Posted on March 26, 2012 at 19:50Not sure where to post questions on the LSM303DLM, so I posted here. I am currently using a LSM303DLM in my product and I have wrote libraries to read and calculation the x,y,z axis acceleration and the x,y,z magnetometer. Right now the accelerometer data is working correctly for measure tilt, however the magnetometer data is not calculating correctly for the ecompass. I was wondering if anyone has the some insight into this and could help me out. Also if someone has some raw data and can show me the calculations through the steps to calculate the proper compass heading it may help me find what I am doing wrong. I have read the app notes and tried to implement it, but something is not working right. Any help right now it appreciated! Thanks in advance! Dave

Posted on January 27, 2012 at 00:59Has anyone successfully compiled any of the iNemo/DFU code?  If so, how did you do it?I've tried Atollic/eclipse, which wouldn't work because there's no project file and I couldn't seem to resolve the dependencies and incompatibilities with the standard library.I also tried IAR 6.30, which wouldn't work due to CMSIS version incompatibilities, which nobody I've seen can seem to resolve.So what gives?  How the heck am I supposed to do anything with this code?  Why aren't any of the supposedly ''supported'' toolchains actually supported?

Posted on January 26, 2012 at 23:23I can't get DFU or iNemo firmware code to compile with Atollic.The code seems to be a mess with changes to the standard libraries, etc..  Please create a project file for Atollic, or tune up the code so it will compile on anything other than IAR, or help me with some instructions on how to accomplish this.Please provide some support for Atollic/eclipse, otherwise you're shutting out ALL linux developers.  #atollic

Posted on December 20, 2011 at 20:27I am facing timing issue with lis3dh accelerometer in FIFO mode.Currently my ODR=25 Hz and I am reading FIFO on watermark threshold=30.As soon as I get watermark interrupt I read 196 (32*3*2)samples at 5 Mhz.Hence I clear the entire FIFO before the next ODR sample time=0.04seconds(1/25). However after two minutes I am at an positive offset of one second.Is this due to inaccuracies in the accelerometer timing ? Our application requires that all the FIFO data to be available at precisely 2 minutes. Can you please tell us what can we do to achieve correct timed data. #lis3dh #mems #support #lis3dh

After the registration I get the link to download the file with the name: ''iNEMO_Suite_2.3.0_110913.zip''. When I try to open it I get an error message that the file is damaged. When I try to unzip it, I get a messige that there are no data to unzip, in the folder.  The download link is limited to one download only so i can't try to download it a second time. What can I do to get it work or can you send me the software a second time?Regards,Nik

Posted on August 16, 2011 at 14:32Hello,         Im facing a problem with the Inemo SDcard api. Iam able to read and write multiple blocks and single blocks but Im not able to erase the card. When I issue a command for erase and then read the block I always get 0xffff. Has anyone faced a similar situation or knows the reason why this is happening? Thanks and Regards, Hansen.Dsouza #inemo

Posted on October 25, 2011 at 11:48Hi Fabio,I find something confusing in the demo project.The data update task is synchronized with the  Timer2 interrupt, and the timer2 is update every 0.02s(50Hz), so the delta time should be 0.02s. But the iNEMO_DT in iNEMO_Engine_Lite is set to 0.01. So something wrong with it, or I missed something.Thanks!

Posted on October 17, 2011 at 15:55I received the mk1062v2 board today. Eventually go it working by upgrading software and firmware. However I cannot get the magnetometers to deliver any data. They flatline. Also of interest is that in raw data mode the temperature is about 800 degrees whereas in AHRS mode it is probably correctly at 34 deg C. Can anyone assist in nexplaining whether I need to do something else to get the magnetometers working or how I can test to see if there is a dead on arrival roblem with this part of the board. #inemo

Posted on September 29, 2011 at 13:23Hi, my question is if it's possible to connect a button to the inemo v2 board which I need in an application as start button (or can i use one of the buttons on board, but how can I get the button status (pressed = true/false) with the DLL? other question is that I have a bluetooth module that uses i2c, can I connect it with the iNemo via the pin connectors? Posted on September 16, 2011 at 12:52Hi all, I used the iNemo application to enter the device(STM32F103RE) in DFU mode, but then when I open the application DfuSe demonstration, it is not listed in the list of available devices. In the device manager, I can see that it has one entry: STM32 DFU. Though this one is not recognized. What has happened to the device? How to leave the DFU mode? I want to upgrade to the new firmware to use AHRS mode. Please advice. Thank you

Posted on September 08, 2011 at 16:49Hi,    I am trying to do double tap detection at 10hz and 25hz .Is this possible at low frequency. Viewing the acceleration graphs in Inemo PC suite I could see that the response is poor at low frequency and good at 400hz. Is any there a way around this if I want to detect taps at low acquisition frequency to reduce power consumption. Looking forward to your suggestion. Regards, Hansen

Posted on April 09, 2011 at 20:49Hi,   Could someone tell me what is the reason for having a 1.8V supply for the digital I/O of the accelerometer.One reason Im guessing could be lower power consumption and compatibility with lower voltage peripherals but in this case the MCU on INEMO board is running at 3.3volts.RegardsHansen #inemo

Posted on August 12, 2011 at 10:23Hi,    I am currently developing a PC application for STM32 using Inemo board.The PC application will be able to upgrade the firmware of the STM32 using Dfu mode. Iam using Visual studio Vb.net for the PC side application. I have succedded in enemurating my device and getting a symbolic link to the device and Im able to read the DFU Functional descriptor. However Iam unable to do upgrade because the variables used in VB are quite different somehow from the C++ ones.And since I cannot really have byte arrays in structure I have to create consequtive memory regions by placing many bytes one after each other Has anyone linked the dlls using vb.net? Iam facing problem with  ''STDFUPRT_CreateMappingFromDevice'' to this function I have passed a string of symbolic device link as the first parameter and for the second parameter Iam
