Hi everyone, I'm writing my own bootloader for STM32f407VG, in the start address of flash memory. But getting problem GetID command is not acknowledged. Hi,I'm facing this weird behavior with many STM32H7A3ZIT6 parts, where after we flash our Firmware, the MCU do not work and when we read the flash content, we can notice that one flash bank (1MB) is either corrupted with random data or erased. Sometimes we see Bank 0 in this state, other times Bank1.When this happens we check using STM32CubeProgrammer, the option bytes are normal (no read or write protection is checked), and more interestingly is that STLink returns a weird Flash Size ValueFirst Bank with random data Second Bank is normal (has valid code)

I can't connect the STM32H7XI-disco board with the PC.At first, it was connected through ST-Link.I connected to the PC using a micro Btype cable to ST-LINK V3E (CN2) on the board.However, it is not connected after the wrong version of download.I want to know how to initialize or bypass the board to put in a normal program.I will explain the current state and process of this.This was a project created from "STM32Cube" on "STM32CubeIDE".I modified the clock through the .ioc file, and after the correction, the project was built with all the error-prone parts disabled, such as the DCMI in 'image_3.'At that time, set BCM4:1 and BCM7:0 from STM32CubrProgrammerand download built project to MCU. If you refer to 'image_4, you can see that it is properly recognized on the PC.However, errors such as 'image_1' and 'image_2' occur.I hope we can connect it again somehow.

I use STM32CubeIDE to generate two elf files, one for CM7 and one for CM4. Does the elf files contain the information needed for STM32CubeProgrammer to know which core to target when programming?

Hey all,I use the STM32CubeProgrammer v2.8.0.I want to display the ITM messages on the console with the following command. STM32_Programmer_CLI.exe -c port=swd sn=0677FF555054877567083453 -swv freq=216 portnumber=23The problem is that the parameter "portnumber" does not work. It always outputs only port 0.Is this a problem of my command or a problem of STM32CubeProgrammer?Am grateful for any help!

I want to download a DFU file to a target using STM32CubeProgrammer (2.9.0) running on the MacOS. I can connect to the target and read its memory contents OK, but when I try to open a DFU file, the filename is grayed-out. The manual does not mention a separate driver (like there is for Windows). Help? Thanks.

Hai, I have used NUCLEO-H7A3ZI-Q board for controlling sonar sensors. But I cant flash the code into the board. The inbuilt ST-Link is detected and is recognized by the computer. But when trying flash the code an error message 'Error: No STM32 target found!' is displayed. Then I used STM32CubeProgrammer, the same happens. Computer cant establish a connection with the board and no target information is displayed on STM32CubeProgrammer.Thank you.

Hi, I am using STM32G484QE board for development. But I can't flash the code into the board. The inbuilt ST-Link is detected and is recognized by the computer. I had tried all configuration i.e. I had tried all modes i.e. "under reset mode", "normal", "Hot plug" also I had tried all reset mode i.e. "software reset", "Hardware reset", "Core reset". but same error occur. How to resolve this issue. Is there is any other way to erase chip.

I have a question about the flash program function by UART communication on the evaluation board NUCLEO-L433RC-P.After rewriting flash with UART, I restarted it with Run After Program, but it does not work properly (LED blinks if it is normal).Unplug the USB cable and plug it in again to run normally(LED blinks).It works normally if it is restarted by writing the option byte without restarting with Run after program.However, I think that restarting with write option bytes is prepared for it to work well after writing option bytes.For that reason, I would like to reboot in another way.​How do you run the application after rewriting flash with UART during VDD turned on?​I would like to update the software by connecting only the 4 pins of UART TX, RX, VDD, Ground.Best regards,

Hi,I'm using the serial download mode with STM32CubeProgrammer (on a Win 10 64bit system) on a custom board with a STM32F030R8T6.Starting with last version (2.9.0) the serial download stopped to work.If seems to work if I press the "Download" button, but if after I do a "Verify" it shows a mismatch error (and the MCU seems stuck) as shown in the attached image.Also the "Full erase Chip" doesn't work. Using the previous 2.8.0 it works perfectly. I've also checked v2.7.0 and an old v2.1.0 and all they works.I've also tried on a Linux machine (Linux Mint 20.2) with the same behavior. The v2.9.0 doesn't work, while the previous v2

Hello Everyone.I'm currently trying to understand how the startup sequence (from power-on to main) of the STMs work.As I always used the provided tools and files from ST I never had to deal with linker scripts, startup code etc. This lack of knowledge always bothered me, so I decided to fill this gap.I thought to make a small project where I don't use any of the ST files and write everything on my own to learn how the startup process actually works.For this purpose, I created a very basic blinky LED project for a Nucleo-F072RB board, tested it with the common toolchain (CubeIDE and STM scripts & files) to make sure that the code is correct and then create the whole startup sequence on my own with the help of some online tutorials on this matter.As I'm not familiar with assembly language I unfortunately couldn't take the ST files as a base (and because they are much more advanced as I want them to be for the start)

The ST-LINK / V2 programmer is not detected on my PCs.Before that, when I had a win7 x64 PC with a core i5 processor - STM32CubeProgrammer worked. I currently have a Ryzen 3600 win7 x64. I have installed the latest STM32CubeProgrammer 2.9.0 and am getting "no st-link detected" error. Moreover, through the STM32 ST-LINK Utility, the programmer is detected and works. Everything works through STM32CubeIDE too. I tried all possible driver versions, still no st-link detected. I tried different versions of STM32CubeProgrammer both x64 and x86, still no st-link detected. I tried various USB ports, both USB 2.0 and USB 3.0, tried different ST-LINK / V2 programmers (I have several of them), I even tried on another PC with the same configuration (Ryzen 3600 win7 x64), I still get an error no st-link detected.Why is that? What else do I need to do to make STM32CubeProgrammer work on my PC?

HiI know that this is probably a brain fart on my side, but I am currently playing around with the NUCLEO-G031K8 and cannot seem to put the MCU into reset using the reset button on the Nucleo board. In fact, I am running a simple GPIO LED toggle program, and it just keeps toggling even when B1 is pressed. Am I missing the obvious here? :\
