Hi, I'm working on the project using STM32H723 with an external flash (winbond 16MB),  I already using Azure RTOS Threadx for my project,  My PCB has SPI Connection with the flash, all the Levelx examples are with Quad SPI, any Levelx examples with SPI Full Duplex Master and  Filex. Please help on this, thanks.

I was able to get it to work without DMA but I struggle with setting up the whole DMA stuff. CubeMX-generated code gets stuck on HAL_ADCEx_Calibration_Start(&hadc1, ADC_SINGLE_ENDED) using IDE v1.17.0 and FreeRTOS. RTOS is using SystemCoreClock. HAL Tick is using TIM17 with a priority = 14 (Higher than SysTick Timer.)Made AdcTask highest priority task. Ran ADC_Disable(&hadc1) to make sure ADC was disabled. All required GPIO Port Timers have been enabled. Not using DMA. I can't see any relevant difference between my code and the examples.If I skip Calibration and then:   ADC_Enable(&hadc1);   HAL_ADC_Start(&hadc1);   HAL_ADC_PollForConversion(&hadc1, 10)The ADC enables and starts, but times out at the Poll. This could be a different issue, but it may also be an indicator of why it wont calibrate. ADC is configure to Scan 4 channels with EOS.All other GPIO, UART, I2C, Tim

Hi all,I've adapted stm32loader python script to working with STM32WL familly, https://github.com/copterust/stm32loader/blob/master/stm32loader.py .It's working I'm able to flash, read, erase flash. I can flash my firmware. But for now I'd like to reboot my STM after flashing my firmware, but I don't underqtand well if I can do it. I've find some post, but no usefull information, in the python script I have this parameter :-g address Start executing from address (0x08000000, usually)But if I try to use it, nothing happend, I have to reset manually ùy STM for reboot.

Hello everyone,I'm using the STM32f407 Discovery board.I'm trying to use TIM2 to send a frame in a cyclic way and also i'm using TIM6 to send the data of a DHT11 sensor. The problem is that when i added the TIM6 i no longer receiver the frames.Who should i adjust my code in order to work with the DHT11 sensor data and still send my frames.I tried to use the DHT11 sensor separately to make sure that the code works and it works perfectly.

Hi,I am using a Nucleo32 F411RE to control a 2.9inch flexible E-Ink raw display panel from WaveShare. I use their circuit and a copied version of their code they have on their website. The code sends SPI commands over SPI1 of the F411RE and controls Chip Select and other gpio pins at GPIO port A. (PA1, PA2, PA3, PA4, PA5, PA6, PA7). The problem is that when using SPI1 the GPIO pins dosent change state as should. I have tried the code without SPI and can see with my oscilloscope that the pins behave as they should. When enabling SPI again the pins stop working.I am using HAL for both SPI transmit and GPIO write but have also tried direkt register manipulation for GPIO write without success.A workaround is moving all GPIOs to a other port, such as port C, and then everything works without any problem. Hi,I am currently working on a build container for my project and I’m using the ARM toolchain (arm-none-eabi-gcc) from ARM Developer sources:  https://developer.arm.com/downloads/-/arm-gnu-toolchain-downloads .Do you have an authless link that provides the toolchain (arm-none-eabi-gcc) used in CubeIDE?The path I’m referring to is:$ stm32cubeide_1.15.0/plugins/com.st.stm32cube.ide.mcu.externaltools.gnu-tools-for-stm32.12.3.rel1.linux64_1.0.100.202403111256/tools/bin/I also noticed a compilation option -fcyclomatic-complexity, which I removed to use the toolchain from ARM Developer sources. I tried to use FLASH_TYPEPROGRAM_FAST in a G0B1 but is not working after a page erase. I suppose it will work with mass erase but not tried. Only works FLASH_TYPEPROGRAM_DOUBLEWORD. I've also tried to make my own function to write only 32bits modifing FLASH_Program_DoubleWord(), but again it doesn't like it and goes to HardFault_Handler() Edit: Post moved from the old thread STM32G0 and FLASH_TYPEPROGRAM_FAST fail. Starting a new thread is better to have more chance to check the question by Community members. Don't hesitate to provide more details that can help to understand the problem and what you did as tests.

Yesterday, I have flashed faulty code to my STM32, and now I can't connect to it via ST-Link or the UART bootloader. I've tried using STM32 ST-Link Utility and STM32CubeProgrammer, but neither works. How can I erase the flash memory? Do I need to buy a new chip?i

Hi, I'm trying to connect a high speed ADC to an STM32F7. I have chained two timers to generate the necessary convert and read pulses to the ADC. Its output is 16 bits that are all connected to the same gpio block. However I would also like to setup a DMA (double buffered) transfer from GPIO input register to memory that is timed from the timer. The timer that generates the samples from the ADC to the gpio input is configured as a one shot timer with an output channel, in this case TIM1_CH1. Hi Team,I'm trying to run Fatfs Multi Access example in the stm32h7s78-dk. Im having hard time understanding the Readme instructions.  I have the switch set to boot0.Im using stmcube progrmamer. I have added external loader: MX66UW1G45G_STM32H7S78-DK.stldr too then loaded the code. but it doesn't work. Am I missing something? What should I do with Template_XIP_Boot.hex file? HiI'm planning to make a digital mixer that takes 4 analog audio input channels (2x stereo), processes them with digital effects, in 24 bits, and outputs 4 analog audio channels. I’m trying to figure out which chips may be compatible for my project. I have not done any development with STM MCUs or boards before, and I have no experience with the CubeIDE.I need some clarification about the specs of the stm32 boards. I thought the stm32n655l0 might be suitable for my project. However, I’m not sure how many i2s channels it supports. On his page right here it says "6x SPI, of which four I2S-capable". On the other hand hand, in their data sheets on page 19, it looks like it only has three i2s-interfaces.

 hi, I am integrating ADS1256 ADC, which communicates on SPI with NUCLEO-H753ZI board. Firstly, I can communicate when I am writing my code in Arduino, which is simple. It is working fine and showing me the converted output. But for some reasons I have to use cubide and perform some work on ethernet after establishing communication on SPI. But through cubeIDE I am not able to establish cube ide. below is Clock configBut with same flow as in Arduino, I cannot stablish communication. Hello,I wanna read an external ADC.The ADC has following serial process conditions:1. Get a CNV signal by µC2. Convert and send BUSY=HIGH to µC3. After Convert send BUSY=LOW to µC4. µC send SCK to ADC, then ADC send data and is running as long as it gets SCK signalsThat causes, that I cannot run my SPI DMA communication in circular mode, because I have to run the CNV and BUSY process first and always de-/activate SPI (the SCK signal) after it. So I have choosen the normal mode.But the thing is I want to run the SPI communication fully at the background, also the CNV and BUSY process, that my main while function does not block the regular SPI and Convert process. This is what should be fast always. And at the main while loop I can choose, if I output the data at 100 ms rate or whatever.So I had the idea to use TIM6´s Callback function to run the CNV/BUSY/DMA-Receive-call at the background, wile the DMA-call also runs at the b

I want to use an parallel 12-bit or 14-bit ADC with STM 32 bit MCU. I am guessing the best way is to use DCIM to interface with the ADC. The sampling clock need not be very high (< 2 MHz). But i need continuous samples with no interruptions. Can someone suggest a reference design for this? Is using GPIOs better and using DCIM?

Hello! I am working on Implementing a Uncompressed YUV2 Stream through the Windows Camera Application with an STM32H5 Series Board. I am looking for an example of these values, the HAL_PCDEx_PMAConfig Values, as these are what establish the USB payload buffer to send my images through a stream2.h file found in this project (https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/x-cube-azrtos-h7/tree/main/Projects/NUCLEO-H723ZG/Applications/USBX/Ux_Device_Video/Stream) . The H5 doesn't support USB-OTG, so I have been trying to find an example of a project that is a USBX Video that uses USB FS functionality. HiI have developed a device based on the Nucleo G071RB and X-NUCLEO-DRP1M1 boards. The main difference in my design is that my MCU is in a UFQFPN28 package, which means I only have the CC1 pin and not the CC2 pin. The USB PD is configured to work in dual role mode.However, I am facing an issue where the PD negotiation does not start when I connect a USB device (an Android smartphone). Using an oscilloscope, I observed that the CC line goes to Rd when the USB PD is set as the source. The MCU then sends a message to the TCPP over I2C, and VBUS is passed to the sink. Despite this, the PD negotiation does not commence.I have not implemented a virtual COM port for monitoring USB PD, so I do not have all the traces. However, I have enabled some parts of the code for debugging. It appears that the USBPD_PE_StateMachine_DRP function does not start the negotiation, but without the code, I cannot debug it further.Here are th

I am using timer15 to generate TRGO by update event, which is used to trigger DMA to transfer data via spi.From the oscilloscope, I found a delay around 150ns between rising edge of TRGO (PWM output on PA2) and first pulse of SPI sck.I am not sure whether it is normal?

Hello everyone,We are using a custom STM32H755 controller board, and we are encountering an issue where the controller locks up whenever we switch the core clock source (for example, switching from HSI to HSE).According to the evaluation board user manual, in case of an LDO configuration mismatch, the controller can enter a lockup state, and the suggested recovery method is to pull the Boot pin high and erase the flash. However, on the evaluation board (STM32H755 Nucleo/Eval), we have never faced this lockup while switching clock sources.What could be potential reasons causing such behaviour on our board?Any guidance or suggestions would be really helpful!Thanks in advance!

Hello STM community,I have built and assembled a custom PCB board with an STM32U083CC on it. I have made 5 boards, after the first two did not work, I only populated the minimum on the other three. However, I am unable to debug or event connect to it through any means I tried, and I fear I have a systematic error in my schematic or workflow.I connect to the target over SWD, using a NUCLEO-WL55JC1 board on which I have removed both JP1 and JP7, as well as attached directly to the JP8 headers. I have independently tried using a picoprobe, which gave the same result: Seemingly no answer from the MCU, as both programs report a timeout when trying to communicate with the target.To connect I use the `st-link` utility on linux, and have attached the NUCLEO-WL55JC1 via usb.I have verified the following:- Proper MCU placement wrt to pin numbering- No shorts during soldering or after- I read through the guide for h
