware after restart.

Hello, I have an project with STM32F103 and using CubeMX drivers. I successfully setup the driver, but I have a problem when trying to send out from pc packets biggest than 64 bytes. (64bytes is the enpoint buffer & max packet size). On PC I'm using simple testing program which sends packets with different lengths from 10bytes to 200bytes.
