STM32CubeMonitor (MCUs)

hello everyone,I switch direct mode to snap mode,and add relevant C and H files.But Acquisition mode can't change snap mode. Variable list can't find "g_traceHeader"which may be my operation error ?

I use the CubeMonitor 1.5 to log and analyze an int32 variable in an STM32L4 controller.I need to get a new value every 500us, so I use a custom sampling frequency of 2000 Hz. For some reason the signal is not sampled reliably in 500us intervals. It does work for some period of time. After that the logging skipps one or several samples before continuing with a 500us sample period. Sometimes 10 or more samples are skipped.I use an ST-Link with an SWD frequency of 4.6 MHz, so I don't see how the SWD bandwidth could be limitting. 4 Byte with 2 kHz sampling frequency requires only 64 kBaud.Is there anything I can do to get a more reliable and fast readout of STM32 variables?PS: That the timestamp is only stored in ms resolution is not helpful either, it would be a huge improvement if the timestamp could be stored with higher resolution (at least 100us steps). I use logging to csv in the "myVariables" processing node.

Hi team, I downloaded 1.6.0 today from the website and confirmed that it fixed my previous issues with brackets in variable names. I see that you also changed the delimiter to commas, which I appreciate since it will now open in excel. What is sort of a bummer is that variables in a sequential loop sampling frequency may start at different times for some reason. It makes it difficult to align data to a timestamp. I tried to do a sampling frequency of 0.1Hz to see if that would align them better, but it failed to make a CSV at all. I'd prefer sequential loop, but each entry for rows that don't yet have data could be a #NAN or a 0, I don't really care which, but the 1.5.0 put them in as a 0. I then can sort the column by timestamps and filter to just one variable. Copy all of the Y axis values for that variable filtered and put it into a new sheet. hello ,I cannot seem to plot any variables when initiating start acquisition , I am using the StLink v2 mini programmer ,even blinked the programmers led using STM32CubeMonitor's interface to double check connections ,using stm32cubeide as my IDE . What I noticed is that my listed variables seem to be grayed out for some reason as I have not come across this problem in tutorials and nobody seems to even address that this issue could arise , In my stm32cubeMx project I used Serial wire as Debug instead of Trace Asynchronous SW . Can someone please point out my mistake ? below is the project snapshot with grayed out variables

I use X-NUCLEO-LPM01A. Window 11 and CubeMonPwr-Win 1.1.1.When I plug in USB, PC shows USB Serial Device cannot start (code 10).Do you have any solution for this? Thanks

The code is a basic blinking LED and a free counter variable. The code runs well on the board. The list of variables is ok in STM32CubeMonitor.Thank you

Hello, I am currently having a problem with a float / double variable, involved in a Timer interrupt, within a Nucleo H743ZI2 MB1364E.Considering the variable ‘double test_fluctuation_variable’, declared at the very top of the main.c, this variable is updated (and hold constant) inside a timer function as:void HAL_TIM_PeriodElapsedCallback(TIM_HandleTypeDef *htim) { test_fluctuation_variable = (double) 2.0; … }Depending on the initialization value of this variable, two cases are observed in the debug mode:* In the case ‘double test_fluctuation_variable = 0’, the variable unexpectedly fluctuates: see video ‘STM32H7_fluctuation_with_ZeroInit’ of the debug mode attached;* In the case ‘double test_fluctuation_variable = 0.1’, the variable remains stable to the expected assignation: see video ‘STM32H7_constant_with

Hello, the question was already posted by another user ("how to access public variables in a base class"), but never answered.In other words, the CubeMonitor shows only variables contained in derived class, all inherited variables are invisible. Is there a way to get around or fix this?

I want to get mass data and display all these data on STM-Studio without delay.but, Using default setting [acquisition rate is Maximum, Select "Display all data"] , I can get and display mass data with delay. To get/display mass data without delay, Waht do you recomend for me ?I will try to modification the STM-Studio that was made by Java .I will try to modification the ST-LINK. I connect a external RAM to ST-LINK not to overflow RAM and not to delayAre these charanges good idea ?please hint for me.thank you.

Good day, I am trying to get a simple "counter" variable which just increments the counter by 1 every second, to display on my Chart in Cube Monitor, and have followed the instructions given in the STMicroelectronics youtube video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pBbUH6xzUDU&ab_channel=STMicroelectronics . I confrimed that the correct .elf file has been chosen, but when I run the code, and start the acquisition, I am not seeing any values displayed on the chart. Can anyone give some advice on this please. I can add more details and screenshots if needed.

Hi,in cube monitor settings.js file there is a line  //flowFile: 'flows.json',As it is commented, the used flow file should fall back to a default.But when uncommenting it and setting to a certain file name it does nor work, it still uses stm32cubemonitor/flows.json. Is there any way to have several desktop links that each open cube monitor with a diferent flow file?Reading the node red docs this should be possible, but it seems not with cube monitorAny help is welcomePS Which is the right group for cube monitor questions?

I just want to display 10s data， but the chart records every 10s data ,,the chart display many 10 second data.

Hello everyone.I'm trying to work with STM32CubeMonitor to implement an industrial machine Life Test JIG using 12 ST-LINK v2 probes connected to STM32 microcontrollers by SWD protocol, but I'm facing very strange and anoying issues.This post will focus only on CPU critical allocation on V1.4.0.When acq node is started (only after receive start acquisition order) the process allocate 100% of one CPU core.As shown on the picture below, I'm using at the moment and for development purposes, only two ST-LINK probes, that's why "only" two cores are at 100% allocation. This does not occurs on STM32CubeMonitor V1.3.0

Hi everyone.I'm trying to secure STM32CubeMonitor Editor and UI as defined to Node-RED, but is not possible secure STM32CubeMonitor.After define a user and password at settings.js (even only for STM32 CubeMonitor) the editor and UI breaks and are simply useless. 

My node design is shown in Figure 1. The serial port input is connected to a function Fecg_raw(), as shown in the second picture.

Another computer can ping the host successfully ， but can't connect to Dashboard. My phone and ipad are the same.What should I do？​​​

I want to use STM32cubemonitor to receive serial port data, the serial port data is four channels. And draw the four-channel data.I can't find any relevant examples and don't know the implementation to split the data ...

I was using STM32CubeMonitor v1.30 on Ubuntu 20.04 without any problems.After upgrading to v1.4.0 my previously working flows no longer capture any data.My ST-Link V3 probe shows green on the "acq in" and "aqc out" nodes..When I click on Start Acquisition, my variable names show in the charts and gauges, but no data.I downgraded back to v1.3.0 and the Exact same flow works in v1.3.0.If I launch v1.4.0 from the command line, I see some warnings and an error.Is this a hint as to why acquiring data doesn't work?BEGIN ---- CLI log -----$ stm32cubemonitor (stm32cubemonitor:788869): dbind-WARNING **: 09:29:27.658: Couldn't register with accessibility bus: Did not receive a reply.
