STM32CubeIDE (MCUs)

I am using STM32CubeIDE Version 1.3.1 on a Windows 10 computer to build my project.I have a httpd server running on a custom STM32F407 board. It works properly and the website is displayed when accessed in a browser.I use makefsdata.exe to convert the html code to a fsdata_custom.c file. The file is placed in the Middlewares/Third_Party/LwIP/src/apps/http folder.The problem I have is when I make a modification to the html files and regenerate the fsdata_custom.c file. If I replace the existing file with the newly created file, the old website continues to be displayed. This has nothing to do with a caching problem. If I pull the site up in a browser on another computer that has never accessed the site, the old site is displayed.I have found a convoluted way of making the 407 board display the new page.I use File Explorer and right-click the fsdata_custom.c file, select Resource Configurations, and select Exclude from build. Hello!I have a problem with STM32CubeIDE. I want to generate project with FreeRTOS, and use only HAL LL code, but when I set Timebase Source for TIMx, there is generated bunch of pure HAL code. Timebase Source other than SysTick is required due to FreeRTOS recommendations.I want to avoid bloated codebase.

Hi, my question is does HAL APIs support FreeRtos or its ST equivalent. Like they are thread safe and so on. I am asking because it would be easier for me not to think of race condition or deadlocks and whole design would be much cleaner. Thanks

I have tried making a Project from scratch and selecting the C++ during the wizard, and also tried converting an existing project by going to properties and selecting convert to C++.It just doesn't seem to be a C++ project.I'm using a STM32L476RG dev board and select this board in the wizard process. I select the C++ option but none of the produced files have a CPP extension, including the main.c. Hello.I install STM32CubeIDE 1.3.0 at Fedora 31 and got error "No more handles" with closing application in several cases:Launch IDE, in main menu "Help" -> "Install new software".After open example project (initialization is ok) or create new one (build is ok) and double clicking on some source files.With some projects IDE crashes immediately after startup. It can be start if I delete ".metadata" directory in my workspace.IDE log file is attached. How can I resolve this problem?

I'm trying to reserve space in RAM for emulated eeprom. I can read and write fine, however when I try to modify the linker it won't compile. After 10 years moving from IAR IDE to STCUBE . Having spent much, much more time than I really care to admit, I am unable to make a smooth transition to the new platform. So here is the thing: Where can I literally start from the beginning? One real frustration is that I have hard coded all of my GPIO in the past, now it appears to be as simple as clicking a pin in GUI to set up a pin. Well that's great for NEW code, but I have so much legacy code..-- that does NOT port. Also it turns out the HAL does not work the same (or have the same functions as the previous) ST drivers (it, rcc, and especially stm32f0xx_i2c, etc. )Right now attempting to setup a disco board with a 4 x 20 LCD display using i2c. Should have been as easy as importing the code, making a few modifications, and "Hello World" So can anyone please provide a simple starting point. I am NOT asking for a person to debug, or ask me to Google "where to start with STMCUBE" Just want a good starting point to utilize the new IDE

I am using a Nucleo-F103RB dev board with Cube IDE 1.3.0. I am able to successfully flash the board (which I have tested by making the user LED on the nucleo toggle at different frequencies), but immediately after this is successful, I lose connection to the debugger. Hi Every I am new to this platform.​my question is as the topic stated above. My situation is that I have my completed project on Keil Vision 5 which works well, but for some reason I need to migrate the whole firmware to STM32CubeIDE. ​I googled about the problem and there is no much information about it, while the only seem-valid message i got is: SPL seems not to be supported by STM32CubeIDE.​is rewriting all libraries the only way for me to complete the migration? If so, is there any hints or shortcut for me to do so? Or I really have to rewrite the whole thing?​P.S. After udating the Cube MX, I started a new project for the STM32NUCLEO F767ZI. On the default settings I added, through the CUBE MX, the FREERTOS and the LWIP.Then I set TIM2 as timebase source. Finally I generated the code.Surprisingly, when I start debugging I get always an Hard Fault. The hard fault happens randomly during the peripheric init and in one case it does not happened. I am further investigating but some idea would be appreciated.

The serial wire viewer option is disabled, i can't enable the serial wire viewer option in the stm32cubeide. Can you give some suggestions ?

I'm working with CubeIDE and Blue Pill boards.I need to frequency count an external intermittant signal at about 4MHz. To do this I need to catch the start of the signal and do my 1ms count period as quickly as possible.I can't see a way to do this in MX but I'm a newbie and probably missing something.Any help appreciated.
