RNG, CRC, and DMA are all peripherals on the STM32L08x AHB bus. If I try to write to CRC_INIT before enabling CRC clock in RCC then STM32-WorkBench Memory window correctly just shows zeroes. But after enabling CRC clock in RCC_AHBENR and writing to CRC_INI, then value written is shown in Memory window.But if I do the same with RNG or DMA then those peripheral registers aren't accessible for writing after enabling the peripheral in RCC.Is there some special magic that has to be applied to enable clocks to those two peripherals?

I have been able to build the STM32H7B3I_DISCO_2_Images_Loader from STM32CubeExpansion_SBSFU_V2.3.0 project targeting STM32H7B3I_DISCO board. I have also been able to build the example file and use the Ymodem protocol for sending the UserApp.sfb file to the the board.Instead of the Ymodem protocol I am trying to use an I2C master device for sending the UserApp.sfb file. Looking at the example there is a lots of dependencies on the Ymodem protocol. Is there a way I can determine the file size from the sfb so I can use that in the I2C master for determining the number of bytes that needs to be sent to the STM32H7B3 board.I am looking for a break down of the sfb data structure, with the hope that I can get information such as the file size etc.

I write an application with FreeRTOS using STM32CubeIDE. Now I want to run it as an application with SBSFU. It seemed to have a hard fault after SFU_MPU_SysCall(). My application is a bit big. Its .sfb is 300KB. But it can run correctly alone without SBSFU. I write an application without FreeRTOS using STM32CubeIDE, It works well. Any idea how to solve the problem? Thanks!

I am currently trying to port SBSFU from running on STM32H7B3i-DK to run on a custom board that has a STM32H7B0 microcontroller onboard developing with Keil MDK version 5.I am using the example standalone loader project STM32H7B3I_DISCO_2_Images_Loader from ST as my base. Using the STM32H7B3i-DK I have been able to build the following 4 projects contained in STM32CubeExpansion_SBSFU_V2.3.0.More specifically I am using the STM32CubeExpansion_SBSFU_V2.3.0\Projects\STM32H7B3I-DK\Applications\2_Images_ExtFlash example.I have also been able to make changes to the STM32H7B3I_DISCO_2_Images_UserApp and load the firmware with the SBSFU loader using STM32CubeProgrammer.The problem I am having now is getting the SBSFU to run on our custom board but not getting any joy. I have tried following AN5056 Application note but not getting far for the following two reasons (1) Using IAR development tool (Linker

Hello all. I am using stm32L071CBTx and I need to implement crypto here. I am using official crypto library(UM1924). I have managed to run the code with my hardware. Th problem I am facing here is that whenever I change plainText values, it doesn't work and go to errorhandler function. same is true with other parameters such as keys etc. What should I do ? Can I use any c/c++ library and use it in stm32 ? Thanks and Regards.

Currently when using SBSFU (1-Image in our case) one defines the application/download region.Usually this region goes up to the wireless stack install address to utilize the space most efficiently.My issue now is: What happens when due to a wireless stack update with a potentially larger size, the new SFSA address is lower, ranging into the application/download area.Shouldn't SBSFU be SFSA aware? To calculate the size of the application area with respect to SFSA?The BLE_STACK_Full didn't see size increases in its recent releases, but the light stack indeed did. Would you reccommend to decrease the size of the application space just in case a future stack update would be larger in size? But if so, how much space should be reserved?Ignoring this would potentially block future stack updates (specificially security related updates) if the stack size would increase.

The approval process may take up to 48 hours. After you have been approved, you should receive a link to the requested software via email.Hopefully this is not the case as I won't be setup for the training tomorrow. Hello, does anyone know how to programmatically calculate a CRC using the same algorithm than the one provided by the CRC module of STM32L431 ? Can ST just provide a up-to-date documentation/application note providing the implement CRC algorithm on STM32L431 ?I tried to use the algorithm described in AN4187 but nevertheless it's not the good one (just try to compute the CRC example described on AN4187, you'll get 0x80 instead of 0x4c).Thanks

I just updated SBSFU to version 2.4.0 (this version finally uses SHCI_C2_Reinit() to allow the application to run the regular initialization sequence even if C2 is already started by SBSFU)SBSFU 2.4.0 now always initialized C2 (independently of it acutally being used) and calls SHCI_C2_Reinit before starting the external loader or the user application.With 2.4.0 now our Bluetooth Loader does not start successfully anymore since C2 is already booted. The Bluetooth Loader uses the __SEV() method which should allow it to use C2 even if it is already initialized - under the condition that SHCI_C2_Reinit() has been called.During investigations I realized that the call to SCHI_C2_Reinit() produces a non-zero error code. Specifically it produces 0xFE. This error code is not defined for HCI, and even if it is a custom error code, AN5289 does not give details on it.One match I could find would be FUS_STATE_NOT_RUNNING (0xFE) whic

hi,my type is stm32f031, i try to debug ' spi + dma + crc' mode. i have no idea about transmit crc .i just enable crc_en, and set the bit crc_next every sending 8bit value.my logic analyzer occured the only 8 bit datas, it not contains the the crc values.
