Hi, I forgot to add the  pins in my STM cube project and flashed my MCU. Now I am not able to connect to my MCU. I am working with the STMF103RCT6 MCU. I tried giving 3.3V to the boot pin and connect a UART to serial converter  to my board. But it still didn't connect with cube programmer. I am attaching the screenshot of the error for your reference. Please advise what to do. 

Hi When I use stm32cubemx V6.15, I find that enbale OSPI as QSPI mode is not feasible.It say another Quad spi is activated, but actully not.When downgrade to V6.14, I can enable Quad spi.Can you help confirm this issue?

Hello,I'm following the Getting started wiki for Developing on Arm® Cortex®-M33. I already installed the IDE and the MP2 Packages. Now I'm in the section "Modify, rebuild and reload the firmware" but I'm stuck in Step 2. Software Prerequisites. Because I don't know how to install the build environment as explained in the wiki. It seems like it is for linux development, but I am using Windows, so I don't have the "sudo" and "export" options.Can someone help me to execute these lines in windows? or is there another alternative?1-Install dependencies:sudo apt-get install -y git curl wget build-essential libssl-dev python3 \ python3-pip cmake make libncurses52-Add CMake path into environment:export PATH=<CMake path>/bin:$PATH Thanks in advance,David

There's a serious bug in G4's hal(version 1.6.1) library in spi dma function.The problem is:1, user calls HAL_SPI_TransmitReceive_DMA2, after spi transmission finished, HAL will call HAL_SPI_TxRxCpltCallback3, user calls HAL_SPI_Receive_DMA inside HAL_SPI_TxRxCpltCallback, and will fail in a chance.The reason is:1, HAL_SPI_TransmitReceive_DMA will start both Rx and Tx dma, and after transmission complete, HAL_DMA_IRQHandler will be triggered to set dma handler's state to ready and unlock dma handler;2, If Rx dma complete first and trigger HAL_SPI_TxRxCpltCallback, user calls HAL_SPI_Receive_DMA in the callback, don't know why HAL will still start Tx dma which is still locked, that cause function to fail.3, if Tx dma complete first, the scenario above will be fine. Hi, Dear STM motor control experts:   I am conducting experiments on the BLDC HSO project, and during project testing, the code in the SPD_init() function runs to IMPEDCORR_setParams(pHandle->pImpedCorr, &ImpedCorr_params_M1); No problem, but run the function IMPEDCORR_setRs_si(pHandle->pImpedCorr, flashParams->motor.rs); A hardware failure occurred, and the code jumps to HardFault.Handler(). Because the function is in a lib file, it cannot be analyzed. Please help analyze the cause.Thanks!Best regards.

How long does the TDA bit in the STATUS_REG of the ASM330LHH remain “1”?Is the TDA bit itself a latch type and remains “1” until the temperature output register (OUT_TEMP_H/L, 21h/20h) is read?

It is recommended that CTRL9_XL DEVICE_CONF in ASM330LHH always set this bit to 1 when configuring the device, but when should it be set back to 0? Should it not be set back?

Hi everyone,I am using STM32F103c8t6 module for transmitting and receiving data in between two SX1262 LoRa module. The libraries are found in https://github.com/Lora-net/sx126x_driver/tree/v2.3.2 link and i have successfully transmit and receive data using normal SPI communication but i want to transmit and receive the data using SPI DMA mode but i am unable to do that.If anyone know about this please guide me regarding this. Thank you in advance!!

The way the ref manual states this makes it sound like, if, before you start a counter, you "manually" set the counter to a value higher than the period value, it will NOT start counting / reset back to zero once the timer is actually enabled. However, when I try to do this, as soon as I enable the timer it doesn't function this way.The Timer has no reset bits set in the RST register; It's in continuous mode, and the period value is set to 1000. Good morning all!I'm using the stm32h573RI chip with the packaging of LQFP64. I'm trying to setup pin PB5 and PB6 for UART5 using the CubeMX, however it's not working. I was reviewing the datasheet and the Alternate function it states is different than what CubeMX has. CubeMX has both PB5/6 with an alternative function of 14, but in the Datasheet in table 15 page 103 it states it at AF12. (when counting from 0). Hi everyone: i received in these days a custom PCB i designed based on the STM32F411 microcontroller:I wanted to experiment with such MCUs and make a custom board with them for the first time; i was also interested in making it compatible with the arduino framework through PlatformIO as i am already experienced with that environment.I started running some tests and i turned out that i was able to program it in DFU mode and to use the serial monitor just fine; however the problems started when i tryed to use I2C sensors like this BME280 Breackout board i got from Amazon: i started simple by connecting it up to 3V3, same GND ans the STM32 board, and SDA and SCL according to the attached PCB sc

Hi,We are currently looking for a power metering IC. We are thinking of using the STPM32 for this purpose.In our device we can only switch on and off the line to our load. The Neutral of the load is not passing through our device. It is connected to our same neutral though. So the only place we could place a current shunt is on the LINE and not in the NEUTRAL as in the evaluations schematics. Our STPM32 will have fully isolated power and communication lines. - So we are now mandatory to use a current transformer or rogowsky coil?- Are there any other ways of still measuring with a current shunt in line? - Because the circuit is fully isolated and there is no way to touch the circuit could we also refer to the LINE voltage instead of NEUTRAL?Best regards

Hello,I am planning to build a cellular application using EC200 as my modem. I prefer to use in modem stack using AT commands due to memory constraint of my MCU. Hi everyone, I'm having an issue with a brand new ST-Link V3 and would appreciate a quick sanity check before I return it.Here's the situation:* The device is not detected by my PC at all (it does not appear in Device Manager).* I have already confirmed my USB-C data cable is working correctly.* The red power LED on the ST-Link is extremely faint and dim.* I also tested it on a second computer, and the result was exactly the same.Since the LED is so dim and it fails on multiple PCs, I'm confident this is a hardware fault (DOA). Has anyone seen this specific issue before? I've attached a photo of the dim LED.  Thanks for any input! 

Hi All,I am trying to implement VD6281 readout layer and I do struggle with quite random '0' return value with relatively intense light exposure.The implemented script automatically adjust sensor gain. Before the STM32CubeIDE had serious issues with the live expressions during debug, with variables showing random values and signs when they were unsigned (the issues are various years old now https://community.st.com/t5/stm32cubeide-mcus/stm32cubeide-1-18-0-released/m-p/778624#M34678) After updating to STM32CubeIDE Version: 1.18.0 Build: 24413_20250227_1633 (UTC) the live expressions completely broke All the variables now show 0 and they won't vary As you can see from the screenshot, hovering while on breakpoint shows the correct value. On the top right, all the values are 0 in the live expressions tab
