STM32 MPUs

Hi,I'm planning to buy an STM32MP1 discovery kit (when available) and I'm wondering how to get access to the distribution package. I read on wiki.st.com that I have to request these rights to my ST support contact but I can't found out how to do it.Thanks in advance

I downloaded Yocto_SDK Software Version- 1.0.0 for STM32MP151C. The environment setup file name is - "environment-setup-cortexa7t2hf-neon-vfpv4-openstlinux_weston-linux-gnueabi". Does it mean that this SDK is tailored for Wayland implementation? We intend to use raw framebuffer device. As of now we have no plans of using X11 or Wayland. Can we use this SDK?

Hello,until now, all STM32 datasheets do not specify JTAG/SWD interface characteristics except for STM32H7: 6.3.33 JTAG/SWD interface characteristics.The JTAG/SWD interface characteristics should be specified.

Posted on February 06, 2018 at 05:31I'm wondering if its possible to port the linux serial port (source code) to an STM32 platform with FreeRTOS. I realize that there exists a FreeRTOS CLI (Command Line Interface) implementation but I find it quite limited. What I'm looking for is the versatility of the linux console in regards to command handling (input and output) and echoing. At the moment I'm working on developing a terminal from scratch but not sure if that's the best way#linux #serial-port #console

Posted on June 25, 2017 at 21:18Hi !!!I am working on can-bus project with embedded linux environment. i tried porting linux on f4 discovery (f429) and the can bus pin wouldn't work on the machine some one said that i needed to cut C53 capacitor in order to use canbus . then i tried it on f407 discovery and canbus worked but i couldn't port linux on it. :(So Iam looking at two f7 discovery machine 1. stm32F746G DISCOVERY2. stm32F769I DISCOVERYCould anyone tell me if it is possible to port linux on stm32f7 discovery machine along with can bus pin enabled.if it is possible,which one should i choose ???thank you :)#embedded #stm32 #linux #can #canbus

Posted on May 26, 2017 at 16:25 Hello, I am having problems communicating with my NUCLEO-F767ZI board over the virtual COM port on Linux. The board uses USART3 to communicate via the ST-Link USB port with the PC. The ST-Link connects fine to the PC on device /dev/ttyACM0 and I can program it fine. I can even mount its disk partition as a mass storage device. I am using the re-routing of printf() to the USART interface to output debug text, as proposed in the ST examples, and this works fine on a Windows PC. On a Linux machine however, I don't get the output. I have tried 'screen' to open a serial console, as well as an Arduino IDE serial console, no luck. I have added udev rules for the ST-Link device in /etc/udev to be able to access the device without being root. I can work with other, Arduino-compatible boards over the same /dev/ttyACM0 device just fine. Does anyone have experi
