STM32CubeMonitor (MCUs)

Hi All,I want to plot the current state of the microcontroller at the same time. From what I understood it is possible using stm32CubeMonitor and STLINK-V3PWR. I have seen a similar dashboard in AN5999  but I couldn't find a way to create such a dashboard that displays the current using STLINK-V3PWR.How can I create a dashboard such as below?

If there is a better way, please tell me so.Situation: Latest STM32CubeMonitor-Power (1.2.1), a new STLINK-V3PWR (V3PWR V4J2B1P4), all on latest Intel MacOS Ventura. High power USB port (tested several ports, no change).My device has several power caps (normal), be it on the primary power line and attached to the peripherals that I can power on/off via the CPU to preserve power. I wish to monitor the overall device's power use. So I got the STLINK-V3PWR. When monitoring power usage via STM32CubeMonitor-Power, I found a rather blocking problem: whenever my device's power consumption spikes (when switching on, or switching on a peripheral, meaning: when power caps get charged - so in all a very short spike), the software shows a message "VOUT turned off due to OverCurrentProtection". And so it does. After that, I find that I cannot simply power on again, I must unplug the programme

I want to see the result value in real time. like table format.(like stm32 studio live expressions)What should I do?

Hello,I'm using the current version of STM32CubeMonitor (1.6.0) under Windows and would like to check in my flow if the configured exefile in the STMicroelectronics variable node is the intended one (e.g fits a regex). For this I would like to read out the exefile parameter. When compiling with Maximum (-g3) Debug level, Add new exe-config config mode stalls at 10% when loading .elf. Why is this? Is there a limit to the number of symbols or the size of the .elf?If compiled with Default (-g) Debug level, then loads OK.When the project was simpler, fewer files, it did load OK with-g3 Debug level.STM32 CubeMonitor version 1.6.0     Windows 11GNU Tools for STM32 (10.3-2021.10)

Hallo,I have two NUCLEO-WL55JC boards with dedicated FW (LoRaWAN\LoRaWAN_AT_Slave) for making some tests with STM32CubeMonitor. Everything works fine, tests are possible without problems, but these two boards are connected to the same computer. That's why I cannot say, that I am doing some long range tests - rather very short range tests... The range is limited by the length of two USB cables (between each Nucleo and USB port). So - the question is: Is there possible, to make real long range test with two boards? IIf yes, how to do it? Do I need two persons with two computers (each board connected to each computer), calling by the phone to each other and starting the dedicated tests - what should be the procedure? One starts RX Test and the other Tx Test (for example for RF Test Tone(CW))?

Hi, Does anybody has a problem with latest version (1.2.1) of the STM32CubeMonPwr software? Looks like Linux archive is broken. I tried to fix it but without any success.  

Im trying to use a switch button to control a Boolean variable, but i couldn't find a way to make it work. If anyone know what i need to connect to it and to define i will be thankful.       

a)On windows 11 with 2 screen the cubemonitor power v1.2.1 starts on one screen with the size way bigger than the screen. I have to resize the windows on the left outer edge -> height shrink automatically to match screen size -> then can move the whole window further left (on the left screen) to get to the right edge of the window -> then can make the window smaller to fit on one screen. It would be good if the cubemonitor power v1.2.1 would start completely visible on one screen.b) exporting as csv is really slow and the cubemonitor power v1.2.1  becomes partly unresponsive . this is not a problem of the PC (64GB ram, some good 2th CPU, SSD).I would assume that to be exported data is converted into a list (many small allocations) before handing it it to the csv writer - but that may be wrong. Anyway writing the csv should be way faster.c)it would be great to be ableto set a zero poin

Hard coding address for variables could be problematic as the linker can move them during development. Is there a way to write a variable using its name instead of its address? The variables node has this information. How can I use the name in a templet to change the value of a variable?

Greetings to all, new to the STM32Cube environment hence the baby pic profile.   I created my project, a medium-complexity scale wherein 5 HX711s are feeding my STM32, and uploaded to my target, a Nucleo-L152RE.   Software compiles without error, for what that's worth.  It loads, declares victory and terminates where it should just run indefinitely.  To see what is happening I loaded CubeMonitor. At first I got [not connected ! JTAG/SWD error (f5)] so I added this to my code: #define DEBUGGER_ON 1 //REMOVE BEFORE FLIGHT #define LOW_POWER_DISABLE 1 //REMOVE BEFORE FLIGHT   I had to run the script in debug mode for this to take affect and, interestingly, it did not terminate, nor did it run.  It paused somewhere and gave me this error in the CubeMonitor  

Hello, after selecting the .elf file I get hundred of messages of this type:GDB Cmd [print /x & arm_cfft_sR_f32_len128.pTwiddle] failedError: Address of symbol "arm_cfft_sR_f32_len128" is unknownand similar, all related to CMSIS.After I ack all of these errors the import restarts with the same errors, only way out is by killing the program via process manager.All OK when variable addresses taken from .map are inserted, big pain but OK.What can be done?I'm aware of STMCubeMonitor, tried it but it looks like it's a joke, or at least not what I need. I just need a scope and a table to read and write variables. AFAIK CubeMonitor does not even have vertical scale adjust, just to mention the first showstopper.I'm shure that 99% of people share my needs. BTW STMCubeMonitor could conveniently be replaced with a binding to Python or whatever, then everybody chooses his own gui, framework etc.

I want to display ADC data on mychart -cube monitor. I found that varliable list remains inactive though it was made active under variables. I dont know what is wrong.

Hi, I have a STM32F407G-DISC1 board and I'd like to monitor some values (I/O pin states) using the CubeMonitor. However, when I try to configure the ACQ node no probe is found. I downloaded the latest version of the ST-Link driver and it does show up as a COM port.Any idea for a solution is welcomed!

Dear all, I am desperately trying to access the JTAG's cells registers to monitor PWMs on a STM32F407G-DISC1. I have a few questions : To my understanding, SWD is connected to the DP (Debug Port) which itself is connected to various debug systems (JTAG, Trace, ...). So, I should be able to access the JTAG using the SWD, right? If not the following is meaningless.I successfully connected the probe to the CubeMonitor using the SWD protocol, I can monitor variables and peripherals' registers. I also have the possibility to configure the probe for the JTAG protocol. However doing so I have the error "not connected ! Unknown JTAG chain (f6)". What and why? All I found was this :

The symptoms:We are building with IAR C++We have 4 global variables that change infrequently and we want to monitor when they change.We have set up a very simple monitoring program in CubeMonitor (based on the demo version)When monitoring the variables the variables are read as zero randomly (in fact most of the time) instead of the true value. Data is showing properly in Chart node but can't write data with write panel widget. When I try this work after change target board ( before : STM32F407G-DISC1 --> after : EVSPIN32F0601S1) the problem was resolved. I would like to know what is the difference between that two boards for working of "Write panel node". Please help me...

Hi, I am using CubeMonitorPWR along with board X-NUCLEO-LPM01A. Everyting is fine unitl I modify input voltage, then I experience app crashing, board disconnecting. Default voltage is 3000 mV, but I set any number higher than this and we got some serious trouble. Eventually I would like to measure my device under 3.3V voltage, but it seems impossible for now. Platform: Mac OS Ventura 13.1 Java has the most recent version.
