STM32 MCUs Embedded software

Protocol support: SPI, UART, USBCurrent Consumption: Ultra LowOperating Voltage: +3.3VSupporting software if any for fingerprint data sensing.

I am currently using the Nucleo G071 RB eval board. The application will transfer data to the USB port at the end of processing. I am using UCPD1 on PA10, PA9, PA8 and PB15.Do I use the STM32CubeMonitorUCPD to view this data? I am assuming I will need to jumper these UCPD1 pins to a USB cable that connects to my laptop. Is RTOS needed to use UCPD1 for this purpose?Thanks,Priya

Anyone that knows the details? Seems backwards.CubeMx generates an init-fuction for CAN which eventually calls HAL_CAN_Init(). The very first part of this function is to exit sleep-mode. As per documentation this means "syncing" - waiting for 11 idle bits.Once this has been done HAL_CAN_Init() enters init mode and configures among other things the BTR, bitrate.But does this not seem a bit odd? Syncing with the bus before knowing what bitrate to use? What bittrate is the very first HAL_CAN_Init() using to sync? The reset value of the prescaler register is 0 so It is a very high bitrate - perhaps like 3 Mbit/s.OK. So with this kind of speed perhaps no problem ever getting past that part as any reasonable actual CAN bitrate, 11 idle bits will look like many many bits, but then one actually fails doing what one is supposed to do - wait on 11 idle bits !?Additionaly,A case where this actually will be noti

Hi, I need to modify the bootloader of the STM32F427 MCU.Specifically, I need to modify the UART portion of the bootloader so that it works with RS485.This should just involve adding a control line for direction flow.So, my questions: Is the source code available for the default bootloader so that I can add this simple modification? Are there instructions for how to program the modified bootloader?Thanks

 Hello,I have problem with my project on STM32F4. I use Lwip, Freertos, and 3 TCP sockets in separate threads. The first and the second is for the modbus. The third is for the website. When the first and the second socket’s threads are in the waiting state for connection, the website gets only a part of the scripts. I have connection errors and reset errors in the web console. If I disable the first or the second socket, it works fine. The socket configuration is below. Could you tell me where is the problem? Hello,I have bought myself the STM32H743 Nucleo. Am trying to explore the environment and learn the working of parts and functions of the board. The board comes with two on-Board USB Ports. One for the ST-Link and the other is to be used as a user USB port. I am attempting to connect a USB mass storage device, say a pen drive, through the user USB provided within the board and access it through FATFS. I need to create a csv file inside the hard disk and write the Analog Input values to the USB Drive. What I have already tried is listed below :  I have gone through the Mass storage code for NUCLEO-F446ZE.Gone through the User manual tutorial.Even gone through the USB tutorial by STMicroelectronics but non of them worked. Hello!I've been working with embedded software for a while now, but managed to avoid the nitty-gritty of bootloaders most of the time. Now on my current project I have some catching up to do.We are working on top of the reference firmware for the ST25RU3993-EVAL. The bootloader here isn't executed every boot, instead it is summoned by an UART command, which fits what our application should do too. While studying the code I had some questions regarding how the bootloader is triggered. I am trying to setup USB communication with an STM32F446REIt is a custom board where:The clock source is an external 8Mhz quartzThere is a micro USB port with USB+ connected to PA12 and USB- connected to PA11The external quartz is working (I can load a firmware that just blinks a led) but I fail to enumerate the USB device with below message in the computer syslog.I am using mbed with the NUCLEO F446RE configuration, I just enabled USB in the target configuration (USE_USB_OTG_FS type)Also, I noted that if I plug the board even without a firmware that is supposed to use USB, my computer tries to enumerate the device, however it shows a different message (like it's trying to enumerate a low-speed device instead of high-speed)Do you have any idea/clue what could be going wrong?Oct 23 19:13:51 destiny kernel: [4213209.733361] usb 1-10: new full-speed USB device n

I want to use STM32F413 for my PCB design. I need USB data lines for communicating with a computer. Ideally, I would not have any oscillator on the PCB to save space. I noticed that's it's not possible to use HSI for the USB clock on CubeMX. Can I use pin PA8 as MCO to output HSI and route it to PH0 ? This way HSI and HSE are connected though the PCB. On CubeMX it seems possible, however, I don't know if it can work in reality. Are there some consideration hat I need to take to ensure this will work? I use MDK 5.32. In the debug interface - Peripherals - System Viewer - COMP window, the value of CSR is always 0 after initialization and the address of CSR is viewed as 0x40007C1C. But CSR's address is 0x4001001C in STM32F37xc.h. What's the matter?

I am trying to set the FIFO sizes for an application that uses 6 bulk IN endpoints. When I write to OTG_HS_DIEPTXF1, it appears that OTG_HS_DIEPTXF5 takes on the same value. Same for DIEPTXF6 taking on the value of DIEPTXF2, and for DIEPTXF7 taking on the value of DIEPTXF3. Writes to DIEPTXF4, 5, 6, and 7 are ignored. This is not a compiler/software bug, as I can duplicate it by simply using the memory window in my IDE to modify the registers and see duplicate values appear after the write. I didn't see this in the Errata, so I'm wondering if anyone else has had this issue?I'm using the OTG_HS peripheral of the STM32H750XBHx with an external PHY attached in HS mode. (One other note: according to the reference manual, the SVD file currently distributed with STM32CubeIDE has an incorrect address offset for OTG_HS_DIEPTXF3: it should be 0x10C, not 0x11C).

I'm trying realize with IEC61850 . I try to do GOOSE Publisher device. As I understood, GOOSE message goes to NET without any headers. I use lwip library. I found there IP_Forward functions, wich help send dirrectly my message to NET. But it also adds headers to my message. Maybe you can advice to me what kind of functions I need to use to send message without any headers to NET. Example of GOOSE Ethernet frame is here. Thanks!

Dear All.Based on HAL library, I make small project where I have USB HS with external PHY (USB3300) and CDC class. Works well. What I need is to implement Vbus sensing. This can be done only via external phy, there are some flags in registers to enable it, but I don’t know how make it working. I got a few question:1.      Can current HAL library enable vbus sensing in the USB3300 chip?2.      Is it possible to have access to the ULPI communication to setup those registers and bit manually? I'm trying to use STM32CubeMX inside the STM32CubeIDE to configure a Nuleo-413ZH board. I'm not letting CubeMX initialize the peripherals. I"ve got all my peripherals configured. Except, the FATFS table says "No solution" in the "Found Solution" field with "Detect_SDIO" set to "GPIO:Input" (it's the only choce). I've attached the .ioc file and here's a screen snip.Any ideas how to setup FATFS in this situation will be appreciated.
