Posted on September 02, 2017 at 17:40hello team,when i wakeup from standby mode always system reset was generating.My SW not jumping to address what i mentioned in CADDR register .when i debug the issue found 'F_FCCU_HARD' Flag was enable after wakeup. is there is any method to disable this Flag permanently? if yes.please share some sample code to handle FCCU Module?Thanks in advance.

Posted on September 04, 2017 at 14:35I have a simple for loop that should ideally run 20 times, inside which I toggle an LED.When I debug this code on my SPC56EL controller (on a daughter board which is mounted onto the XP56 motherboard) WITHOUT hardware breakpoints, it toggles only once and exits the main handler (confirmed this behavior). But when I add breakpoints in the loop, it works perfectly. Any logical reasoning for such a behavior?Summarizing - The code works when I put breakpoints in the loop but executes the loop only once when I do not put any breakpoints in the loop. #pls #spc56 #32bits #microcontroller

Posted on August 29, 2017 at 19:15Hello,I am trying to get eMIOS channel to capture an input in SAIC mode (Falling Edge) then trigger DMA channel after each capture in order for the DMA to copy the time stamp from the UC register A to a data buffer.Note: time stamps are taken from Counter Bus A which is driven by UC23, the counter is working and the SAIC mode is also working.My problem is that eMIOS does not trigger DMA at all, i am only able to trigger DMA manually through SSRT register (DMA enable bit is set in the eMIOS UC25 & UC26 control register). Target: SPC58EC80E3Target Application: DMA Triggered by eMIOS ChannelseMIOS link with eDMA:eMIOS_0 ... In this FlexCAN0 is used in loop back mode and it is working. But after disabling loop back mode,I cant see any data on the CAN_TX pin with scope. Posted on July 27, 2017 at 14:00Hi,I am using a SPC560C50L3 controller on a SPC560BADPT100S MINIMODULE board which sits on the XPC56XX EVB Motherboard. Power supply checked, jtag driver checked. The JTAG used is from PLS USB/JTAG Adapter for SPC5XXX. Using a sample application (CAN application), I could manage to build the code. But from here on, I tried to read the manual to use the JTAG debugger but I could not successfully flash code. Another thing I notice while using UDE STK4.8 version, is the Target names (in Select target configuration) DO NOT match any of the names (name of controller, minimodule or the motherboard). From this what I understand is I do not have a target configuration file, specific to the board in use. How can I solve this?? Any help is appreciated.  #spc5 #pls #spc5-studio #jtag

Posted on July 28, 2017 at 10:46Hello Community,I am measuring several voltages and I would like to have a precise reference to be able to calculate the best physical value without using any external reference.The ADC uses for the internal conversation VDD, which is supplied by an external voltage regulator. Actually these regulators have a high tolerance, so that I cannot be sure to have 5 V.I could use an external IC to generate a precise 1.2V or 2.5V reference and read this with the ADC.Actually I was asking myself if I cannot get rid of this external refernce IC and use any precise internal voltage?!Does somebody know if there is any internal voltage (like the internal 1.2V for example) which I can read as the reference voltage? Posted on July 21, 2017 at 08:40Hi I am working on SPC560B50x controller and trying to send CAN messages from the controller to the busmaster tool.I am unable to hit CAN transmit ISR breakpoint, but messages transmitted through my controller is getting reflected in the busmaster tool. CAN configuration is as follows-: 1) Using CAN channel 0.2) Baudrate 500 kbps.3) No FIFO being used.4) Lowest Buffer transmitted first5) Max Message Buffers used are 32 for all IMASK1 is enabled ( value given = 0xFFFFFFFF).6) Bus Off, Error, Tx Warning, Rx Warning all are enabled.7) All being done in the freeze mode. In CAN_Transmit function I am setting appropriate code for transmission.I am using 32 message buff to transmit 32 different data, same message ID over CAN bus and clearing all IFLAG1 after transmission. Code snippet is attached.

Posted on July 26, 2017 at 16:02I've inherited some CAN driver code and I'm looking at the error handling. Currently the only error that is enabled is BO (Bus Off). When this error is seen the CAN peripheral is reinitialized and all error flags in IR are reset. Anybody have any experience with any of the other error flags? Should I enable any of the others? Maybe it's enough to have just BO enabled because eventually any kind of serious error will trip BO??Thanks.Mike#ir #bo #can

Posted on August 03, 2017 at 12:26Hi,i'm using Hightec Studio/Compiler an i try to set the PIT for a SPC570s µC. InterruptInstall(IRQ_ID_PIT0_CH0, callback, 1)This function set the following:INTC_PSR226 = 0x8001 and set the Pointer to the funcion 'callback' into the vector table. Now my Problem, everytime when an Interrupt occurrs, the programm crashed. In Debug Window, the Controller stops at: 0x00000010:   FF FF FF FF  Unknown Instruction .It would be nice if anyone could help me.

The CAN module looks like it is correctly initialized, but when I try totransmitusing one of the MB's, the CAN Txline shows no activity and remains in the default high state. Time Stamp and Code field of the MB is showing the correct updated values. An interrupt is generated as well. Any idea what may be causing this problem?
