I am considering using a STM32WB55CEU6 in a project that requires a camera module and 802.15.4 connectivity. The chosen camera module outputs data using a 8bit parallel interface (HSYNC/VSYNC/PXCLK). The Pixel clock is 6MHz.Can the STM32WB55CEU6 DMA from GPIO?Can the STM32WB55CEU6 DMA from GPIO @ at a data rate of 6MBytes/sec?Can the STM32WB55CEU6 be configure in such a way that the DMA transfers can be synchronised on HSYNC/VSYNC assertions?An link to app note and code examples would also really help.Many thanksJohn

I am working on a project based on the BLE Beacon application in the P-NUCLEO-WB55.Nucleo board. After broadcasting for some time, it is stopped and the system enters successfully Standby mode, from which it will wake up with the RTC.The RTC wakes up CPU1 as expected but the program gets stuck after the initialization. After some debugging, I think the problem is that CPU2 does not enter Run mode, instead it stays at Stop mode waiting for a wake-up source (cfr. I have created a BLE server with required services. ( I have verified the data like ble server name, RSSI in smart phone which is treated as a client) . and i wrote a ble client program in stm32wb nucleo USB dongle, it is able to scan and connect to the ble server. But i want access BLE server name, RSSI, Tx power and battery level in BLE client. How can i read those??

I am trying the zigbee apps in 'STM32Cube_FW_WB_V1.7.0'. However the firmware upgrade is never successful. I followed the Release Note but i can't get FUS state. I have tried with FUS 1.02 and 1.1 but it doesn't work. I thought maybe FUS is already up to date, so I tried zigbee firmware. It doesn't work, although I believe that I entered correctly the address in the binary table. I can still connect the nucleo board via stlink, but my PC no longer recognizes the USB dongle. Apologies if this has already been answered elsewhere, I had a search and all I could find was an old discussion about TrueStudio not doing it and it didn't really go anywhere.Simple question, is there a way to setup the option bytes (BOOT0,1, etc.) within STM32CubeIDE? I know it can be done in the CubeProgrammer and ST-Link, etc. but since you can program the chip from the IDE, it seems a sensible place to set the options.If it affects the answer, I am using the STM32WB55 on my own board.Thanks,Andrew

To bring a design to production I need to determine which FUS version is installed.In this design I do not have access to the USB/UART Bootloader, I only have SWD and UART on alternate pins.On a processor on which I manually installed FUS 1.1.0 I successfully read the FUS version by calling SHCI_C2_FUS_GetState twice to ensure that FUS is actually running and then reading memory location 0x20030030.On 0.5.3 my program hangs during C2 core initialization (I can handle this, no answer is also an answer)On 1.0.2 I get 0x00010001 as a result, which does not match the expected value of 0x01000200On 1.1.0 I get the expected value of 0x01010000(all values as described in STM32Cube_FW_WB_V1.7.0/Projects/STM32WB_Copro_Wireless_Binaries/STM32WB5x/Release_Notes.html)

Would it be possible to already provide the SVD file for the STM32WL family? It would be very useful to be able to already prepare some work for when the chip becomes widely available.

Hi I have a custom made PCB with a STM32WB55CGU6. It is normally programmed via USB DFU mode using the USB_DP and USB_DM of the microcontroller. I dont know why but it is unable to be detected by my computer as it is unrecognizable with an error of code 43 as shoiwn in the diagram below. i am using stm32wb55 nueclo board, and i created a ble service for read, write and notify. In write and notify services i am able to send the data(20 bytes) to the client. but i want to send upto 100 bytes. How can i extend payload size?

Hey,APP_TX_DUTYCYCLE doesn't really do its job. I set it to 1s and my messages are being sent so that it always skips one. Example:1st message sent, 3rd message sent, 5th mesage sent..Upon increasing the DC parameter it works fine. What is causing this? I have turned duty cycle off so that isn't the problem. Message's TOA should be around 120ms according to LoRa calculator, so I should be able to lower APP_TX_DUTYCYCLE even more.Also when sending 70 bytes of payload or above it sends data only once and then never again.

Not sure if this is the best place to ask, but essentially I want to modify the LoRaWAN end-node example for STM32L476 using SX1262 transceiver to work with an STM32L433 mcu, initially making use of a Nucleo-L433RC-P board with a transceiver module wired to it, eventually shifting this to a custom board with STM32L433.Have done something similar before for the STM32L073 processor, although that was more straightforward as that mcu is one of the example ones provided in the STM LoRaWAN code.

Hello! I'm working with the P-Nucleo-WB55 development kit (STM32WB55 chip) and was trying to setup a project for my first time using STM32CubeIDE. My application is going to want to start up, initialize the peripherals and sensors, then go to sleep and wait for an interrupt to wake it up. The initial setup has it powered up for 0.1 ms and then in "Stop 2" for 0.9 ms. From a power perspective, that makes sense but for just getting started, I'm concerned I might select the wrong settings and not be able to develop on this properly (in case my I2C signals can't be sent out before it goes to sleep mode, etc). Is there a recommended setting for getting started (possibly being on all the time and then change to low power mode later on)? Is there a better way to set it up for my application?I think I'm just a little bit intimidated by the power settings initially and don't want to cause issues with learning the project if I choose the wrong setting

I have been trying to get the stm32wb nucleo working with the st7789 lcd but have only observed strange behavior. I have successfully gotten it to work with the stm32f103c8t6 using the code found here. When CPOL=0 on the stm32f103 the screen does not work but on the stm32wb when CPOL=0 the screen will initiate and commands can be sent to it successfully. However when I try to send a frame nothing happens. I have also checked that the DC pin is working as it should. My employers have made a custom board based on STM32WB55. I have developed some software but need to program this to flash. I have access to USART1 and BOOT0 pin. (I also have access to SWD, SWCLK, JTDI, JTDO). I thought that pulling BOOT0 high would enable me to talk to the bootloader over the USART but I get no response. I have tried the ST programmer and have also tried talking from my C# app by sending 0x7F at various baudrates to see if I at least get an ACK. Any help please.

I am currently playing around with LoRaWAN and TTN and try to getting SX1276 Modem (nice RF) to work.I implemented on STM32l4 board. When OTAA join starts the device gets registered on the TTN console but i never receive the join accept back on my node. So with both MCU’s the join hangs up after EV_JOINING event.I fiddled around with the timer settings and also change in joining time but it can't joined to node and continuously open Rx window1 and Rx window2 but Rx timeout occurs.But ABP is properly work.Could it be possible that this is a problem on the gateway’s side? Or are there any other possibilities that cause those problem? (In the forum i also found problems/solutions regarding the datarate in the RX1 and RX2 windows that weren’t LoRa compliant but according to the change log they resolved that a while ago so it couldn’t be the source of my problem).

Good Day.I want to put my stm32wb device to sleep standby mode. and wakeup using RTC after specific time.I am following the PWR_STANDBY_RTC example which works.I would like to sleep for up to 12 hours and would like to use RTC_WAKEUPCLOCK_CK_SPRE_16BITS and not RTC_WAKEUPCLOCK_RTCCLK_DIV16 since the latter only allows up to 33 seconds.I am sucessfuly using RTC_WAKEUPCLOCK_RTCCLK_DIV16 but I am puzzled by value.for example if I set up counter to: HAL_RTCEx_SetWakeUpTimer_IT(&hrtc, 60, RTC_WAKEUPCLOCK_CK_SPRE_16BITS);it wakes up roughly 16 minutes later. I have tried various values but it seems a rough value is i must divide my second by 16 to get more or less correct time.For exampleHAL_RTCEx_SetWakeUpTimer_IT(&hrtc, 60/16, RTC_WAKEUPCLOCK_CK_SPRE_16BITS);Gives me roughtly 60 second wakeup time.Help would be greatly app

Dear Support,I'm using the SX1272 in lora mode in my application. I have both products that communicates together. They are configured in Rx single with a symbol timeout equal to 1000. When no communication the rxtimeout is about 1023ms. But when the both products communicate together, the rx timeout is less than 100ms. I received a rx timeout even if a rx done is occured. When I receive a RXdone, I force the Sx1272 in sleep mode. I sent and receive message every 300ms, so I should not have rxtimeout. Why a rx timeout is occured and why the timeout is less than 1000ms? I measured between the mode rx started and the rx timeout. Please help me to understand this phenomen. Best regards

I also want it to have an USB CDC interface.I created a project on cubeMX, added my external oscillator (32MHz), activated the USB device under "connectivity", then the Communication Device Classs under "MiddleWare". I went to generate this project, compile under Keil and program my chip. Connected it to my PC, seems to work, Windows recognizes it as COM3. Note that my project is still blank at this point, I did not write a single line of code.Then back to CubeMX, I added the Bluetooth part: HSEM in "System Core", RTC in "Timers", RF in "Connectivity", STM32_WPAN in "MiddleWare". That last option added automaticaly "Sequencer" and "Tiny_LPM" in "Utilities" (I would've added them anyway).Code generation, but this time Keil (my IDE) gives me errors: CubeMX generated some files 2 times in my project, see below.I get it compi

I'm developing an application which uses both USB mass storage and BLE. I've started by building two separate applications using STM32CubeMX:A USB mass storage application communicating with a microSD card over SPI1A BLE P2P serverBoth of these work fine on their own. But if I build an application that includes both components, the USB mass storage device will not enumerate properly.Initially, I discovered that in the full application, HAL_PCD_IRQHandler got called, but it never fell through to PCD_EP_ISR_Handler. This makes me think the mass storage endpoints have not been configured properly.I've also tackled the problem a different way--by systematically eliminating parts of the BLE initialization to determine what is interfering with USB mass storage.
