 Hello,We are currently developing a couple of devices with USB-C DAM support and have chosen to use the STUSB4500 as the power sink on the device side.We would like to understand whether the following behavior is expected, and if there are any options for managing or configuring it:Using a custom debug board, we pull both CC pins high and then apply 5V power to the CC bus. Once this setup is in place, PD negotiation begins. However, we consistently observe a sequence of three Hard Resets initiated by the STUSB4500. This would not be a concern on its own, but during each Hard Reset, the STUSB4500 also toggles the nVBUSENSNK pin, which in turn enables downstream power for approximately half a second.We’ve attached a screenshot from a CC protocol an

Hello, I noticed that the ISO8200B datasheet specifies CMTI (Common Mode Transient Immunity) performance. However, I would like to know how to actually test or evaluate the CMTI of the ISO8200B using the STEVAL-IFP015V2 evaluation board.Are there any recommended procedures or application notes for performing a CMTI test with this board?If possible, could you provide some guidance or reference materials? I have a been looking at the STBC08 to charge a very small Li Ion battery (Seiko MS-920) which accepts a very small charging current.  Is it possible to increase the size of Rprog resistor to accommodate a charge current of ~1mA?  From what I read, the maximum value of Rprog is around 12kOhm.  Is the primary concern of increasing the value of this resistor feedback loop stability?Thanks!

Hi Guys,I'm using external 3.3V to supply permanently the powerstep01 logic and would like to supply VS (24V) only when I need the motor (I put the schematic in attachment).The problem is the logic does not work without VS.Everything works fine if VS is supplied permanently. But if we supply first 3.3V and the 24V a bit later (when I need the motor), the motor does not run. I have already tried to clear UVLO error flag through CmdGetstatus command after connecting VS but it didn't help. A reset by setting low then resetting high the reset pin didn't help neither.Thanks in advance for your help

Hi there, I have two questions on moving forward with a STUSB4710 in a 5k EAU project.  1. Do you have recommendations on a setup to program the NVM in a CM environment? Likely this involves custom firmware based on the project recommended in the NVM flashing tutorials in some of the presentations I've seen? Is there a straightforward way to load this into an existing STM32L474 project and use the I2C interface to update the NVM? Any tutorials or information on this?2. The STUSB4710 seems to take a long time to discharge the output node, so that it's 30 seconds or so after a detatch event before it will re-establish power connection with the tablet. Is this expected even after playing with the discharge settings in the configurator? I will look to grab some timing scope captures early next week when I have new hardware in hand. Thanks!

Hello.I'm using L6599AD without PFC.Previously, the DIS pin was connected to the delay pin and used as a shutdown.However, frequent peak current caused shutdowns.So I connected DIS pin to GROUND and made it work in HICCUP mode.However, the problem is that there are still occasional shutdowns.When I was using it in HICCUP mode, shutdown occurred and when I checked, PFC_STOP pin was in LOW state. (ISEN pin is OPEN state, pull_down.)With the ISEN pin OPEN, how can I get to the PFC_STOP pin in the LOW state?What are some situations where PFC_STOP can be shut down in the LOW state instead of overcurrent?It's a frustrating situation to have such a problem.Please help me.

Hi,I’m planning to use the EVLSTGAP3SXS-H eval board for testing at around 40 A. The MOSFETs are rated for much higher, but there are no heatsinks or clear thermal paths on the board.What do you propose for thermal dissipation at this current level? I have working on STSPIN32G0B1 board for BLDC E-Bike. I have need 5V Supply for Motor Hall signal, Throttle and Pedal Asist sensor (approximately 60 to 70mA). Can I able to convert 12V from REG12V to 5V using 78l05. REG12V can able used to provide external supply. 

We are trying to build 30W PFC circuit using L6562 in fixed off time(FOT) mode ref AN1792 in this configuration the zcd signal is taken from gate signal but in our case ic not providing gate signal hence mosfet is not switching.attached voltage graph of different pins.

We designed a buck converter based on AN5380 with an input of 600Vdc and an output of 12Vdc. The device turns on at around 55Vdc, but the output keeps shutting itself off and turning on again (image1). This keeps happening as we turn up the voltage. However, at around 80Vdc, the output changes to many small bursts and then a large spike up to 12Vdc (image 2). Is this only a problem that appears with lower voltages? Attached is the schematic of the circuit (image 3). Are the values we chose unsuitable for this application?

 Hi I am developing new carrier board for COMe type-6 Module. Where i have a requirement of Display port to connect an external display with 5v @3A max, 9V@1.67A max. below block diagram has 1. COMe type 6 module (Host).2. Re-driver (MPN: TUSB1046A-DCI) for DP lines and USB lines.3. A variable buck converter which will provide power from 12V source, for which need control signals from a PD IC.4. I am reworking a discrete driver design for a custom LED emitter device. While the driver can be changed, the custom emitter board currently cannot. It's designed for common V+ with multiple sinks, 10 groups of 21 LEDs in series. Our drive current would range from ~70mA to ~150mA.We really like the ALED7709 and wanted to see if there was a way to cascade units to work with this custom LED circuit (three ALED7709s, one of which has two channels disabled). Obviously this is tricky concerning the voltage feedback circuit. As I expected, if I completely bypass VOUT and power the high side of the LEDs directly, control and dimming work but drive is lower than wanted. All lights will be dimmed/controlled in unison, so I was curious how bad the ALEDs would fight each other if I ran VOUT from one ALED, and tied all three feedback pins together.
