STM32MP157 has a M4 core, so I am asking questions here in MCU section although the chip is belong to MPU. What I am trying to do is using M4's SPI4 to receive data at throughput of 20.6Mbits/sec, basically each SPI transition has 10.5KB block data, and each second, there are 240 transactions. Currently I am using two STM32MP157-DK2 boards and running the modified M4 core example code of SPI DMA demo. The readme.txt file from the demo has attached. what I found out is, when SPI master side clock set to be 32MHz (hspi4.Init.BaudRatePrescaler = SPI_BAUDRATEPRESCALER_2), the slave side code crash, but it runs ok at 16MHz ((hspi4.Init.BaudRatePrescaler = SPI_BAUDRATEPRESCALER_4). With logic analyzer, I can see the slave side works for a while, and then MISO became all 0, and from LED flashing pattern I would see that slave side's callback of SPI transaction is not triggered anymore. Unfortunately at this moment, I haven't figure out what's proper setup for STLink to work with this board

 I've been using some of the routines (numerical integration of ODEs using B-S routine with polynomial extrapolation) for years on Microsoft C++, with great success. However, when I even include the nr.h file, I get errors saying that "template" is an unknown type. Suggestions?

I've just receive an info about STM32MP1 & Linux hands-on workshop. Once again, there is no location at Poland. Is there any plans to organize this kind of workshop in the nearest future in Warsaw or any other city of Poland?

Forgive my ignorance, but could anyone recommend an IDE which can interface with STM32MP157C-DK2 and allow to write, compile, upload and debug both Linux application code and M4 code on the chip? Something which does not cost around $500 per month would be awesome. Thanks a lot for your input!

Hi, I use two touch panels, one is ft5306 and another is tsc2007. These are under same i2c bus, the i2c2 controller.The ft5306 use PG8 as interrupt line. The tsc2007 use PI8 as interrupt ine. Hi, I use STM32CubeProgrammer to download file into dk2 board. I am confuse about the tsv file. Could you give more detail this file and programming steps description? How can i modify it to download files into my custom board. And I can not found the AN5275 file.Could you support it?

HI, I needs use timers2 to enable the pwm function. Then it will used as pwm-backlight for LCD. I wasn't known how to write the dts file. Could you show me some example code on this function?

Hi everyone, I designed a custom board . It use 24MHz crystal instead of oscillator with stm32mp157. Now, I follow the wiki page to modify the clk_hse with "st,bypass;" in file arch/arm/dts/stm32mp157a-dk1-u-boot.dtsi .But the board always can not boot up. Hello dear ST community,I try to test FreeRTOS on the STM32MP1 for the Cortex-M4 and I encounter a problem: I've got the following warning: "When FreeRTOS is used, it is strongly recommended to use a HAL timebase source other than the Systick" Ok, but when I try to select the systime base in the tab Pinout under SYS, the selection of TIM* is in light grey and so not available...Is there any solution ? I have this problem on win10 and ArchLinux. What Android Version do you support ? 3. From where i can download the Android BSP ?4. Dear all,how can the Cortex-M4 MCU (bare metal or RTOS) exchange data fast with the A7-Linux system? Can the M4 access the DDR RAM of the Linux system, like the PRU on the Beaglebone can do? In the datasheet, there is a connection between the AHB bus and the AXI bus, maked as asynchronous, so it looks like there is a DMA channel for this.I could not find an example code or project, showing a fast data exchange between the memories of M4 and A7. Does ST provide an example for this? Thanks,Michael

What is the issue with the STM32MP157C-DK2 launch?I try to get this board for quite some time now.The supplier (farnell) has it on stock, but they say that they can't deliver because some paperwork is missing... it requires US re export license CCATS.I try to buy this from th EU(Ro), isn't ST a European company, why **** an US export license is needed, and why is this not available?

I test the prebuilt image on dk2 board. Sometimes the GUI application on MIPI LCD, and other time on HDMI. I checked the datasheet, HDMI and MIPI use same LTDC conctoller. So I am confused, Does it support same time display on HDMI and MIPI? If doesn't support, how to switch HDMI and MIPI ?

Hi, everyone, I use STM32MP157C-DK2 on my macos(Mojave) laptop. I saw other threads the stlink can not install some driver on macos. but I can not see any /dev/tty.* device, Does I missing some config thing?

Is the USB controller in MP chips same as in F7 (Tensilica) or compatible?Does it support connection of devices thru a full speed hub?Does it support OTG mode?Thanks,Pavel A.
