We have integrated the STWLC38 into our wireless power receiver design and are aiming to utilize the full 15W power capability. However, we have encountered an issue when using the latest QI2 (MPP) chargers. Our receiver remains in BPP (5W) mode, and we are unable to achieve EPP (15W) as desired.Interestingly, when we use an older transmitter development kit (P9242-R, now obsolete), we are able to achieve EPP (15W) without any issues. We are keen to understand why this discrepancy exists with the newer QI2 chargers and how we can resolve it.Additionally, we prefer to use QI2 chargers in our setup due to the presence of a metal ring that ensures proper alignment. Could you please provide guidance on how we can achieve EPP (15W) with QI2 chargers using the STWLC38?Furthermore, do you have any plans to support the MPP protocol for the STWLC38 in the future? Hi All, I'd love to add Wireless Charging to a project that is particularly space constrained!I've found the WC Receiver STWLC38 which ticks a lot of boxes, but requires a lot of external components. Has anybody used this successfully?What is the minimum requirement for external components that could still function? Reference Schematic Below: 

Hi,I am designing 2.7kw boost converter for which I am using SCTW100N65G2AG MOSFET. In the datasheet it lacks information about switching times(like rise time fall time and delays) and max DV/DT the MOSFET can take before failing. I feel these data is critical to operate MOSFET safely. Is there any information regarding this ?

 HelloI think its a config issue with my STWBC86, but im not sure. Im having a strange issue where the CHG pin on my recieve circuit is dropping to 0V for roughly 300us which triggers an interrupt in my system to think that its been woken up. This happens very 2000ms (ping interval) preventing the STM process for going to sleep. The STWBC86 is powered from 12V and my recieve circuitry is powered from a Lipo battery (4.7V Nom) originally it was overheating so I was kindly adviced to switch the config to Half bridge mode.This happens on both the ST Development and my custom board design when powered from 12V, It happens at 5V as well and has a similar waveform each time - which is why I think its configuration issue and not an interferrance thingAny help or pointers would be appreciated Mike

I am using the PFC flyback power IC HVLED 007. I see that this IC does not have the function of protecting high voltage (OVP input) and low voltage input (UVP input) of the power grid. So, when the grid voltage is high, the components can be damaged, right? Is there any way to add input power grid overvoltage protection function?

Hello, I am trying to use one pair of STWLC38 in TX and RX mode each. And here are my questions. 1) I could find the firmware for RX in ST website, but not the firmware for TX. Does the RX firmware include TX configuration as well? 2) When I debug this chip in GUI, the initial mode is 'standalone'. I assume that if I put 5V to VOUT, the chip consider itself in the debug mode. However, to use this chip in TX mode, we have to give 5V input to the VOUT, which is the same way for debug mode. So, should I change the mode of the chip to TX all the time after I power the chip? Thanks for your attention.

Hello, I am using the A5975 in an applicaiton that blows on power up. This sounds similar to the issue in the post below:https://community.st.com/t5/power-management/st1s41-step-down-switching-regulator-destroys-itself-on-low/m-p/171683 I have been unable to fix this with the exception of adding a resistor (10 Ohm or more) between the power supply and the A5975 (VBAT to VCC). This failure appears to happen only at power ON with a low impedance source. That is: power supply ON and plug in the power to target. I believe that connector bouncing makes this worse. Plugging or switching the power does not consistently cause a failure, but it does occur too frequently. If I plug in the power connector and apply power from the power supply, the voltage is ramped up over a few milliseconds. It never fail

Hi ST communityThe STWBC2-HP can be used with a GUI for configuration and plotting voltages and currents. The communication between GUI and firmware is done by UART. Is there any command list available that I can program my own interface on the computer? Unfortunately the ST support was not very helpful in this case.Michael
