STM32 MCUs Embedded software

Hi, all.​I am making a USB MASS STORAGE program.It is recognized by Windows10 and can be used as a drive after formatting.I was able to copy the file and open it correctly.However, when I reset the NUCLEO board, windows prompts me to format it again.I don't know Why?I use NUCLEO-F767ZI board, and MT25QL128 FLASH (QSPI mode).Thank you in advance.

I'm trying to teach myself USB HID with an STM32. Hi all--I am using HAL_SPI_TransmitReceive_DMA to retrieve data periodically from an inertial sensor. Hi, my USB host (CDC class) enumeration get stalled when the device is attached and enumeration status is ENUM_IDLE. The "IF then" test statement "if ( USBH_HandleEnum(phost) == USBH_OK)" should call the routine USBH_HandleEnum() but it does not and the calling routine exits immediately. I am using USB port on STM32L151RE MCU and I have to use external pull-up resistor on DP line. However, AN4879 document says that STM32L1 Series have embedded pull-up resistor on USB DP line. But DP pin doesn't pull-up automatically after USB initialization, like on STM32F4 or STM32L4 Series. I was trying on 151RE and 152RC MCU and nothing. Also, I was trying to pull-up this pin manually and I got 3V on DP line, but the voltage drops to 1V if plug USB connector and device didn't recognize. In errata sheet on STM32L15xxE there isn't any information about that problem. What's wrong with pull-up PD line? Is anybody use usb in 151 MCU?

i'm using Google Chrome. it typically makes it to 1GB of the 1.1 GB zip file. i once got the zip file to download but it wouldn't let me open it because I didn't have permission. No amount of trying to change the permissions made it work. i suspect the file is corrupted. is there another path to getting the projects and examples? i'm particularly interested in the FMC/SDRAM?Please help!

Hi, I've been having fun with SMT32s (CubeMX  Truestudio) for a while. Now I would like to try to switch from HAL libraries to low level ones, and maybe stop using CubeMX and write the code directly by hand.Someone can recommend me online resource, book or tutorial that I can follow. I searched on Internet, but I found practically nothing, only general guides on ARM core or very in-depth texts (not for beginners).Thanks in advance.

Im using CMSIS drivers for AT45DB and SPI. And Keil filesystem.And stuff dont work. What is a good design for USB for DFU mode for the STM32F4 (or STM32F7)? I want to connect an application to use DFU in the STM32. Hi i am using ethernet in stm32f746g disc board. Is there any way to check in program that the cable is connected from both side (board and router side). Because LED start glow in ethernet connector when both side connected but want to know how to check in the program.I am using LWIP stack in the program to use ethernet.

Hi,I am working on a project with Nucleo board 401 and the serial device SIM808, the communication is managed with CMSIS-RTOS2 APIs.In my code there are two threads, the first (mainTask) that sends an AT command at the SIM808 and the second (StartDefaultTask) which waits for a flag to be set to perform some operations.This flag is set in the UART callback HAL_UART_RxCpltCallback when the response to the AT command sent is received.The problem occurs when the osThreadFlagsSet function is executed in the callback because the second thread doesn't exit from blocked state and nothing happens, the system is blocked. I have found that the code blocks in the vPortValidateInterruptPriority function (file port.c) and it appears to be an issue with interrupt priority.But in the project the priority of the DMA and UART interrupts is set to 6, therefore, lower than configMAX_SYSCALL_INTERRUPT_PRIORITY, which is equal to 5.Could you he

I've got a project that uses TIM1 in OC mode to toggle some pins. It's been working fine for months but I made some changes that sent me back to Cube to make changes. While there, it wanted me to migrate the project:Cube version 5.6.1 -> 6.0.1STM32H7 firmware version 1.7.0 -> 1.8.0"Why not" I said because surely it's harmless? Well ... after the update everything seems grand EXCEPT that TIM1 does not activate (by "does not activate" I mean "the pins don't do what they used to do, or anything at all"). Even if I make no changes other than the version migration, TIM1 works just fine before migration, and doesn't operate after. I hunted around here and didn't see any other posts about it, apologies if I missed something, but ... anyone know what gives here? Are there new steps for setting up the timer? I poked around the examples that came with the firmware update package and didn't see any notable differences though I do see that there were various changes t

Hi,I started working with a Nucleo 144 board (STM32F767ZI) and have implemented an USB-CDC according an example of ST (see: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h9T0RTu9Muc).Everything works well, but if I disconnect the USB line before startup the system, the software runs into a hard fault error. Does anybody has an idea, what could be the problem and how to fix it?If you need more detailed informations, ask me please.Thanks for your help!

Hi,I tried to port the X-CUBE-IOTA1 Lib to the STM32F7-Disco.So i startet with a void Project added the Cube Iota files and enabled the LwIP Module.But in the http_manager.c file all gethostbyname calls throw the above error.I don't understand how the compiler can't find the function.All Files should be included correctly.Do i have to change some LwIP Settings?I know that may be a dump question, but i can't find the error.If you need some Code let me know.Thanks for your Help,Kevin

This causes a crash when invoking HAL_DMA_Abort_IT if there is no DMA used for receiving.btw is there a better place to report this?Also, does anyone know why this website is so incredibly slow?

I am selecting the microcontroller for an application that needs to implement an USB dual virtual com port (composite device with two vcom port). I would like to use the STM32F411 but i see that other people got problems trying to do it, maybe because of the few endpoints of this microcontroller. Can anybody explain me what is the situation?
