Dear allI have built up the circuit of STEVAL-ISV019V1. I want to conserve power over one night in a supercap connected to VSTORE. With the 3V3 LDO enabled but no load present, the SPV1050 seems to draw about 7-8uA.Is it possible to bring it down to less than 1uA or do I need to disconnect the SPV1050?Kind regardsChristian

Hello,I created a custom board using the TCPP03-M20, based mostly on the NUCLEO H7S3 schematic.The only differences are:* My uC is using 1.8V, so the EN pin only gets 1.8V* VCC_VCONN is supplied with 5V instead of 3.3V* I use a single power path (using Schottky diodes according to the datasheet) When I measured the Vgs voltage supplied by the TCPP03 to the MOSFET, it is only 3V on my board compared to the 5V on the Nucleo board. According to the datasheet this voltage should always be between 4.5 and 5.5V, correct?Is there anything wrong with my schematic? I would like to get a Vgs of at least 4.5V, as the MOSFET I'm using is designed for that, not for 3V.

Hi all,I have a board designed using the STWLC38 as the Qi Rx. An ESP32 is the host controller using I2C to configure the STWLC38. The communication works OK and I can set and read various registers.I have two questions on this configuration:The STWLC38 datasheet lists the functions of all the various registers but doesn't list the addresses for many of them. Are these available elsewhere?The STWLC38 is powered from the Qi coil so that I can only read/write when I have a successful pairing. How can I save my custom parameters to RRAM using I2C?Thanks in advance.

Hi,I am looking to use the STM6710DWB6F as a quad-channel voltage supervisor, specifically for 3.3V, 5V, 6V and 12V rails.  The datasheet specifies V1IN = 5V, V2IN = 3.3V, V3IN = 1.8V, and V4IN = adjustable.  It seems obvious use V1IN and V2IN directly, while feeding either 6V or 12V through a voltage divider to provide 1.8V into V3IN.  However, I am uncertain how to use V4IN to monitor the remaining voltage.  The datasheet states a typical threshold voltage of 0.62V at this pin and to use a resistor divider to modify this value.  However, will this affect V1IN-V3IN?  Any help in understanding V4IN and the effects of setting threshold voltages would be greatly appreciated.Thanks,Brendon

From what I can read on this diode it is from ST for sure, and it says G beside the logo, the next line is BEX, and the last line is GP048.   Any help would be appreciated

  Hi, I am trying to configure the L9026 through SPI communication, but I am confused about configuring the CFG_1 and CFG_2 registers.   In section 7.4.1 (PWM Generator), it is mentioned as CFG_1.PWM_DIV_GEN, but in the CFG_1 register there is no field named PWM_DIV_GEN. Instead, PWM_DIV_GEN is present in CFG_2. A similar issue exists with PWM_DIV_LED. Please find the attached screenshots from the datasheet. Please provide clarification on this. HI Sir, "Could you please check the following switching frequency waveform images? The setup is: 24V input, 12V output (max load ~1.8A), R-FSW = 68kΩ, inductor = 15μH, and COMP configured as 680Ω + 33nF (parallel with 1nF) — see the images below. This 12V output powers both a mini PC and a 200Hz PWM backlight circuit. Which value should we use for R15: 680Ω, 10kΩ, or another resistance?"

Hi,Our development board uses BQ25120A for battery management.In the datasheet section 10.2.2.1 Default Settings, there is a statement:• If the function is not needed, connect TS to the center tab of the resistor divider between VIN and the ground.(pull up resistor = 14 kΩ, pull down resistor = 14.3 kΩ)We didn't need the TS function at this time, so we followed that advice. However, upon assembly, the charging did not work. We figured out it was because of a TS fault. Checking the datasheet again, section 9.3.16 External NTC Monitoring (TS) says: "To disable the TS function, pull TS above TSOFF threshold." Then checking the TSOFF threshold, it's minimum value is 55% of VIN, and the 14k/14.3k divider only gives around 50%. I believe these values are applicable for the case when TS function is used with a 10k NTC (b=3370), contrary to what 10.2.2.1 says. And i

In our application we use the STPM801 as a switch and fuse. The fuse characteristic is, by default, very linear (except some filter/blanking times). Is it possible to give the fuse a I2t characteristic like old fashioned fuses/thermal fuses?I did experiment with a 1st order RC filter between the shunt resistor and the Sense and Out pins. Unfortunately doesn't work. With the resistor in the sense-track an over current error is detected and with the resistor in the out-track an ORING VDS error is detected.Is there any possibility to have a I2t characteristic available with the STPM801?(Detailed measurements are available.)  regards, Johannis

In the DC Link Capacitor i am facing a problem like i am getting 260Arms as the inrush current for my motor controller. Although my overall operating current is 160Arms maximum. Suggest me some methods to reduce this consition.

Hello,are there any example parameters available to drive a stepper motor fast in current mode? I am using the EVLPOWERSTEP01 evaluation board with different stepper motors, e.g. Oriental PK267JDA (3.4V, 2.8A, 1.2Ohm) and Nanotec ST6018K2008 (4.8V, 2.0A, 2.4Ohm). Every motor stalls at 9 rev/sec. I used the settings related to UM1829 and played with all parameter values. Without any progress. How to speed up to e.g. 60 rev/sec?I attached my default parameters from the SPINFamily tool.Thanks in advance,Stephan 

I am currently designing a circuit using the LD1117S50CTR.In the recommended circuit in the datasheet, Cin = 100 nF and Cout = 10 µF are specified.For an LDO, I believe Cout is critical, while Cin is not as important.Therefore, I am considering using 10 µF ceramic capacitors for both Cin and Cout.Is there any issue with using a Cin value larger than the recommended 100 nF?
