I am having trouble connecting to the STM32N6 with SWD.I have implemented a design using the STM32N645X0H3Q (though I have placed the STM32N647X0H3Q) using external VDDCORE. R110 is not mounted (to set VLXSMPS to NC).On startup I have VDDIO (3.3V) and VDDA1V8ON (1.8V) to the MCU, and the MCU activated PWR_ON (I have VDDA1V8ON to the PDR_ON pin, A1 on another page). This activates the reset of the power, including VDDCORE. All voltage measurements are as expected on the board.When I try to connect to the board using SWD in STMProgrammer (v2.20.0), I see the 3.3V, but the STMProgrammer does not connect. I am using a Minnie V3 (v V3J16M8) on Windows. I have tried lower frequencies and all modes and reset modes without success. I should mention that on my prototype board, I have not mounted external crystals, flash or ram. Though I believe that is not necessary for STMProgrammer to see the MCU. Any help is greatly appreciated!

I am using stm32wle5jc ( LoRa Wio E5 mini board) with stm32wl FW stack. I tried lot ways to implement the RTC Alarm B (in BIN, MIXED and BCD mode). But is stops entire LoRa Process. How I fixed that?

Hello,I have already use VL53L0X sensor provided by AZ-Delivery.My main problem is that I2C address can be changed but NOT permanently.I am looking to "Adafruit VL53L4CX Time of Flight Sensor". But I don't want to discover the same problem, that is I2C address can not be change permanently. Does the base-component VL53L4CX have the same "disability" ?Is there a TOF component allowing to set and fix this important behavior ?Best regards.

I want to add a custom BLE service in STM32CubeMX. I saw on a website that the Add Custom Service feature could be used for this. However, I don't know the procedure for adding a service using this feature. Please tell me the steps to add a service using the Add Custom Service feature in the latest IDE and MX environment.

Hello,We are testing the st33ktpm2x as a secure key generator and storage on our raspberry cm4 running openwrt (kernel 6.6), but came across some problems when trying to access the device.When we connect it via the i2c1 and use the dtbo provided from here it works: https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/TCG-TPM-I2C-DRV/tree/main but it only works with software i2c, not hardware. That isn't a big problem, but we need it on i2c4, and the provided dtbo only works with the i2c1. Is there a dts file available or some other instructions on how to make it work? Thank you

Hello all,I'm new with STM32MP157F-Disco board. So maybe i do something wrong, but i cant find a solution. I use  CubeIDE_1.18.0 with packages STM32Cube_FW_MP1_V1.7.0. When i start a new project with the board selector,  STM32MP157FAC1. Then it will make a new project and you can build that project. When i add FreeRTOS for CM4 and change the Timmer to TIMX and the SYS to that timer and i build the project, it says ;fatal error: freertos_mpool.h: No such file or directory.Why does it not include the: freertos_mpool.h ? Because it is in the STM32Cube_FW_MP1_V1.7.0 in the correct location, but CubeIDE does not copy it to the project for some reason.Also when i change in FreeRTOS ->advanced settings -> USE_NEWLIB_REENTRANT to  Enable. It says it can't find newlib-freertos.h: instead of reent.h is this a bug, does any one ells has this problem.I have the same problem on different computers(Windows and  linux).I hope someone can help me with this problem.I you need

My application use lots of RAM, I'm concern about the stack memory. The RAM size is  128KB,from 0x20000000 to 0x20020000. Form the linker script (.ld) file, _Min_Heap_Size = 0x200; /* required amount of heap */ _Min_Stack_Size = 0x400; /* required amount of stack */ Use "Build Analyzer" to check Memory Details, it says "._user_heap_stack  Run Address  0x2000d160     1.5K ". But when I run the debugger, SP starting at 0x20020000; when call functions it goes to 0x2001ffe8; 0x2001ffe0... My question are: 1. The ._user_heap_stack  Run Address should be 0x2001FA00  (size 0x400 + 0x200 ==>0x600), end at 0x20020000.  2. During debugging, I can use SP to view the stack pointer address. How can I view Heap address? 3. Stack area should be from  0x2001FC01 to 0x20020000; and heap area is from 0x2001FA00 to 0x2001FC00?     If stack overflow, it will corrupt heap area data?  

I am working on a React Native project for an NFC app that needs to run on both iOS and Android. I am using the react-native-nfc-manager library to perform NFC operations. The NFC tag I am using is ST25DV, which supports NDEF and NfcV (ISO15693) technologies.In my app, I need to perform:Writing different types of NDEF messages (URI, AAR, etc.).Writing directly to static registers (e.g., RFA1SS, ENDA1, RF_PWD_1, etc.).For writing to registers, I need to access raw memory blocks, which requires NfcV commands.According to the react-native-nfc-manager documentation, NfcV is not supported on iOS. I was design 19 volt regulated power supply, but I don't know the exact value for the transistors, and I noticed at the voltsim output didn't reach the maximum 19 volt output, can anyone help me for the solution for my design, regards.@all

Hi,APB1 clock can't be enabled if HSI clock is chosen. It says that the driven clock must be 10M<=x<48M, so, without using the PLL it's impossible to get the 10MHz. Things get worse when I try to feed the PLL from the HSI: it says that the PLL should have HSE as an input!If I go on despite the recommendation, then I get this message: How can I enable the APB1 clock without using an externa crystal? What should I do if I want to choose both: not to use an external crystal and still using the USB peripheral? For now I can disable the USB port because I'm not in a rush with it, but this isn't a solution.May I overlooking something?BTW, this is a custom board. Thank you in advanced! 

Is there any way to configure the HAL to communicate to a slave via I2C WITHOUT sending the address byte first?  I know this is part of the I2C standard, but I would like to implement a TM1637 device, which is similar to I2C but does not use an address byte.I have already implemented a "bit bang" version with delays and GPIO, but it would be nice to use the HAL directly somehow.HAL I2C already gives me STARTs, writes, reads and STOPs, which is most of the TM1637 protocol.  If I could just turn off that pesky address byte!Or maybe this can be done with the SPI interface instead.Suggestions welcome ...

Fresh install of stm32cube1.9.0 (onto a Windows 10 64-bit system). Hello,I am using P-Nucleo-WB55. I have made a simple BLE server example that receives data from a client and it's working well. But whenever I add sequencer tasks, while these tasks are running, if I send any data from the client (ST BLE App), the nucleo doesn't receive it immediately. I have to wait until the tasks are finished.I try to minimize the task time so that the sequencer can run whatever is related to the events, but it also doesn't work. I have to wait until all the tasks are finished and there are no set tasks, so that the event handler is called and the action that happens when I send data happens. I am trying now with this example mahmoudahmedibrahim5/BLE_Receive_example, so that I can add that to a real application, so this is just an example.This example has 1 service with 1 characteristic. When the client sends data, the event handler calls Custom_STM_App_Notification and it checks the data and blinks different LEDs based on that data. It has only one t

Hello ST Community,I'm facing a MIPI DSI configuration issue with my STM32U5A9 and TFT LCD. When using PHY DSI as the DSI lane byte clock source, my code fails with a timeout on HAL_DSI_ShortWrite. When I switch to PLL3P, the initialization proceeds, but the LCD displays distorted images.Request for Assistance: I'm new to MIPI and suspect a misconfiguration in clock settings. Hello Firends,Two Questions...1. Firmware Flash with DFU Bootloader succesfully done along with RDP bit. Can we re-flash the fiirmware once RDP L1 is set before through DFU using USB ? my custom board uses STM32F303Rb device. 2. Each STM32 device has UID of 96 bit, Can we use this UID to Club with Firmware so that each firmware image is specifc to that particular Device ? Why can't I find the E15 pin？:） 

I would like to know why 2 is added to the P2PNotifyServerToClientCharHdle while checking for an attribute handle match in p2p_stm.c file. Later in the same function, 1 is added to P2PWriteClientToServerCharHdle. A new sensor has been recently launched on st.com, embedded in existing pressure and iNemo sensors: an electrostatic sensor that can be used for human presence and motion detection, touch detection, and user interface (UI) applicationsQvar stands for electric charge (= Q) variation (= var).
