STM32 MCUs Motor control

Hello everyone,I have STEVAL_ESC001V1with a CAN tranciever on it. But in example SW and in MC Workbench I've not found support of CAN protocol. Is there any example with CAN communication?

Hello, I'm using the STM32F302R8T6 Nucleo board for my motor control development. How to select edge-aligned or center-aligned PWM modes in STM 32 software. I'm using cube IDE for development. Anybody, please help with how to do this. Thank You.

I check the options for a servo stepper project - either special controllers like Trinamic - or using standard processors. Coming more from general embedded scene (including ST32F411 based grbl Controller), I would need guidance in motor control specific things beyond the basics. MCSDK looks very promising in this. But I can only find non-stepper related documentation so I wonder if MCSDK is capable to support bipolar sensored FOC scenarios at all for non-rocket-scientists. Can somebody point me to existing information about servo stepper possibilities at STM - ideally application note or tutorial ?ThanksPeter

I have motor code running on a STM32G431 MCU and am using Keil IDE with J-Link debugger. When the motor is stopped I can see timer registers updating and can inspect watch variables. I'm also have a simple uart command interface I use to start/stop the motor and read some variables.When I start the motor the Keil IDE watch window stops updating. I have it set to periodic update under the View menu but nothing updates. I can still communicate over the uart interface but the J-link seems locked out. Is this a problem with priority level settings?Also, if the motor code is already running I cannot connect with the J-link. I need to issue a command to stop the motor then I can connect the debugger and read registers or start the motor.Any suggestions? ---- Right now I am very hampered in debugging the code under these conditions. Due to some hardware restrictions I dont have any 32Bit timers available on my controller (STM32F7) at the moment. My application requires me to count upto 18bits, which is evidently surpassing the 16-bit count limit the register can handle and hence it overflows. As the header suggests, is there any way I could reliably increase my counting range (through HAL or external logic) which would not make me compromise on missing interrupts and get the job done?Really appreciate all the help.

We already have a proof of concept prototype but that was done using DC brushed motors but now we want to use BLDC motors for better efficiency and quiet operations.Ideally we want everything (listed below) to be on a single board. - Microcontroller that holds the software logic for getting & processing the sensor input - Dual channel BLDC motor controller that drives the motor - Battery management circuit - Any other circuitry that is required and that we haven't realized yet Number of Motors : 2Motor Specs: 36V, 350 W BLDC motors with Max current upto 23 ACan you suggest what parts would be required. I've been using (int32_t)NTC_GetAvTemp_C(pTemperatureSensor[0]) to read temperature but the draw back is that it is in integer deg C, I'd like a float with at least 1 digit resolution., i.e. 38.2. I'd like to use NTC_GetAvTemp_d() but don't know the definition. It is returning an int16_t value. Anyway..I'm builing a photovoltaic power application using the F334R8, but i'm having issues with HRTIM1, TIMERA/TIMERB output. Attached are scope outputs.CH1 the main power switch Drain-Source voltage, CH2 is the signal comming from the STM32F334R8 HRTIMA (or B) - which drives CH1; CH3 is the output of the high voltage side of the inverter (TIMC/TIMD) and CH4 is the current through an active clamp converter - synched with CH1...The problem is: The output from TIMA/TIMB can sometimes randomly gets higher than 100%! I've been working on BLDC motor control using STM32F302R8 with X-CUBE-SPN8. I've found there occurs wrong ADC conversion frequently. Thinking this comes from that the LFtimer period which is related to step changes and varies with motor speed, is not aligned with HFtimer which affects the PWM and ADC conversion, I added the following codes before every ADC conversion(HAL_ADC_GetValue()) in function MC_ADCx_SixStep_Bemf() and solved this problem. I am using Nucleo-F401RE to control a LED and an X-Nucleo-IHM01A1 that drives a stepper motor. The MCU receives message rxdata[3] through UART DMA Interrupt. The controlling of the LED is working correctly. However, the motor is spinning continuously without stopping when MCU receives a message to control the motor.
