STM32 MCUs Wireless

Hi guys,I try to establish connection between two STM32L072CZY6TR with the programme ping pong include in the I-CUBE LRWAN1 Package.The goal is that one board work with the external battery and that the other board is connected with the computer.I read all the datasheet of this board but i don't arrive to modify correctly the programme and the board to make the board execute the program in continue and independently.Thanks for taking your time to answer at my question.Tim

Hi all,I am modifing the Ping Pong example of the I-CUBE-LRWAN; I am working with a L073RZ nucleo board and the SX1272MB2xAS LoRa shield.I was performing some experiment (changing spreading factor, code rate, bandwidth) and the example with SF = 11 and SF = 12 doesn't work on the receiver side.I did not change anything in the example provided by ST: only the spreading factor, which work for SF = 7, 8, 9 and 10.Someone with the same issue?

I read mac_802_15_4_api_wb.c and Inside it mentioned "Check STM32WBxx_SW_Architecture_and_Design.pdf for further information".I searched this file, but I could not get it.So,where can I get STM32WBxx_SW_Architecture_and_Design.pdf ?

I have a B-L072Z LoRa dev board that I am unable to reprogram. ST-Link drivers are installed and the device communicates to my PC terminal via the virtual COM port without issue. When I attempt to flash the board with a new binary, it appears to reprogram (file begins to copy and RG LED flashes); however, once completed, the default example is still running on the board. I tried disconnecting and resetting the board a few times. I also compiled the binary again and tested programming another board just to make sure there was nothing wrong with the file.I have several of the discovery kits and they all reprogram seamlessly through the ST Link except this one particular unit.Has anyone else seen this issue? Any suggestions?

Enable notification from peer.2. From peer write data to characteristic.3. When EVT_BLUE_GATT_WRITE_PERMIT_REQ event raised, async or sync change characteristic value by aci_gatt_update_char_value.Result: in peer, notification will come 2 times. If change characteristic value by aci_gatt_update_char_value after delay, first notify came at once after write, second notify came after delay.How can this be explained?

I'm relatively new to designing embedded systems and mobile development and am trying to integrate my ST Nucelo Board with an iOS application. I've been using the profiles app and its been working well for what I need, but I'd like to be able to make my own app that is more user friendly for my purposes. It would just be really nice to see how the BLE - iOS integration works behind the scenes so I have a starting point for my app. If anyone know if/where I could download the source code that would be very appreciated!

I had STM32WB55CGU7 with original 0.5.3 FUS and stack. While testing with USB bootloader, I did `./STM32_Programmer_CLI -c port=usb1 -startwirelessstack` after this chip won't enter bootloader mode anymore. If I try to run example application BLE_Beacon it enters NMI_Handler immediately after starting CPU2.

I write own firmware using P-NUCLEO-WB55.Nucleo as test platform.Testing fw with peers with bluetooth versions above 4.0 (4.2 or 5.0), all works fine, but when I took Nexus 7 2013 as peer with BLE 4.0, disconnection occurred with GATT error 133 (0x85).After a long research and analysis of working examples from SDK, I understood and checked it by experience, that if the systyck is 64MHz, then in this case such an error is issued. By the way, all examples from SDK operate at frequency 32MHz.Question: Has this situation been verified by STM engineers? Maybe can not use the frequency 64MHz when using the BLE ?Thanks.

STM32WB55 if do not use DLE, then SHCI_C2_BLE_Init return errorHi !If in structure SHCI_C2_Ble_Init_Cmd_Packet_tset ExtendedPacketLengthEnable = 0 (disable DLE),then result of calling SHCI_C2_BLE_Init() is error = 72. I have CM0 running the BLE_Stack_fw and have compiled and loaded the BLE_HeartRateFreeRTOS firmware, but am not able to see the device show up when I am looking for it on BLE.I am able to run the BLE_HeartRate example without FreeRTOS without any issues. Has anyone been able to make this work with FreeRTOS?

How can use st-link as a uart for STM32L072CZ ......?We have CMWX1ZZABZ-091 LoRa module, this module contain STM32L072CZ mcu.When we connect this module using STLINKv2, com port is not showing.I could not able to do programming to this module. I have tried debugging some of the BLE example projects for the Nucleo-WB55, specifically the BLE_HeartRateFreeRTOS and BLE_TransparentMode examples. During debug, the erase, program, and verify steps all complete successfully, but then shortly after, I start seeing "Target is not responding, retrying..." message and finally an error message about not being able to read the target. When I try to reprogram the device either through the debugger or STM32CubeProgrammer it fails saying "No device found on target."What is going wrong? How do I recover the board?The only way I've been able to recover is to copy a .bin I compiled from the Zephyr project for the WB55 to the ST_LINK drive and let it program that way.The CM0 is running the stm32wb5x_BLE_Stack_fw.bin.

I'm trying to flash the wireless co-processor binaries onto my evaluation board to run one of the Bluetooth test programs. I'm following the procedure provided in the release notes of the wireless co processor binaries directory and it says to run the fwdelete command to clear the BLE stack firmware. However I'm getting the error shown in the attached screenshot. "Error: Could not execute fwdelete command, Security extension not instantiated"Any help in getting around this would be greatly appreciated.

We are working on B-L072Z LRWAN1. We are trying to read ADC. We set pins ADC and make the adjustments on CubeMX than import code to SystemWorkbench. But we got 3 types of error;1- Sometimes when we debug the code we got OpenOCD child process termination error. I search it on internet and I found some codes (like DBGMCU) to add but I dont know where to add this codes.Also I am confused about sometimes it doesnt get error like this even we change nothing.2- Second error there is no error at debug step but we dont see adc values I mean we always see 0 value at adc expression.3-Third error is Examination failed, GDB will be halted. I dont know anything about this.PLEASE HELP US!!!!

Is there some kind of example of using stm32WB in the same way as HM-10 BLE.  I need to communicate between controller and mobile phone. The simplest solution seems to be serial communication. Maybe someone have any example How to read and write value to custom Characteristick in service mode from code ? I saw an example but I am able to exchange only 2 bytes per transmission

It looks like ST only provides bin file to controls Radio, even reference manual also doesn't mention too much on the Radio system. I am wondering if there is any way to log all PHY payload of a PAN coordinator? Does anybody have experience on this?The reason I want to do so because I want to learn low level knowledge of 802.15.4 protocol.Thank you!

Hi Team,We are using STM32L072 Discovery kit LoRa module for reading CCS811 sensor over I2C peropheral. The Hardware Id (Deivce id) of the sensor is not able to read as the data line does not contain ACK signal at the end. We are using HAL_I2C_Master_Transmit and HAL_I2C_Master_Receive fucntions for I2C communication. Kindly suggest us, how can we proceed to resolve this issueThanking youArun
