STM32 MCUs Wireless

Hello,the MRSUBG by STM32CubeMx have a mode of operation named 'Transmit Data control' (not wel descripted by the documentation or examples), when this mode is actived the PIN PA10 change in MRSUBG_TX_DATA and and the bit stream inserted in PA10 pin go straight on the radio module whidout using the buffer. Hi Champs, one of my customers develop on STM32WBA54KGU6. This SoC does not come with SMPS. Although he selects the righ reference (STM32WBA54KGU6) for code generation, SMPS seems to be used by default - he has to comment the line out form generated code to build properly. he uses the latest dev tool versions : IDE : STM32CubeIDE V1.19.0 Firmware  STM32CubeWBA : V1.7.0 is it a known issue? please note that it is not a blocking point but it still requires a post code generation control from his side to comment out the generated SMPS statement in the generated code.   Hello ST experts, I have recently taken up a LORA wireless communication project, previously the transmitter side was using ebyte's lora module based on SX1278 and the receiver side was using a combination of STM32L1 and SX1278, they have been working well at 408MHz. my work switched the receiver side to STM32WLE5J8 for better integra , I designed the PCB myself but there are some flaws. Although I could boot the chip properly, I ran into some problems.My STM32WLE5J8 can receive the data sent by the SX1278, it shows the RSSI and SNR of the received signal, but the data can't pass the CRC checksum, based on the log of the SUBGHZ-PINGPONG routine, which shows IRQ_CRC_ERROR and HDR KO. after I turned off the CRC checksum on the transmitter and receiver side, I saw my exactly what kind of error data is being received. Hi,I was testing the End Node example on a custom board equipped with a STM32WL5MOC module. However, I changed only the UART from UART2 to UART1 in platform settings. I also activate the DMA. However, I can get only "APPLICATION_VERSION: V1.3.1" on the UART terminal and no other messages. Someone knows why?Thanks.Matteo

IAR/EWARM can connect to my STM32WL55 nucleo board.  However, I get a complaint about a hardware fault during loading.  It also claimed that the STLINK firmware was old, so I decided to update that.STM32CubeProgrammer would not initially start, so following directions based on the theory that the JRT was messed up, I reinstalled.So, cube programmer now starts, but it says not connected.  There is a downward pointing arrow that I can press on without any obvious effect other than a focus box. Has anyone experienced something similar -- and of course how did you fix it? 

Hi,I have a custom board with a STM32WB5MMG module. In order to obtain the best performances, I want to use the STM32WB5MMG SMPS with a 3.3v voltage source. However, I can't find in the Cube IDE any command to activate the SMPS. Is it always activate? How can be used and activated? Thanks

I have been developing a IMU board based on the STM32WBA52KG.  I'm using STM32CubeIDE 1.15.1 with STM32WPAN firmware 1.30.0.  (I've tried using cubeide 1.16.0 with firmware 1.40.0 but was unable to get the code to compile: see this issue: https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus-wireless/ble-wrap-files-missing-after-cube-generation/m-p/700832)Despite the fact I have low power mode disabled in STM32WPAN config, it seems as though radio active events cause the sysclk frequency to double and then return to normal.  Attached is a scope trace of Timer 1 PWM output--the timer is nominally 500 Hz at 50% duty cycle (1 ms high and 1ms low).  I've verified that the timers running on different APB clocks stay synchronized to each other so this is happening higher up the clock tree, probably around sysclk.  I've also scoped the the HS

I'm developing a BLE central application on a NUCLEO-WB55RG board using the P2P_Client example as a base. I'm facing an issue where I can successfully pair with a peripheral, but the bonding information is never saved to non-volatile memory. Keep in mind I'm new to this field so it is very possible one of my steps in the process is wrong. Hello,I am looking for guidance on how to share the CRC peripheral between two modules. For instance, in our application we are using the BLE stack (for example, following this: https://wiki.st.com/stm32mcu/wiki/Connectivity:STM32WBA_BLE_STM32CubeMX#STM32CubeMX_initial_setup). We also are using the SAI interface to sample PDM microphones, and using the PDM2PCM middleware. The PDM2PCM library has something of a hidden dependency on the CRC being enabled.My question is - will the two modules conflict? I notice that in app_entry.c there is a mutex being used to control access to the CRC interface (presumably).How should I ensure that the two requirements don't clash with each other?Thank you,Jonathan

Hello We would like to evaluate your STM32WBA55G and nucleo-WBA55CG boards for a project. So we have several questions:Is it possible to stream BLE audio between two STM32WBA55G boards by taking the sound from the Mems microphone and streaming it to the pc via the USB port (We could see the live audio of the audacity) If so, what examples should we use in your codes?Is it possible to do the same thing but having the nucleo connected to the PC and which to recover the audio in BLE. If I use STM32WBA65I-DK1 board, by enabling or using UAC (USB), can I stream multiple audio files for auracast application, like each song for each channel or subgroup.

I’m developing a Zigbee end-device app on STM32WB55 (Zigbee_OnOff_Client_SED), following ST’s Zigbee guide, but my debugger keeps showing “Target is not responding, retrying…” . I disabled low power (CFG_FULL_LOW_POWER=0 / CFG_LPM_SUPPORTED=0), set Connect under reset in CubeIDE, and updated the ST-LINK, but the issue persists and the node won’t join my network. Could this be the CPU2 wireless firmware (RFD vs FFD) or a FUS/Option Bytes problem? If anyone has a proven recovery checklist (mass erase under reset, correct CPU2 image, OB settings, etc.) or other tips to make SWD reliable and get the device to join, I’d really appreciate it.

Hello,I download STM32WBAxx_DFP 2.1.0 in https://www.keil.arm.com/packs/stm32wbaxx_dfp-keil/overview/ There seems no FLM drivers available to program OTP and OPT zone. 

 I can update fine to FUS version 2.1, and start it, but then when I try to program the BLE_stack_full_fw I get the following error message:Error: FUS_ERROR_INVALID_OB: Option bytes and UFB values do not match.Error:Old Firmware delete failedI have an STM32WB55CEU6 and I'm programming the stack with starting address 0x0805C000, per the release note instructions.Do I need to change some option byte values before trying to program the stack?  If so, what?Here is the end of updating the FUS and the problem programming the stack:

I have been using the BLE_Ota released binary in an unmodified form in my products for years.   Now I want to modify it for use on a product that doesn't have an LSE crystal.   I have successfully updated my own application to run on HSE only, but now I need to modify the BLE_Ota to do the same.I would like to step through the BLE_Ota code with the debugger, but I am running into the error "Break at address "0x800fd70" with no debug information available, or outside of program code."  That address is past the locations of BLE_Ota, and into my own application code.  I have tried a few things to get debugging to work, and I've run out of ideas.Things I have tried:Made a new workspace in the BLE_Ota area so that the relative include references will work.   The code now compiles.Made a new debug build configuration, with Optimize for debug (my usual optimize-none makes the code too big), a

Hi All,I am working on B-WL5M-SUBG1 hardware.I compiled the example "C:\...........\STM32Cube\Repository\STM32Cube_FW_WL_V1.3.0\Projects\NUCLEO-WL55JC\Examples\PWR\PWR_STANDBY" to  measure the current consummed in standby mode and I am measuring the current using STLINK_V3PWR.I removed JP2 and connect "OUT" from STLINK_V3PWR to the pin that supply STM32WL5MOC and the GND of STLINK_V3PWR to GND of STM32WL5MOC.I got current of about 2.3mA in standby mode instead of  less than 1uA as specified in the datasheet and I discovered that the 5V_PWR LED(LD4 Green) was ON.I am just wondering how power got to the 5V_PWR LED or if I am missing something, has anyone done this in the past?
