Hello, I am designing a circuit using VNH5019A-E motor driver.Is there a problem if the capacitor is installed on the motor output pins OUTA and B? The value is about 10uF. For example, the charging and discharging of the capacitor leads to situations where low speeds such as PWM 10% and 20% cannot be controlled. Is it possible to not use capacitors for the output? If possible, to what extent is it possible? This is to remove the noise from the EMC/EMI test.   Additionally, is it correct that this motor driver can't use PWM 100% because it has H bridge structure? Because it requires switching of high side and low side FET? If so, if I set it to 100% and give the PWM signal, does it operate at 99%?? Or does it operate incompletely? For example, it generates noise..

Hi Sir,Would it be feasible to achieve an 80A peak current on this board simply by modifying the OCP circuit hardware and the corresponding firmware settings in X-CUBE-MCSDK? Or will thermal constraints and the PCB design itself (e.g., trace width, layout) prevent this from being a viable solution?( This is considering that the Power MOSFET used on the board, the STL160N4F7, has a much higher pulsed current rating according to its datasheet.)Thank you.

Hello everyone, I am learning about STPM32 design and I am wondering about the power source for the IC to operate. Mass (GND) is shared between AC and DC? This seems unreasonable. Hope everyone shares. knowledge.

I was design 19 volt regulated power supply, but I don't know the exact value for the transistors, and I noticed at the voltsim output didn't reach the maximum 19 volt output, can anyone help me for the solution for my design, regards.@all 

Posted on October 25, 2016 at 20:05Hi All,I want to make a BLDC motor driver board using L6235N DIP.I wired all the components on the breadboard as per schematic diagram and component list is given in ST Application Note AN1625 page no. 35-37.I am using PWM from MCU to control the speed of the BLDC motor(Max Speed 3000RPM). Now motor is running and break, Direction, Tacho all these features are working fine but I have a little problem to control the speed .generally, when I set the PWM duty Cycle 0% Motor should be stop but still motor is running arround 350RPM. PWM output is connected with Vref pin no. 13 of L6235N. I am unable to control the speed less than 350RPM but more than 350RPM Speed control is working fine.  When I connect the PIN no. 13 (Vref) to 0V(Signal Ground) nothing changed motor still running at 350RPM but it should be stopped. I am using all the components as per given A

i am using MOC3063 as an optocoupler and BTA24-800CW as a triac .with 220 V ac and it worked fine (switch on and off) with the 10W,5W,3W resistive loads but when using 60 W incandescent lump it only turn on but not off   i am using this basic circuit . Even tried with many different resistance value (Rled=100,R=330)

Hi Sir, For a system with -48V and 0V (Ground) power rails, can I use the STEF01 with the following connections?Connect the IC's GND pin to the system -48V rail.Connect the IC's VCC pin to the system 0V rail.  Will the chip work correctly and safely in this configuration?Thank you

Hello experts!my GP is to design an offline DC/DC converter ( LLC )  for cordless home applainces similar to the attached file, now I am aware of how to design LLC for conventional Chargers (wired) to some extent, but i get compeletly confused when it goes to design LLC converter for wireless application specially how to integrate the coupling factor in the LLC design, I have Knew that LLC isn't the optimal resonance tank to use with WPT due to the coupling factor, but we have choosed it because that our coupling factor values expected to be high > 0.7 in home Applainces applications because the distance btw the coupled coils is small, and certainly for the high efficieny LLC providesI hope u suggest any AN or Refernces help my in the designing the LLC tank, certainly, I Would happy to hear any general recommendation about the project as well.Thank u for yout time and considrations

We’re currently facing an issue with the L4986A PFC controller in one of our designs. Hello,I'm in the process of moving from MP1 to MP2 on my device. The latter, used STPMIC1 that suffered the startup problem as described in AN5861 and I had to go thru a re-design to include the latching circuit on my PCBA.Can anybody confirm that this issue is gone for STPMIC25 that I will use for MP2?Thanks in advance,Daniel
