Hello, I'm working on STM32L051 MCU. hi! i'm using stm32L4r9Ai.​i programmed user dfu boot (from 0x08000000 ~ 0x0800C000).​read, write, and erase operations are also performed normally in cubeprogrammer.​one problem is the speed at which the cube programmer connects to the device in the dfu boot state.​It is fast when connecting to a device in system memory boot state. It takes less than a second.​but, it takes about 6 seconds to connect to a device in the user dfu boot state. its too slow.​usb speed setting is the same in the image below.​ <dfu boot connect>

Good morning,We have several equipments working with the STM32L4 MCU. These equipments can be programmed (using STM32CubeProgrammer) from different computers we have at our facilities.In one of this computers, we have a problem when trying to flash the equipments: verification fails and equipment is not correctly flashed as it does not work. If you flash the same equipment using same STM32CubeProgrammer, equipment is correctly flashed. Which is the problem? What do we get such error? How can we solve this? After PC boot program works fine for some time but after some time the screen is corrupted. (also seen a completely black or a completely white screen). When clicking the pop-up windows are however OK.

When I load the external NOR flash on STM32429I-EVAL with TouchGFX Designer, STM32 Cube Programer or IAR flash loader, the data is not loaded correctly. There seems to be interleaving 16-bit word of written and not written data. The data written is in ELF format with the external flash data linked to 0x60000000.Testing with custom firmware show that only calling HAL_NOR_Program may produce similar problem, but calling HAL_NOR_GetStatus after each write resolve the problem.Can the default tools be used to program external flash on this board, or some custom software will be needed for flashing this flash chip?

I set External Flash Loader through setExternalLoaderPath(). And I can successfully download content to External Flash by using downloadFile(). But what I erased after using massErase() is the MCU Flash. I can't find the related content of full erasing External Flash in the STM32CubeProgrammer_API.chm manual. So how to full erase External Flash by using CubeProgrammer_API?CubeProgrammer_API version is 2.7.0. (I cannot use the 2.8.0 version, because the 2.8.0 version will cause a fatal error.)

I have a bootloder - this is an application stored in the first sector in flash bank1 which at start is checking if USB is connected and going in flash update mode, otherwise is jumping to a application stored in the next flash sector.The bootloder mode code has DUAL_ BANK enabled and in the .ld file FLASH is defined as 2048k.Cube Programmer in USB connect with this bootloder successfully programs small application that fit in the FLASH_BANK1 but for bigger applications that go over to the second bank the operation fails and the CubeProgrammer : erasing sector 0002 @: 0x08040000 done 14:40:10 : erasing sector 0003 @: 0x08060000 done 14:40:10 : Erasing memory corresponding to segment 1: 14:40:10 : Download in Progress: 14:41:08 : Error: Write failed at address: 0x8100400  14:41:08 : Error: failed to download Segment[1] 14:41:08 : Error: failed

I did not set anything though. I did some researches and I try some things :Change the Option Bytes in Target > Option Bytes > Read Out Protection. I don't know if it is relevant of the actual RDP state but when I open this tab, the RDP is on Level 1. When I set it to 0 and click on Apply, after few seconds an error is displayed saying Could not set Option bytes! Please reset the target and retry. and also the flash size of stm32 nucleo is of 512kb but on stmcubeprogrammer it shows 8mb.

Hi, I have STM32F407VET6 with a bootloader which reads microSD card, checks for user application update, flashes if it exist and jumps to use application 0x08004000.All was working fine when my user application was <48kb. I wrote some additional code (which should not impact the start of the application), and now id does not work.Previously debbugging started at "HAL_Init()" like it should when user application was <48kb But now, when user application is >50kb it starts debugging at some kind of wrong address:

Dear,I have a big problem on a STM32G070 and I don't know what I can do to solve it.The system is composed of 2 boards with a STM32G0B1 for the first (master board) and a STM32G070 for the second (slave board).The 2 MCUs are connected by UART and this link is used to update the slave MCU by the first using the STM32 bootloader.The setup was the first MCU (master) programmed with the firmware and the MCU (slave) full erase with the default option byte value.In a first time, I programmed the slave MCU with the STM32 UART bootloader from the master mcu and it was OK. The slave MCU worked well. I rewrite the option byte of the slave MCU by the firmware to be able to used the GPIO BOOT 0 pin as legacy mode.In a second time, I tried to upgrade again the slave MCU using the master and it doesn't worked. I am using the STL library from X-CUBE-STL. To check the data in flash, I have to calculate CRC in the post build section and upload it to flash. ST provides an example post build command for this. But there is a problem, no data in flash is filled with 0xFF, while in the generated bin file it is filled with 0x00. I figured that I need to add "--gap-fill 0xFF" for this. After adding this command, the bin file was filled with 0xFF as expected, but the CRC value Cube Programmer calculated is still the same. That is, the data being 0x00 or 0xFF did not change to the CRC value generated by Cube Programmer. Could this be a process priority issue in the post build part? I'm coming across a strange issue, and the documentation for the API isn't really helping much. I've got a small application to load some firmware using the CubeProgrammer_API, and it works perfectly if I point setLoadersPath() to "C:\Program Files\STMicroelectronics\STM32Cube\STM32CubeProgrammer\bin". However, I'd like to include the FlashLoader files with my project so that STM32CubeProgrammer isn't required to be installed with my software. I copied over the FlashLoader folder and pointed the function to the directory the FlashLoader folder is in, but now when I call connectUsartBootloader(), it fails and returns -5: CUBEPROGRAMMER_ERROR_NOT_SUPPORTED. Any ideas? What exactly am I missing?
