If your product embeds Debug Authentication, please perform a discovery using Debug AuthenticationI tried connecting the board using the STM32CubeProgrammer and while the board is recognized correctly by ST-LINK (the serial number shows up) I still cannot connect the board because of the same error.When the issues started to occur, I was using my board normally with the usual code running when the board suddenly stopped providing power to the pins; I was using the board to power an external device using the 5 V pin, but my meter only measures about 1 V across the 5 V pin and GND and 200 mV across 3.3 V and GND.

Hello everyone,I’m currently working with the STM32WL55 and using the Ping-Pong example as a reference for my application. The example is great and helps me understand how the process scheduling works, but I want to modify it to transmit ADC data.The issue is that I cannot use the ADC properly within the example as it is. I would like to know if it’s compatible to integrate ADC readings (single-shot or interrupt-based) with this Ping-Pong structure, and what the best approach would be to read the ADC values and send them over UART or another interface without blocking the main loop or interfering with the Sub-GHz radio.Any advice or examples of integrating ADC acquisition into this Ping-Pong example would be greatly appreciated.Thank you!

Hello,I am exploring the STEVAL-25R200A, and I want to build a pollingTagDetect application, using  NFC10A1_PollingTagDetect that comes with the X-CUBE-NFC10 package, in STEVAL-25R200-STM32G0B1.ioc but i can't get it to work.When i flash the code into the steval, this prints in the com4 port:Welcome to X-NUCLEO-NFC10A1Toggling Wake Up mode ONAnd that's it, nfc tags are never detected.I made sure to update the IPs for the ones that STEVAL-25R200-STM32G0B1.ioc includes. The steval works just fine in ST25R

Hello,I am using the Nucleo STM32WB55 board and noticed that when I press the user button, the interrupt service routine (ISR) is triggered only after about 3.5–4 seconds. This delay occurs even before reaching the callback function — the ISR itself is reached late.I have not initialized or configured any BLE stack functionality; this is just a basic GPIO interrupt setup. I have also used other Nucleo boards and never experienced this kind of delay.Has anyone else encountered this issue or found a solution?Thanks,Shreyas

I am currently working with an STM32WB05N as a co processor to a STM32U5, but I think the basic flow should be the same for all WB products. But I didn't find an AN or example for it.My device is acting as a central and connecting to a (WB55 based) peripheral which uses aci_l2cap_connection_parameter_update_req. My central receives this though aci_l2cap_connection_update_req_event. So far so good.But now I want to accept the proposal with aci_l2cap_connection_parameter_update_resp using the same parameters received through the request and Min_CE_Length as well as Max_CE_Length using the same values I used for the original connection opening (and 0x01 for accept). But I get a 0x12 BLE_ERROR_INVALID_HCI_CMD_PARAMS.What am I doing wrong? (and is there example code for connection update somewhere?)

Hi,I'm working with an STM32WB5MMG. I need to use both USB and BLE. I see that there are some threads opened about problems regarding the use of both USB and BLE in the same project due to the HSI48. However, I added LL_HSEM_1StepLock(HSEM, 5) to prevent the CPU2 to disable the HSI48 oscillator when it does not use anymore the RNG IP. It was working until I add all the peripheral. We hope to have the same for other ST products. About the Typo, on the Table 1 of the RM0434, we have a reserved region between SRAM1 and SRAM2a (from 0x2000 3000 and 0x2002 FFFF) this region is included on the SRAM1 (between 0x2000 0000 and 0x2002 FFFF) so it should be mentioned if it is reserved or not g(more details needed) also the size is 180Kbytes and not 36KBytes as mentioned on the Doc.please have a look at this.Best Regards.II

Hi everyone,I'm working with a custom board based on the STM32WB55, and I'm facing a very strange issue with the Bluetooth Low Energy advertising. BLE advertising works perfectly when the board is running under debugger (SWD debug mode), wireless stack is correctly updated and option Bytes remain as programmed even after power cycling. CPU2 starts, and aci_gap_set_discoverables() returns BLE_STATUS_SUCCESS.The problem is, when I remove the debugger and simply power-cycle the board (i.e. unplug power supply usb cable and replug it), BLE advertising does NOT start.Do you have any idea of how to fix this problem?Thank you

I want to put my STM32WB05 into sleep mode and utilize the Bluetooth wakeup feature to wake it up. I have not found much information about this online, and was curious if it can be set up in the IOC or if it needs to be added manually?

I am trying to debug code for Nucleo-WL55JC1 board using sample code from the STM website.  It is the LoRAWAN_End _Node.  I complies fine and creates .elf file.  However when a try do download with the STM32Cube I get the following error: An internal error occurred during: "Launching LoRaWAN_End_Node".'com.st.stm32cube.ide.mcu.toolchain.IToolChainInfoProvider[] com.st.stm32cube.ide.mcu.toolchain.ToolChainHelper.getToolChainInfoProviders()'   Thanks for the help.

I would like to use the STM32WL33 as a radio receiver and continuously transfer all I/Q samples to my computer for further processing.Also, I want to use the highest possible IQ sampling rate (CHF_E = 0,  500k IQ samples per second = 64 Mbit/s).I've managed to configure it to IQ receiver mode, have it write samples to the databuffers in RAM and output the buffers via USART once both are full.However, I want to record more samples than would fit in the RAM and thus I have to somehow output the buffers faster than they are filled (or equally fast)This is where I've encountered a bottleneck. None of the STM32WL33's interfaces (SPI/USART/I2C/...) can transfer data fast enough, the highest I found is SPI with 32 Mbit/s. So how can I output 64 Mbit/s worth of samples?My idea would be bitbang a parallel interface on the GPIO ports and use another MCU (with a higher clock rate) to convert it to USB or some other serial interface. Hello,I am working with the STM32WL55CC (48-pin package). When I imported the official STM32CubeWL example projects from ST, I noticed that they provide both SINGLE CORE and DUAL CORE versions. But the board that these examples are listed under STM32WL55JCIX, which itself is a DUAL CORE device.However, when I create a new project in STM32CubeIDE for the same device (STM32WL55JCIX), CubeIDE always generates a Dual-Core project structure (with CM4 and CM0+ folders). There is no option to generate a Single-Core project, even though the example projects clearly include one.Also, the file structure of the official examples is very different from the structure generated by CubeIDE. Hi ST community,I wanted to develop BLE application using the nucleo stm32wb55rg and the zephyr project v4.3.0. what i did is take a nucleo stm32wb55rg board first i upgraded the FUS from the STM32Cube/Repository/STM32Cube_FW_WB_V1.23.0/Projects/STM32WB_Copro_Wireless_Binaries/STM32WB5x/stm32wb5x_FUS_fw_1_2_0.binthen after this i updated the wireless stack firmware with this one STM32Cube/Repository/STM32Cube_FW_WB_V1.23.0/Projects/STM32WB_Copro_Wireless_Binaries/STM32WB5x/stm32wb5x_BLE_HCILayer_extended_fw.bin.after this i power cycle the board, which is required for the wireless stack to load.after that i build a sample from the zephyr v4.3.0 buluetooth samples "Peripheral_dis sample"i build it for the nucleo_wb55rg board and flash it, the flash logs can be seen below.after this i connected a serial terminal to view the logs and the logs can be seen below. the zephyr is unable to communicate with the wireless stack with e

Hello,I’m new to ST boards and currently working with an STM32WB09.My goal is to make the board recognized as a BLE HID Gamepad, including an analog joystick.To get started, I used the HID Mouse example from the library.I managed to modify the HID report to match a gamepad descriptor, but I still can’t get my joystick inputs to be detected.Does anyone have any suggestions, examples, or checks I should perform regarding:reading the joystick (ADC),integrating the axes into the HID report,or the BLE configuration on the STM32WB09?Thank you in advance for your help.

I’m working on an STM32WLE5 device and I’m facing a reproducible issue when enabling Read-Out Protection level 1 (RDP = 1). When RDP = 0, everything works as expected: i can write/read RTC Backup registers, my initialization sequence behaves correctly.However, as soon as I set RDP = 1, the firmware can no longer access the backup domain: Any attempt to write Backup registers fails, even with SWD completely disconnected  The strange part: If I disconnect VBAT (short it to GND to fully drop the backup supply), everything works again — even with RDP = 1.After removing VBAT and letting the backup domain fully reset, my firmware can again access backup registers normally.This strongly suggests that the Backup Domain remains in a “protected” or “locked” state after enabling RDP, and can only be reset by removing VBAT.My problem is that we have a supercap soldered on the vbat pin, and we cannot shortcircuit it du

Hi everyone,         I’m facing an issue with power consumption on my custom PCB that uses the Wio-E5-LE module. According to the datasheet, the module should consume around 2.1 µA in sleep mode, but my board is drawing around 88 µA instead. I’ve double-checked everything and can’t find any other source of leakage.What i have already checked,Disabled all unused peripheralsConfigured all GPIOs properlyVerified there are no shorts or solder bridges on the PCBMeasured current draw of other components — none show any noticeable leakage

Hello,I'm looking to measure the power consumption of the STM32WL5MOC component on a B-WL5M-SUBG1 development board.I'm looking for the power consumption announced by the Sleep Mode datacheet (140nA - 810nA).I connected directly to JP2 to use only STM and I supply 3.6V and I measure the consumption with Otii software and an Otii Arc Pro.I measured a cosomation of 112uA, far from what I should have.Do you have a method for measuring sleep mode power consumption?Thanks for your help. 

Hello ST, We are using the STM32WLE5 controller in our product.The system always works on 1.8V. Based on demand, we switch to 3.3V and fallback to 1.8V.Our product is IoT-based, charged through solar to a supercapacitor.The main problem is that the controller is booting from the embedded bootloader even after setting boot options, which I will describe later.We require that it must boot from the user flash, not from the system bootloader, because a few GPIOs, like PA4 and PA7, used in the internal bootloader for SPI are used in our circuit, which turns on the supply of some components, which can consume a lot of power, and the power line goes down below 1.71V, which results in restarts while boot up if there is no enough charge in super capacitor.The settings that I use to boot from the user flash mentioned below,1.
