Hi,I'm developing an audio device which will process incoming audio signals into a distorted output.Since there is a series of processes that will be executed, I thought it would be useful to use "double buffering" to process the collected audio, while simultaneously fetching new data in the background using DMA.Below is the essence of what I'm doing. Hello, I use STM32F429IGT6 MCU I am trying to communicate with TI's DLPC through HW connection. To use this, use LTDC. SW uses the Standard Peripheral Library and Complier uses IAR. The HW GPIO settings were set using CubeIDE, and were set as follows according to the IDE's GPIO settings. I am trying to send a 24bit image by setting it to RGB888.  1. When sending as RGB888, the settings are as follows. I have a question regarding interrupt handling for CDC_Receive_FS.After receiving CDC_Receive_FS we do any process we created, but we do not want to do CDC_Receive_FS during the process.Is there an API to disable or enable CDC_Receive_FS interrupts?

STM32F103Im using HAL_UART_Transmit_IT but doesnt work, if change to HAL_UART_Transmit all works fime but add delays to move in motors.   As mentioned above, I encountered a similar issue before when using the L0 series, and at that time, I chose to abandon hardware I2C in favor of software emulation. Now, with the STM32G431, when I use LL_I2C_HandleTransfer to configure continuous reading of multiple data along with LL_I2C_MODE_AUTOEND, after the first read operation completes the specified number of bytes, it automatically triggers a STOP condition, which is as expected. However, upon the second invocation of this code segment, I noticed that after reading the last byte, the SCL remains pulled low. This behavior seems equivalent to the I2C peripheral being stuck. The STM32, as the master, should not keep the SCL pulled low without performing any operation at any point.On the first read operation, a STOP condition was automatically triggered after reading 6 bytes of data, which is normal.When I call the same function for the second time to read data, after the last byte is read, the SCL remains pulled low, which

I want to set up error handling for my CAN messages, and I wanted to start with errors from sending messages to IDs not on the CAN bus net. However, every message I send is acknowledged. "Hi,I am trying to read an ADC value from the feedback of a PWM signal generated via TIM3 PWM.TIM1 generates a PWM signal with 4 channels, including complementary channels. The CCR value updates from the Sine table using DMA.The ADC is being read when the TIM1 update event occurs. The ADC data is saved to the buffer via DMA.However, when I try to read the ADC, the data is only saved alternately.Why is this happening?"  

hi, that's the first time a i wrote to this comunity because i'm stuck with this *** problem since one week right now, i made a custom board with stm32h750vbt6 , 4 stereo audio dac and 2 4ch audio adc, eth phy , clock gen ic and etc.. now my idea was to send and receive audio over udp unconnected socket. since i've allredy made the pc app, audio driver etc... and this i'm sure that function because i've already tested in local netwwork with multiple pc and different device. i made also the fw for this board, tested all the component and work everithing perfectly fine (the dac work the adc work ETHERENT WORK FINE !) i'm sure about. i've tryed using freertos, bsd socket, netconn, raw api, no OS and raw api and so on... the resul it's always the same: i'm able to send the audio over udp and the receiving app work fine BUT i'm not able to receive the audio and play it correctly! , the udp packet arrive but when i fill the buffer, (no data corruption i checked) the output is distorted so my

hello everyone. I've bought a board from WeAct Studio and I've successfully configured LVDC it to show a constant 16 bit image from Flash . I am new on this forum, my name is Francesco and I am an STM32 MCU enthusiast :) I am currently using the STM32F042U6G6 in one of my project and I noticed that in the ISR vector table generated by CUBE-MX in startup_stm32f042g6u6ux.s file, the addresses where DMA ISR vectors (other than DMA1-channel1) should be mapped, are given to "0" adddress and commented as reserved.However, on the reference manual of the MCU they are clearly specified to be the DMA channels ISR vectors. Didn't find anything on the errata so I don't think they are reserved to workaround some MCU hardware issues. Does anyone know why they might have been set to null pointer?Thank you in advance,Francesco

Hi guys,I need your collective intelligence, because I am a bit lost on the information given by the ST datasheets and reference manuals.Backstory: on a few of our prototypes we started to see random failing behavior and investigated quite a bit. The faulty behavior seems to start when the stack lies in SRAM2 region. KEILs default linker file has IROM region from 0x20000000 to 0x20005000 which is SRAM1 and SRAM2 together as one region.Could it indeed be that the Stack in SRAM2 or even over the edge between SRAM1 and SRAM2 could cause faulty behavior? Hello,I need to create an .elf file from a program that I didn't write but has already proven to work. I'm using an STM32L031K6T6 processor and I work with STMCubeIDE. I selected the processor correctly when creating the STM program. The HAL directory is correctly added to the Include path. When I try to debug the project, the error "fatal error: stm3210xx_hal_adc.h" appears seceral times.If I am not allowed to change the code, what settings can I still investigate which could be causing the error?Thanks in advance.

Hi all,I am currently working on a project where an 8 bit bus of 32 MHz is sent to a STM32G474, which has to be saved for 8kB at a time followed by that data being sent over SPI. I have got the SPI part working fine, my question is mainly regarding AN4666 (reception), as it is very close to my purpose.I am currently just getting started in the world of STM32 and have a hard time adjusting (shifting from the Arduino IDE and Xilinx Vivado to STM32Cube) and the example code given with AN4666 is nothing like what STM32Cube generates when starting a (random) project. Is there any way to implement this in STM32Cube with this specific microcontroller? I have got GPIO PB0-7 free.

Hello, I want to supply my St Iot discovery kit board with a battery supply, I have changed the header pin to 5V_VBAT. As i am connecting my battery to the Vin and gnd pins the red LED keeps blinking and LD5 is off.  Kindly give some suggestions how should I fix this. I am using a 5v rechargeable battery for this, can I use a 9v battery for the same or it will damage the board ?

Hi Developers,I have an STM32L0 microcontroller connected to an NRF24 module via SPI and a SIM808 module via UART. The system is designed to remain in stop mode until an interrupt is triggered by the NRF24 module. Upon interrupt, the microcontroller wakes up, sends data to a database via the SIM808 module, and then returns to sleep mode.However, after the initial wake-up, the microcontroller fails to wake up again, even if messages are sent to the NRF24 module. Strangely, if I comment out the execution of the SIM808 module, the system works properly.I've checked the interrupt handling, power management settings, UART communication, and hardware connections, but I'm still stuck. Any ideas on what might be causing this issue?

Hi all,Reading page 400 of RM0399 (Reference manual STM32H745/755 and STM32H747/757). It talks about how to allocate peripherals for each core. But I don't understand. I can't seem to find the PERxEN bit in either RCC_DnxxxxENR or RCC_C1_DnxxxxENR registers.How do I allocate the green and red LEDs (pins) of this board to CM4? or green to CM4 and red to CM7?Here is the port pin initialization code I have and some #defines.
