Hi guys,I'm experiencing a hard fault error during USB CDC enumeration and can't track its source.The failure occurs in the file usbd_desc.c, when the functon Get_SerialNum() calls a subroutine IntToUnicode() which shall convert an uint32 into its string representation.I could track down that the calling function Get_SerialNum() provides a valid memory address at 0x24000164 where the string result shall be placed, but in case of that error the called function IntToUnicode() gets 0xFFFFFFFF as destination address which finally causes the hard fault. hello everyone Hello to everyone,I have a project where I need to save data on a usb disk and communicate with the computer. I designed a circuit with a type A connector on the usb fs (a11 a12) line and a type b connector on the usb hs (b14 b15) line. usb fs line works in msc mode. I can write data to usb disk. but I could not run the usb hs line in cdc mode. I made a cdc example from usb fs line before. Anyone have any idea why the usb hs line is not working?I'm using cubemx 6.0.1 and STM32Cube_FW_F4_V1.25.1.I saw something like this while debugging. I did not set the usb to high speed operation. I seem to have connection with the problem.

The ST link on the board creates a virtual com port, conected to the LPUSART1 of the micro L4A6ZG.What I´m trying to do is to program the micro throught this com port. To do this, I try this sequence:Put boot0 to high, by shortcircuiting pins 5-7 of CN11Push reset button to enter bootTry to connect with STM32CubeProgrammer using the option UART, 115200 Parity Even.Then I can see the packet send by the PC in the TX pin of CN6, but there is no response from the micro. So, a time out message is shown in the log.When I connect to the board using S-LINK it works correctly.So, I would like to know if what I´m trying to do is possible, and if yes, what could be the problem?

Hi everybody,I have a weird problem with my STM32F302CC;In my project, HSE can work properly without USB is configured. But when I configure USB, things get weird.In debug mode, the program crash in SystemClock_Config() function when it reaches to ;if (HAL_RCC_OscConfig(&RCC_OscInitStruct) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); }Console shows "Target is not responding, retrying..."As I mentioned before, with the same clock settings and USB unconfigured, the program can work properly but when I configured the USB device it starts to crash.

Hi, I'm not sure if this is the right spot for this question, but here goes. I've just migrated from CMSIS v1 to v2. One of the changes to the API was thread creation. The stack size is now specified in bytes instead of DWORDs.  The size is simply divided by 4 before it passes to FreeRTOS. That's ok, but for some reason it also casts the stack size to uint16_t. I think that is wrong. It should cast to configSTACK_DEPTH_TYPEUnfortunately I have some legacy code that requires a stack far greater than 2^18 bytes (a highly recursive algorithm). In CMSIS v1 I could specify a 32bit stack size, but now v2 is limited to 16 bits. The transmit command only clocks out the provided data and then the clock stops, I need it to continue for 8 dummy clocks before doing receive I think.I bet there is a simple answer to this though, can you help me?

I am testing the above setup using an transcend micro sd card adapter with 16GB sd card.I have no response from the sd card , i have used 32MHz clock with a spi baud rate 8MBits/s.i have used drivers from  STM32Cube_FW_L0_V1.11.2\Drivers\BSP\Adafruit_Shield\stm32_adafruit_sd.c.I am not able to even mount the sd card .let me know what could be the problem is their any limitations ,thanks in advance.

I'm using STM32F767ZI MCU based Nucleo -F767ZI development board, which is supporting Ethernet communication protocol and so on. I have a motor driver which is supporting the EtherCAT communication interface, and I want to interface that motor driver with Nucleo board using EtherCAT communication method. I have LWIP supported library with Nucleo - F767ZI development board. Is this communication set up valid for communicating two boards one as master and other as a slave. Please suggest any solution regarding this.

However, when i relocate the Vector table, my windows pc gives error that the USB device is malfunctioning. Other peripherals are working just fine after relocation. I am trying to set ADC pre-scaler of my STM32G431KB however no matter what I do it never changes from 0x0.I can setup ADC1 register without a problem but when it comes to ADC12_Common register nothing seems to be configurable. Hi all,We are using the en.stm32_f105-07_f2_f4_usb-host-device_lib_2.2.0 library for CDC functionality. Our STM32 ist USB device connected with host. Everything working fine till the host gets HW reset. Then sometimes after host booted again the STM32 does not send data. Do you know why it could happened and do you know reliable fix for this case?Thanx,Sergey

I am working on STM32H7 mcu. I have 14000 bytes of data and I am sending it over Ethernet in packets of size 1400 each. I want to transfer these 14000 bytes in only 45 µsec which I am unable to because i had to wait for each packet sent. How can I dump complete 14000 bytes on Ethernet dma so that I can free the CPU for other tasks.

I am trying to develop a custom boot-loader on Nucleo-H743ZI2 evaluation board. But the boot-loader is not jumping to application code. I had referred to the other posts regarding the topic and adopted some code from those also. I had flashed the codes of application and boot-loader to the respective memory locations at 0x8020000 and 0x8000000.Please do point me to the problem in the code provided.

Im trying to find how to write to the common ADC registers CCR on an STM32L412. What is the name of the structure I need to use? Im trying to access the common ADC register CCR I am using the names for registers is stored under the file in CMSIS>Device>ST>STM32..>Include>STM32.. but this doesn't seem to include the *names* of the structures - they're labelled at the end of the structure, but you actually can't use the names as they are there - for example ADC_TypeDef;must be either ADC1 or ADC2. So how do I refer toADC_Common_TypeDef; ?? how am I meant to know?

Posted on February 06, 2015 at 18:23Is it possible to enable ''RS485 mode'' while in ''bootloader mode'' to allow the possibility to perform a DFU (device firmware update) over RS485? We use a STM32 F072 microcontroller on our custom PCB board and we have the USART port connected to a RS485 chip (ST1480). I have not had success in trying this on our board, but I might be missing something.  My attempt involved configuring the USART port in RS485 mode using USART_DECmd() and then jumping to the bootloader via a function pointer (as discussed in other STM32 threads). I was also wondering if it is possible to use different USART pins than the default when in bootloader mode.  If this were possible, I would think you would need to configure the pins as ''Alternate Function X'', configure the USART, then jump to the bootloader.
