A new version of STM32CubeMonitor-RF has been released to fix some issues related to BLE OTA feature.The points covered by this release are :115533 and 117927 : During the OTA update, issue in the ACI_GAP_START_GENERAL_DISCOVERY_PROC command, change address type to public device address115760: During the OTA update, when Optimize MTU size box is checked, download is stopped after the exchange of MTU size. I am receiving 32bit samples from an external ADC via SPI (DMA) on the STM32U5 (NUCLEO board) at a rate of 51200 samples/sec. Does the ST-Link v3e provide an interface that should allow me to reliably stream these to my PC for further anlayis/validation? I've tried using UART over VCP but the error rate was too high. I've been trying to use STM32CubeMonitor - in direct mode I only managed 18600 samples/sec or 595kbps, and I haven't been able to get snapshot mode working at all.The v3e debugger is USB HS, correct? I'm just not sure how to actually achieve anywhere close to that speed.

I'm trying to log my data in a .csv file, using the STM32CubeMonitor v1.4.0.I'm configuring my ST processing node as follows: Sadly, it produces .csv with no data in them (see next screenshot).I also tested the same setup with the .stcm, and it worked. Am I missing something? I have instrumented my code as per the documentation: added dataacq.c and dataacq.h, called DumpTrace(). I do not receive any errors in STM32CubeMonitor however msg.payload.data contains only x values when I use snapshot mode. When I use direct mode there are y values. What could cause this?

We are trying to sample a 50Hz to 200Hz signal at 50Khz rate, using stm32H7 micro controller, ADC-DMA mode is used. Tried to plot the wave in cube monitor by accessing the corresponding variable. the issue is 50Hz waveform is not reproduced properly, while if the signal frequency is reduced to 1Hz, the waveform is plotted and reproduced perfectly. Till 5Hz the waveform looks fine. Beyond that the waveform is not proper. Tried changing the sampling custom sampling frequency in Cube Monitor beyond 50kHz. But looks like no change. If we need plot signals till 200Hz, how this can be done. We need to sense and plot around 12 ADC channels. Need suggestions, if any settings to be changed in cube monitor or IDE. Tq

After install node-red-contrib-line-messaging-api.I closed STM32CubeMonitor and open it again.It appears an error dialog box as attached picture.I tried to uninstall it and then install it again.It still fails.

Hi,I want to understand fundamentally how the STM32CubeMonitor is able to monitor my memory and the tradeoffs of using such software.Is there some documentation on the topic? I can't find anything.How does the atomicity work? Is the core stopped while the st-link is reading memory? In wiki i read about using "Single value" node for variables visualization in text frames like "Numeric" node and it working fine for it. But i cant to force to work it with "Chart" node. How it can be done?

Hello. I have "variables" node, that links to .elf file in my project in STM32CubeIDE. The project is developing now. So i want to automatically updating the node every time i build the project. How it can be done?

I bought an X-NUCLEO-LPM01A that works very well on windows 8 with the STM32 Cube Monitor-Power software. I had to put the driver STSW-STM32102. Then, I tried on Windows 10. However, with Windows 10, it is written that this driver (STSW-STM32102) should not be installed because it is natively included in windows 10. But, the STM32 Cube Monitor-Power software cannot communicate with the board... I had to download the driver STSW-STM32102 made for win8 despite it being discouraged. It works on win10 only with the Win8 driver (for me at least).Is it normal ? Thank you

I am trying to create a simple guitar tuner using FFT but currently I am stuck at getting the correct ADC value.When I tried passing 10Hz sine wave into my MCU, this is what I got from CubeMonitor which looks fine to me. This is the graph from the value I got from IDE after pausing in debug which looks nothing like result from CubeMonitor. I am currently using the STM32F411E-DIS

Hi everyone.   I'm facing some issues when trying to define STM32CodeMonitor v1.3.0 or v1.4.0 as service on boot on Ubuntu 20.04 Desktop version.   I'm used to Node-RED and there is a procedure to set it as service on boot quite easy and stable to implement here.   I have already seached on STM32CubeMonitor wiki and here at forum for some procedure but won't found any solution. There is a way to define STM32CubeMonitor as service on boot already documented by ST?

If the Elf file (executable) has been modified, CubeMonitor does not recognize the changes like STM Studio and the user has to open every single variable node and click on edit exe config node. After this, the addresses has been updated. This is very buggy because the user have the wrong addresses and the measurements are corrupted. If you stop the acquisition and change the group on the dashboard all the graphics are cleared and the measurements have been gone. If you have on dashboard more groups, then to start/stop acquisition you have always to change the group. If you want to have in every group a start stop acquisition button like STM studio, then you have to implement for every group two new button nodes. That means a lot of waist of time and confusing flows.Subflows and switch nodes does not have a search ability, so if you want to filter a variable you have to now exactly the name or to copy paste the name. That is a very big waist of time.

Hello everyone.When setup a fresh setup with fresh Ubuntu 20.04 Desktop or Windows 10 Pro and fresh STM32 CubeMonitor 1.3.0 or even 1.4.0, the Manage Palette is not availabe at STM32 CubeMonitor Editor.As workaround, install node-red with NPM and NodeJS according to NODE-RED website, fix this issue.This is an expected behaviour or I'm missing something during STM32 CubeMonitor installation?

Hello everyone.I'm currently using STM32CubeMonitor in an industrial point of view, developing and implementing TEST machines connecting STM32 uC to PLC and/or other data software layers.I'm used to Node-RED, so using STM32Cube Monitor is not an issue to us, but this is not true.When exporting a flow at stm32cubemonitor and import thar flow on the same machine or other machine running STM32CubeMonitor, the dashboard widjets, formats, colors and other settings changes.... but not in a systematic way. It can occur or not...Has workaround, if copy the flows.json file from (linux) /.STMicroelectronics/stm32cubemonitor/flows.json and replace the current file for the new on and reboot stm32cubemonitor, everything works fine as expected.This is a very annoying issue and does not occurs on native Node-RED....We cannot trust on import and export flows functionalities on STM32CubeMonitor but can trust on Node-RED :\

In the hardware requirements for the STM32CubeMonitor it is mentioned that an “STM32 target board“ is required. (wiki)Does that mean that the monitor is not compatible with J-Link and J-Link OB and for example an STM32L433CC ?

If you add a project folder, the program finds firmware.elf, but does not find variables in this file.This is a working project, stm32f030 with this firmware is on my desk and works.For the experiment, I started CubeMonitor under sudo, I thought, maybe the program does not have permissions to access the file, I gave permissions to the file for everyone, but this did not solve the problem.Does this problem have a solution?
