Hi All,We are using input capture module in our code the monitor the input pulses, based on the pulses we are calculating PWM period to turn on the pin High and Low.We have set the PWM period but we observed the 20usec mismatch in the output. We have provide the proper clock and my set period value,May i know how we can figure the root cause for it.we have toggle a gpio before and after the epwm_lld_enable_channel3 function call, it is taking around 10usec time to execute this line. Is this intended behavior or have we missed any thing to set? Please help us ASAP to solve this issue, its become a showstopper.Thanks.Basava.

I am an employee of Elektrobit. I am developing a CAN driver (OSEK product) on the MCU SPC582B for our customer. After reading the document "SPC582Bx Errata sheet - Chorus1M - Rev3 - DM00450569_3_0," I found the four workarounds for MCAN#20 (ID: DAN-0047979) can't work for me. For the workaround #2, #3, #4, in my opinion, these actions should not be done by a CAN driver; for the workaround #1, however, many issues will occur on our CAN driver when the busload is bigger than 90%. Do you have another better workaround for this Errata? And could you please give me some effective advice? Thank you! :smiling_face_with_smiling_eyes:

In the document RM0407 Rev.5 there are two different memory maps on pages 87 and 717.  According to p.236 we have to write 2 DCF records (16 bytes) in one program operation, but now we have RESERVED area after DCF Start record area. How we should write start record properly? The screenshots are attached.

Hello,I am configuring pin map for SPC560B50L1. I expect to configure pins 14 and 15 as CANFlex0 TX and RX respectively.Due to manual, pin 15 is the one for CAN-RX for my 64-pin UC:But this pin has no other option to select than SIUL/GPIO17:For another CANbus (CANFlex3) there is an option CAN3RX for the pin 62, so I think it is a bug of SPC5Studio,

Dear All,I work with SPC56EC64 and have a question about debugging. For debug, I use SPC5-UDESTK debugger. Now I can't access a flash. During programming popped communication error. Since I can't access the flash memory to read or write. If I configure Target without the flash, I access RAM and Core register. But I can't connect Target if flash handling is enabled. In the datasheet, I read about shadow flash and similar. I guess I can erase the shadow flash and now I have no access to it. Is there a possibility to access the flash?

according to me it should not lead to reset as in FCCU CFS config register it not configured to perform reset reaction for this critical fault.

Hi Can anyone help in supplying the programming algorithm or programming specification for the SPC58 series chips.I want to program these on an In-Circuit tester without adding a special programmer.

I am using Init package component (in which irq, osal, etc. components are present). When I use just timer interrupt, it gets successfully run. however, when I am trying to add UART peripheral inside the code, it gets stuck at _IVOR1. What can be the reason of this behaviour?Also, inside OSAL component, Timer 0 is configured, can anyone please elaborate the use of Timer 0 over there?

Hi,I am trying to implement MCU sleep and wakeup mechanism using the MCU with the part number SPC560C50L3. I have developed a piece of code with reference to few reference documents(Reference Manual RM0017, AN4231, AN3316).In the sample code which I have attached herein with, I am trying to HALT the MCU whenever external interrupt EIRQ[5] gets asserted and wakeup the MCU at the assertion of WKUP[2]. But the execution enters into infinite loop since the ME.GS.MTRANS != 0, at the time of transitioning the mode RUN0-> HALT.I am sharing code as attachment and looking forward for you valuable comments.Regards,R.Santhamurthy

Hi everybody,We are currently working on a commercial project for automotive industry. Since we are used to use ST mcus, we want to continue ST's automotive grade mcu. The requirements are listed below;- AEC-Q100 compliant- ASILB or higher level qualification.- At least 2xCAN peripheral- RTC timer- External 32 khz connection option- At least 1 x I2CThe mcu which almost meets that requirements I found is SPC560b50l3 but I am not sure if it is compliant with AEC-Q100 and ASILB or higher qualification. Can you please confirm or recommend another ST mcu?Thanks in advance 

I am facing a trouble with the execute debug your appliacation button. It's always greyed even though I installed PLS debugger and I followed the instruction on help menu. I can see that the PLS debugger is corectly installed but the button is still gray. Any suggestions?

Hi folks,I'm trying to get to know the PMSM motor control code for SPC5. Hi All,I'm new to SPC5 studio. I'm using SPC560P development kit for my project. I need to interface two different sensor to the One SPI (i.e two chip select with one spi). Right now i'm using two spi chip select pins PA5 and PC8. I want to read data from the each sensor in a periodic manner.Please let me know 1. how i can configure this on SPC5 studio 2. how i can toggle between these two sensors. 3. Is it required to initialize SPI for each time to switch between sensors? 4. If not how chip select will work? how it will which one to communicate?Its became a show stopper please help to understand the configurations.Thanks,Basava.

Hi everybody, The last time I asked a question here still is not answered yet. I hope this time I can get an answer. ​​We are using SPC560B50 series mcu, and want to program flash from CANBUS by using boot assist module during mass production. To do that, we placed a pull-up resistor on FAB pin to enter serial boot mode(flexcan). After flash programming is done, mcu jumps to user code by using bootloader command. Problem starts here. In user code watch dog timer is activated, and as I read from forums it is told that if wdt resets mcu, because there is pull-up resistor on FAB pin, it will enter serial boot mode again. This is something we should avoid. Is there any solution for that? Is it possible by playing around boot sectors or boot id. @Community member​ @Erwan YVIN​ can you guys please support me? ​
