Now I start to use STPS202000CFP and try to estimate junction temperature. Then in datasheet, ST defines Rth(j-c). Question1 : where is "c(case?)" point in this discrete device, center of case?. Question 2: Does Onsemi have Rth(j-a) for this device ?

Hi,I am using HVLED007 in my 80V, 45W SMPS (Input voltage range 160V-300V). Is it possible for the IC to operate in primary side regulation mode instead of the conventional opto-coupler-based secondary side control? Unlike other ICs, I cannot see an internal E/A or its characteristics mentioned in the IC datasheet.However, from the datasheet of the HVLED007, I found the following paragraph: "The IC is provided with a control input intended for being driven by the phototransistor of an optocoupler to close a secondary-regulated isolated control loop. However, with the addition of a simple external circuitry, it can be used to close a primary-regulated voltage loop as well."Is there any reference document that can clarify whether the HVLED007 can be used in PSR? If so, what modifications or external circuitry are needed?Thanks!

I plan to use the LD1086DT33TR LDO to output 3.3V with an input voltage of 5V. However, I am not aware of the requirements for the ESR (Equivalent Series Resistance) of the output filter capacitor for the LD1086DT33TR, and this parameter is not mentioned in the datasheet. I intend to use either the GRM31CZ71C226ME15L or the CC1206KKX7R6BB226 as the output filter capacitor, and I am considering using two such capacitors in parallel. I wonder if this configuration is appropriate.(Or a 25YXF47MFFC5X11)? 

Hi, I'm working with this VNQ7E100AJTR IC , I have a connected the solenoid of rating 2.2A rating at one output channel. the particular output pin got damaged and irrespective of the input the particular output pin is always High (12V). what is the maximum output current of the IC at each output channel? what the recommended output current maximum to be connected at the Output(OUTPUT0)? 1.I wanted to know whether this IC will work if PWM input is given at the INPUT0-3 in VNQ7E100AJTR IC and will the Output of this IC will be PWM or not ?2. what is the max output current of this IC for each output Pin (4 channel).Is the output current of each channel 2A or less?3.For OFF-state open-load with external circuitry,4.For RPU , the value of IL(off2)min @ 4V is 3uA ?Kindly do the needful as soon

We have a prototype board with the STSPIN958 full bridge but we see that it cannot measure positive current (in coil) when the voltage is switched negative, output shows current = 0.We switch from 48V to -48V on the coil. (turning the magnetic field off fast)When the current becomes also negative then we have a measurement again.So we have a blind spot after the voltage polarity on our output changes. Is there a configuration with this IC to keep measuring the current after the voltage polarity switches? Thanks

Hi,I was hoping someone may be able to point me in the right direction for two projects I am looking to research:1.) BMS - to what extent is there a mature ecosystem and codebase for scalable battery management - not only for varying call capacities, but for varying configurations? I am interested in the MCU and control behind a 3S2P config up to even something like 3SxP (x probably no greater than 4), or 4SxP. I am looking at the 18xxx series of LiPo batteries. Particularly - STM MCU platform/dev/daughter boards, any associated peripherals, and code references.2.) I am also looking for similar solutions as above for research into grid forming and grid following inverters - preferably on a scale suitable for lab work, but in pursuit of what we would see on utility scale units.If anyone could point me in the right direction to get started, I would appreciate the assistance! Hi!I have an issue with stm32 Nucleo F767zi power setup.When I power up the stm32 Nucleo F767zi on 12V, the regulator ic and the controller chip heats up. Why?I have also changed the JP3 jumper to (Vin-5V) option. And the JP1 jumper is off.What's the problem and how I can resolve it?

After visiting the ST website the new GAN 700V Fet's got my attentionPart numbers starting with with SGT are under evaluation.Tested a few mastergan4, I found those very fast and could reach easy the 3 MHz with low rise and fall times (below 10ns)My question: is there any information about speed and rise/fall times available?Is it possible to join a testing program or get some samples to test? 

I have been trying to use the EV-VNF1048F with the vnf1048f high side switch on it to act as an SPI slave to an external ATSAME54 microcontroller master. I just want to read the current that the efuse experiances when connected between a DC power supply and a load. However I cannot seem to turn on the high side switch functionality and reliably read the current output. The datasheet for the fuse is very confusing. I follow the steps of sending an SPI frame to set the unlock bit to switch the fuse into unlocked state of CR3. Then I set the enable bit and the high side switch bit of CR1 to go into the unlocked state and turn on the HS MOSFET. I also toggle the watchdog bit every 50 ms. However, the switch does not behave with the correct functionality. I have attched my main.c file for reference

Hi,We need to pre-program a large mount of STPMIC25APQR offline.So we would design a minimum system to program this device.My question is we only need to program this chip, which pins should be must. we would like to leave all other pins floated(not used). Could all the  LDOs and BUCKs not powered as we don't use them in programming. 

Would like to enquire if there is a qualification report for ESDA15P60-1U1M with the list of qualification tests done. Thanks

Hi All,We are making controller for 3 phase heater. It is ON/OFF controller, with heater in delta configuration with mains 400 VAC (phase to phase voltage).Heater is always connected to one phase, while other two are controller with ST's BTA41-800BRG triacs. Problem arised during LVD pre-testing. According to the test 13.2 Electric strength - Part: Electronic disconnection from EN 60730-1 standard voltage from the Table 12 is applied between input and output. Table 12 says that for electronic disconnection, two times the maximum working voltage shall be applied. In our case (400 VAC + 10%) * 2 = 880 VAC voltage is applied for one minute. Maximum leakage current must be lower than 5 mA in order to pass the test. Maximum voltage for this test is 880 VAC * 1.41 = 1241 V t

We bought the following evaluation boards to test a wireless charging concept:STEVAL-WBC86TXSTEVAL-WLC38RXNow it seems that the datasheets of the evaluation boards and also from the chips that they use got pulled from the website. The control software STSW-WPSTUDIO also is nowhere to be found.Is there some way to get all these files still or are they just gone for good due to some restrictions...?

Hello I am using a STPM801 eval board and will design in the STPM801 on my power management board. I am confused by the connections to the TIE0 and NC pins as described by the STEVAL-STPM801 data brief document and the app note AN5830.  The data brief doc shows on page 3 the circuit schematic and the 8 off NC pins are floating (i.e. not connected) as are 3 off the TIE0 pins (pin 13, 14 and 28) - only pin8 connects to GND through a 0R resistor. Page 4 of AN5830 describes the pin functions. This states that all NC and TIE0 pins "Connect directly to GND". Should the NC and TIE0 pins be connected to GND or not (or somewhere else)?

Both chips are based on the WPC Qi standard and are designed for wireless power transfer.I have a few questions regarding compatibility with other Qi-based devices:If I place a different Qi-certified transmitter (e.g., commercial wireless charger) on top of the STWLC38,will it charge properly?Conversely, if I put a third-party Qi receiver (e.g., Qi-based earbuds case) on top of the STWBC86 transmitter,will it charge successfully?If compatibility issues occur in either case, does that mean that Qi version alignment (e.g., Qi 1.2.4) is notsufficient to ensure interoperability? Or are there manufacturer-specific implementations that can affect compatibi

I notice that in the schematics for the STEVAL-LLL007M1 STEVAL-LLL007V1, part of the evaluation kit for the LED1202, several of the A0 pins for the attached LED1202s are pulled to ground with 10K resistors.  However, in the datasheet for the LED1202 the example schematics do not show such an arrangement.   What is the purpose of the 10K pull down resistor?  And is it necessary in other designs using the LED1202?   -A

We have a batch of chips labelled M27400 and another marked M37400.  Does this marking indicate the version number of the chips?  I'm seeing a difference in behavior between them (the M34700 are reporting PE states I haven't seen previously). Thanks,
