Hello, recently downloaded SPC5 Flasher V2.8.1, this is required to flash a custom board using serial (RS232) to load the CAN-Bootloader (SPC564B74 @40Mhz), subsequent loading of programs is done via CAN. The SPC5 Flasher appears to be not connecting to the USB/Serial Converter (no activity LEDs flashing). I have tried several USB/Serial devices (including genuine FTDI chip set) and both Win10 and Win11 PCs and a Win7 with serial port. I have confirmed all the system software is installed as required.  The flash tool does see the interfaces, but there is no USB activity when attempting connection on either interf

When I installed the the latest StellarStudio v8.0.0 (https://www.st.com/en/development-tools/stellarstudio.html#get-software), seems like it has installed the SDKs for Stellar E family only. How can I get the SDKs for Stellar P family. The link above seems to claim, the StellarStudio provides comprehensive framework to design, build and deploy embedded applications for the whole Stellar SRx family (i.e. Stellar E, G and P) and not just Stellar E. Please canyou advice? 

Dear,I am trying to flash a SPC570S50E1 MCU through CAN. I have the SPC5FlashProgrammer software and a SH-C31A USB to CAN adapter. The MCU is flashed with "SPC570Sxx_RLA Bootloader Application for Discovery" example project from ST.The problem is that my USB to CAN adapter is not recognized in the SPC5FlashProgrammer software. I read that the software should be used with the SPC5-Connect interface but it is not longer for sale. Is there any other interface I can use with the SPC5FlashProgrammer software ? Or is there any other software to flash a SPC5xx MCU through CAN ?Thank you in advance,Best regardsClément  

Hi, for a new project is search an MCU with 4 CAN FD and the possibility to connect a 64GB EMMC memory to safe data on it.Due to the harsh environment, a solution with an SD card is not possible. Do you know if i can connect it to the Bolero?Do you know if there is a demo-board where i can build a test sample for this szenario?

Hello All, I'm usin SR6P3 ARM mcu. I have to implement a simple SPI communication with StellarSDK. When send/receive starts the communication stucks in a while cycle where the code checks Tx queue busyness. while (queue->tx_busy == SPIQ_QUEUE_TX_BUSY) {                 ; }   Never comes out from this while. The clock is 1MHz. But if I set the clock lower like 50kHz, then the communication is good. I'm trying to build the SPC5 Studio SPC582Bxx sample project using GHS.I'm getting a lot of syntax errors in the *.s files.Do I need to manually fix these errors?What's the simplest way to build GHS?

SPC564A datasheet promises compatability. Does that mean I can swap out SPC563M with SPC564A. Set target addresses in firmware, build and install, and all runs hunky dory?

Where can I find 'Getting Started' documentation for Stellar Studio - which is listed as SW dev tool for SR5E1E570C30F00X? For STM32 products, I was using STM32 Cube IDE which had Cube MX integrated (To generate driver code). I believe similar should be there for Stellar Studio. But I am not able to find any relevant documentation.

Hello,I am working with the UM2458 (STEVAL-CTM009V1 / CTM004V1) motor control evaluation board in SPC5Studio.In SPC5Studio project configuration, I see an L9907 Component RLA (driver + diagnostic). However, in the user manual and hardware schematic of UM2458, there is no L9907 IC present. Instead, the board uses the L6491D gate driver.Because of this mismatch, when I run Motor Control Live Monitor:I get Diag errors and register read failures from the L9907 tab.No gate drive outputs appear, even though PWM and VCC are correct.My questions:Does the UM2458 board actually use L9907 anywhere? (I think not, but SPC5Studio enables it by default.)How do I correctly configure SPC5Studio so that it matches the hardware (with L6491 gate driver)?Should I remove the L9907 RLA component from my project? If so, what’s the correct way to disable it?Is there any example

 Hello I'm trying to flash data on a large block, but I've seen that the current code stops with FlashErase or FlashProgram functions.So I tried flash control in two ways and none of them worked.1. divide separate section to flsh areas2. use the secondLargeBlockSelect parameterThis is the code that was trying the second method by separating separate sections on B0F11 and B0F12 Block.This way, it goes to FlashErase, but it seems that FlashProgram is experiencing an error.I feel like the SetLock part is not working correctly.

Hi ST team,I'm working with the SPC58NH microcontroller in bare-metal mode and noticed that SPC5Studio only allows interrupt routing to Core0 and Core2 — Core1 is not listed as a target in the interrupt configuration interface.To test serial communication, I implemented asynchronous mode using DMA with LINFlex on all three cores. It worked perfectly on Core0 and Core2. However, when I try to run the same setup on Core1, the system hangs as soon as data arrives via serial. Hello everyone,I am working with an SPC58NH92C5RMI0X microcontroller using SPC5Studio v6.0 and the corresponding GCC toolchain.Objective: I am trying to implement a persistent variable that survives warm resets (debugger or pin resets) but is initialized in a controlled manner on a cold boot (power-on). To achieve this, I have created a custom .noinit section in memory.Symptoms: The system's behavior is inconsistent and depends on the boot type:Under the Debugger (Warm Resets): The system works perfectly. I can write a value to my persistent variable, perform a reset via the debugger, and the correct value is read in the next session.On Power-On (Cold Boot): The system behaves erratically.
