STM32 MCUs

Hello to whom this might concern,I was recently experimenting with STM32C011J4M for a small hobby project (I am trying to fit into a about coin size) and want to comunnicate with other chip over I2C. Due the size of the package I cannot use debugging to find core of the issue, so I used multimeter and legs 4 to 7 as signal outputs. I let CubeMx to generate signal configuration and try to use PA8 as output signal (overlaping with PA11[PA9]). The resulting behavior is that the physical leg 4 is stuck on 1.2V and output is not detectable. If I leave PA11 set as analog-nopull, but remove PA11 from 'HAL_SYSCFG_SetPinBinding' the output becomes readable. From rading on the other pins, I can see, that the communication doesn't work. The I2C is also on overlaping pins (default generation put the pins on PC14[leg 1] and PB6[leg8], which also overlaps with programming connections). I try to communicate with lp581

Hello, we have designed different boards with STM32G0B1.With our latest board we find that bootloader is not activated at power on, even when Boot0 is high roughly 1ms before MCU power rises (I can provide oscillogram), instead of bootloader, application is started.Of course nBOOT_SEL option is zero. After giving a reset, bootloader is correctly starting.The only difference to other boards might be MCU revision. We have that problem with MCUs marked 'Z'. With 'A' marking every board is working.Are there differences between MCU revisions regarding this?Is there a minimum time Boot0 has to be high before power on?Is reset required to activate bootloader (i.e. is it not guaranteed to start after power on? if yes, what are the differences between reset and power on, respectively where are they documented)?I did not find answers to the above in your documentation.Thank you in advance

I am struggling with the keys in the new V1.5.0 LBM stack. Keys are read from NFC EEPROM and device is joining. After joining, I expect the stack to save the join and session keys in secure memory so the keys are deleted in EEPROM for security. After reset, the device does not join. How must this be handled.

Hi everyone,For my current project, I am working with an STM32WB55RGV. I am using all 256 KB of its RAM and running the ADC1 at a sample rate of 5.8 MSPS with 8-bit resolution.I am looking to migrate to a newer STM32 family that provides equivalent (or more) RAM and supports this high ADC performance. I plan to order some standalone chips and devkits for prototyping. Compact devkits would be a huge plus.During my research, I found the STM32H523CCT6 chip and the NUCLEO-H533RE devkit at a good price. Do you think this is the best choice for my needs? Also, are there other "mini" devkit options (like the Nucleo-32) that come with a large amount of RAM?Thanks in advance!

Hello. I'm working on a BLE  application that uses an STM WBA55 board and ThreadX. It was based on the St Threadx p2pServer example, The Sequencer is disabled. I'm using stmCubeIDE 1.19 and st_fw1.7 and i cannot migrate to new versions due to compatibility reasons.The main idea for the application is that the board initializes, advertizes 10-20 seconds for a connection, connects to a device like a phone pc, gets data from a sensor and transfers the data to the connected device. If no connection occurs or if the device is disconnected it should go into sleep/stop/standby mode until an EXTI interrupt from the user button is triggered. As of now the application is structured as follows:-- A main thread is in charge of initializing the rest of the threads (one thread for each type of sensor eg temp adc etc) and handle events like ble connection/disconnection and sleep/wake up requests.--Upon a sleep request a flag is set into an

Hi Community, I am using STM32H745I-DISCO board and generated a TouchGFX project and attempted to flash/debug from CubeIDE. The flashing process fails during the erase stage. Hi all !I'm trying to write a driver for a LevelX system to talk to a QSPI chip over the OCTOSPI1 peripheral (STM32H563). I got the chip to respond to most commands, set it up in reading / protected mode.But, later, I've spotted an issue : I cannot sent over DMA two buffer, one after the other (as I did, two call to the Transmit_DMA function). Or, the LevelX API provide me two buffer, that may not be contigous. HelloI have my own board with STM32G071KBT6 microcontroller. I successfully comunicate with charger by PD protocol and I receive up to 21 V (PPS). But I need above 21V. I have power bank with AVS up to 28V and USB cable with e-marker (up to 240W). How to configure the stack to receive EPR parameters? I have no TCPP IC, but I use my own protection circuit. In the trace the EPR commands isn't present. I use STM32CubeIDE 2.1.1 and STM32CubeMX 6.17.0.Thanks a lot and best regards

I have already generated and measured PWM/SPWM signals from TIM1 channels on the STM32, but I understand that using an ESC with a 50 Hz throttle signal is not the same as directly generating three-phase PWM for FOC.For this reason, I am considering using an X-NUCLEO-IHM07M1 motor driver expansion board with my NUCLEO-F303RE board.My question is:Can the NUCLEO-F303RE + X-NUCLEO-IHM07M1 combination be used for a sensorless FOC thesis project? Hi everybody.I'm currently trying to use the N6 Nucleo for a personal application but am having trouble starting the debugger after initially successes. I am using the Nx_TCP_Echo_Server example, and after a couple of successful iterations my debugger stopped working entirely.I am using the VSCode extension. When I start my debug session with ST-Link GDB server it will connect to the debugger, but an error will follow in the terminal as shown ("target not responding"). After disconnecting and re-initializing the debugger I will get the following error ("error in intializing... please check power"). I get the same issues after power-cycling the board. LED 2 (Red) will then remain off until I power cycle the board after the first error.

Hi everyone, I’d like to ask for your expertise. I’m working with a custom board based on the STM32H755ZIT, configured in LDO mode. My issue is that when I connect the board to my PC via USB to use the Virtual COM Port (VCP), the computer does not detect the device. I haven’t encountered this problem on other boards I’ve used, such as those with STM32L4 or STM32WB, where USB VCP works as expected. Is there a particular difference in the USB VCP implementation between the STM32H7 series and the STM32L4/WB series that I should be aware of? Hello,I am working with the B-L4S5I-IOT-01A board (MCU: STM32L4S5VIT6) and attempting to load a .hex file using the UART bootloader via USART1 (PB6, PB7).Since this USART is connected by default to the ST-LINK interface, I removed the necessary resistors (R42, R43) to isolate the ST-LINK connection. I then provided direct RX/TX connections from the MCU side through the corresponding pads.However, I am unable to detect the MCU UART in the STM32 Programmer IDE. The device does not appear or respond during the bootloader communication attempt.Could you please guide me on the correct procedure to:Properly enable UART boot mode on this board

Hello everyone,this is my first time building an STM32 Based Board myself.I am trying to talk to the Chip Using a CP2102 UART Bridge connected to PA9 & 10.For Reset and Boot 0 ive connected Reset (NRST) to RTS of the UART Bridge and Boot0 to its GPIO0 Pin and configured that Pin in the Bridge. I have however also tried just pulling Boot0 High and Jumping NRST to GND and then immediately connecting using STM32CubeProgrammer.Using an Oscilloscope ive found that the Magic Packet is sent to the STM32 (0x7F, 115200 Baud, Even Parity, 1 Stop) but there is no response (Tx of the STM32 stays high all the Time).PB15 is left floating, I am using the VIT6 Variant (The LQFP100 Package), its a Brand new Chip, is there any configuration required before this works?

Hi,first time TouchGFX user but not new to graphics programming and hoping to get some help understanding a TouchGFX problem I'm having on a Riverdi RVT50HQSNWC01-B I'm thinking of using for an automotive dashboard display.If I don't throttle my display changes, the display buffers don't have the same content. The buffer with the most complete looking content does have a small glitch towards the bottom right hand side of the RPM segmented display, so I'm guessing it's not as simple as TouchGFX didn't get around to doing all updates on both buffers but more like it ran out of space somewhere to manage the updates? Dear Sir or Madam,  We would like to use NUCLEO-WL33CC2 to verify DMR RSSI reliable detection(compulsory requirement) and demodulation(optional requirement).  We only need rx chain for scanning purpose.  As per ETSI TS 102 361-1, DMR TDMA frame has sync word in the middle of 30ms frame and does not have preamble. And in Chapter 10.2.2.2 (Physical layer), an RRC filter is designed for 4FSK.  It seems these settings may not have corresponding option in STMWiseCube, so that we would like double check with you if there is any better setting for detect 30ms packet RSSI at least.  We do know the sync word content for DMR, which is 48 bit long. The modulation is 4FSK, nomial channel width is 12.5kHz, and data rate is 9.6kbps. Hello,   in an earlier post it was suggested to reset the FDCAN for full error recovery using RCC_APBRSTR1.FDCANRST Bit This bit seems to be global for all FDCAN instances. Is it correct that full error recovery in one FDCAN instance is not possible without interrupting traffic in the other instance - as all (or both in case of stm32g0b1) instances have to be reset?   t
