Hey all,I was just reading out the new release of the X-CUBE-Audio-Kit and it says:Configurable latency mode and audio buffer sizes adjustable down to fractions of millisecondsDoes anyone know the lowest latency that can be achieved?I'm looking to possibly replace a codec that is doing my DSP - need to be able to do a a 5 to 8 band EQ, compression and volume control as well as mixing 2 stereo signals, but need it to be less than 0.5ms.Is that achievable with what the X-CUBE-Audio-Kit provides? Are there any low latency examples?

MCU: STM32U5G9VJI am sending simple single-line commands using the HAL_XPI library and the HSPI peripheral.Problem (See code at bottom of post):If I use the blocking call HAL_XSPI_Transmit, I get a timeout.if I use the DMA call HAL_XSPI_Transmit_DMA, I get a HAL_XSPI_ErrorCallback.The OSPI peripheral is working fine, it is the HSPI only that is having this issue.Clock Setup:

In my program, I am transmitting the following CAN IDs at a 20ms cycle: 1. 0x0802. 0x1003. 0x15B4. 0x2155. 0x3156. 0x4157. 0x5158. 0x40D When continuing the periodic transmission, I have observed that sometimes No 4-8 do not flow on the CAN bus and are not transmitted periodically.I confirmed that when changing No 4-8 as follows, all data is transmitted periodically on the CAN bus: 1. 0x0802. 0x1003. 0x15B4. 0x215→0x15C *changed5. 0x315→0x15D *changed6. 0x415→0x15E *changed7. 0x515→0x15F *changed8. 0x40D→0x160 *changed Could you please explain why changing the CAN IDs allows for successful transmission? I appreciate your assistance.

I'm trying to achieve a modular design via i3c. All targets and controller is stm32h503cbt6. The targets hot join the bus one by one. After receiving the dynamic address, targets can send small data to controller during IBI request. But only the first 4 of them can send data successfully. The other ones only get NACK.from the controller during IBI.I'm suing HAL_I3C_Ctrl_ConfigBusDevices() to store the dynamic addresses. Later I found it can only support up to 4 dynamic addresses. The function writes the addresses to hi3c->Instance->DEVRX, which is an array with a length of 4.Is there any way to store more of them?Any help and suggestions will be much appreciated! 

Dear STM community,I use STM32 nucleo-f303ze with stm32cubeide , I try to achieve 4 PWM complementary signal  with controlled phase shift by potentiometer by using TIM1 channel 1 PWM Generation CH1 CH1N and TIM8 channel1 channel 1 PWM Generation CH1 CH1N   , I use TIM1 channel 2 output compare no output mode, I need to change TIM1 CCR2 in real time with pot.but

I´ve bought a new ST-Link V2 from a reputable electronics Vendor (Reichelt, Germany) to connect to my Cartographer 3d scanner for a 3d Printer with an stm STM32 chip. It is connected correctly as far as I know. I cannot establish any connection. I've also tried another board that didn't get recognized, so I think my ST-Link is broken, or am I overlooking something here? They both sometimes show as SN: 31FF710631315436290343, but as soon as I try to connect they just vanish. Is the ST-Link broken, or am I missing something since this is my first time doing this?

Hi, I'm using ST for the first time, I have a NUCLEO-H753ZI, and I cant find in the user manual if it is possible to program an external MCU using the Embedded STLINK-V3E, can someone help me with this ?Thanks

With a STM32u5 controller I'm trying to reach stop1 while still receiving incoming uart data and putting the data memory with DMA. I use LPUART1 and GPDMA1 with the receiving side configured to receive a interrupt on bus idle (RTO) and the DMA is used in standard request mode. These should work in stop1 when the clocks are enabled. Without going to stop mode the code works. When I go to stop1 mode and receive data I will wake up on a overrun error meaning that (I think) that DMA is not working since it is not getting the bytes from the uart peripheral causing the overflow error to hit. My initiation code looks like this: HAL_Init(); init_clock_and_power(); MX_ICACHE_Init(); MX_GPDMA1_Init(); MX_GPIO_Init(); MX_LPUART1_UART_Init(); __HAL_RCC_LPUART1_CLKAM_ENABLE(); __HAL_RCC_LPUART1_CLK_SLEEP_ENABLE(); __HAL_RCC_GPDMA1_CLK_SLEEP_ENABLE(); __HAL_RCC_AHB1_CLK_ENABLE(); UART_WakeUpTypeDef wakeup_config; wake

 For STM32U595, I use DMA for the FMC interface, and the maximum burst size is only 8 bytes,How can I increase the burst size? 

I am using  STM32H7A3 for speed control of BLDC hub motor, I also need to take the feedback speed from the driver using stm32 timer input capture mode or external clock source, I have doubt for choosing, Please any help to figure out this.....

Hi I am utilizing an STM32U5G7 microcontroller to operate a BLDC motor with a system clock frequency of 80 MHz. I require assistance in configuring the device to enter and exit Stop2 mode to achieve the lowest power using the RTC wakeup functionality while retaining the contents of RAM. Could you provide guidance on achieving this?

I am currently designing a board that uses the STM32WL55JCI7 LoRa functionality. I am currently using the AT_SLAVE firmware provided by ST for testing. I am currently trying to Transmit a signal through the Antenna on my board but no signal has been been coming through. After some investigation I have noticed that the VR_PA voltage is stuck at 0V. I am trying to transmit in Low Power mode, and the voltage on the other pins is as follows:VDDRF = 3.3VVDDPA = 1.55 VThis software has worked on a different variation of my board so I do not believe it is a firmware issue. I am trying to figure out why this particular board is not working. 

I was a bit surprise if I read a characteristic witch is more 22 bytes long it conduct to more than one read permit events on server-side and as many read response on client slideit's surprised me because limit carac buffer length is 250 byte max in config by defaultis there a way to enlarge this ?? Hi,I have a situation which I would like to understand better:I have an STM32U595ZJT6Q with I2C2 configured to use HSI16 (not PCLK1) as its kernel clock. I put the STM32 into Standby to save power.Recently I implemented Clock Gating to save power when not in Standby.I call __HAL_RCC_I2C2_CLK_DISABLE();...to gate/pause the I2C kernel clock when I'm not using it.I call: __HAL_RCC_I2C2_CLK_ENABLE();...to un-gate/resume the I2C kernel clock when I wish to use it.This seems to work fine and I do save a significant amount of power.However! When I attempt to put the STM32 into Standby, something that previously worked fine, the MCU does NOT drop to Standby power level and the ST-Link debugger disconnects. The latter happens even when I have called:HAL_DBGMCU_EnableDBGStandbyMode();

Hi all,I am looking for advices to implement my GUI.  I have screen 1 with all the widgets. On this screen by default has:1. The texts for Hours:Minutes:Seconds and a button to switch to setting screen to set the count down timer.2. The switch mode button, to switch the timer 1 to timer 2.Timer 1 has different texts and looks vs. timer 2.The rest of the widgets on screen 1 stay exactly the same.Currently, I have a solution buy copy exactly the same screen 1 and just replace the timer texts and button only, and using switch mode button to switch back and forth the screen 2 to screen 1 and vice versa.I found this is wasting the memory resource and additional coding to handle different screens.Question:Is there a way I can use only screen 1 and change texts and button between timer1 vs. timer2?

Hello!I have a problem when trying to debug in VSCode using Cortex Debug extension. The flashing process is working, but I cannot go further than HAL_Init. The exact problem is with the HAL_InitTick function, to be more precise, after the HAL_NVIC_EnableIRQ function is called and when trying to enable the interrupt, the debugging process just stops and I get this in the debug console:warning: Exception condition detected on fd 656 Remote communication error. Target disconnected: No error. GDB session ended. exit-code: 0 GDB never responded to an interrupt request. Trying to end session anyways I tried the solutions from this thread, but those did not work. I also tried to change the HAL_InitTick function as it is for STM32

Hi,I have a clean, freshly generated project using the MC Workbench. Normally I can compile the code and flash both cores, and it works fine after I power cycle the board (with other nucleo-64 boards I don't need to reset the board). But when I tried to debug it stuck on LL_ADC_IsCalibrationOnGoing. I've switched ADC mux from PLL2P to PLL3R without success but then I tried to switch to PER_CK and it goes through ADC calibration. I found that PLL clocks are initialized by CM7 core but whole logic runs at CM4 core. I've tried multiple debug configs but might be issue there since I'm not an expert :D Default Access port 3 - Cortex-M4 doesn't work and I've need to switch to 0 - Cortex-M7. When using 3 - Cortex-M4 it catches SIGTRAPSince App runs normally, I can use ST Motor Pilot and spin motors I assume there is something wrong with my debug configurationSetup belowHW:Power Board NUCLEO-

Hi,I'm currently working with the STM32G491RET and using the NUCLEO-G491RE evaluation board. I need to check whether the device enters boot mode using the BOOT0 pin and NRST. From my understanding, to enter boot mode, BOOT0 should be driven low, and NRST should be toggled (low to high). I connected the board to my PC via USB (ST-LINK) and tried entering boot mode, but it only resets the board and restarts the existing program, printing debug logs as usual. Initially, JP3 (which connects the ST-LINK reset to the MCU reset) was shorted. The hardware team has now removed that connection. After this change, when I attempt to enter boot mode, no logs are shown. How can I confirm whether the device has successfully entered boot mode?One more clarification is needed. If i get a fresh board, just BOOT0 pin and NRST enough to enter bootmode?

I am working on touch detection with STM32L412cbt6 MCU. I am reading from two channels via G1 of TSC and it is working fine. However, when I look at the other group (i.e. G2), there are fluctuations in both channels from time to time but these values ​​are very large (like 0-1500). I could not observe any situation that could cause this noise on the board. I checked the sampling capacitors with an oscilloscope and I could not see any difference with the working group. The sampling capacitor value was used as 47nF in both groups. This design was made by considering the design guidelines given by ST in my previous PCB design. While doing this work, I also tried it with ST's TSC library but these jumps occurred again. We cannot understand what is causing the problem at the moment.

Hello,I am using the STEAVL-PTOOL4A to drive a BLDC motor using the FOC with hall sensors. The motor is running ok but I noticed that during the start of the motor, the speed does not reach its final value at the same time. I mean there is a noticed difference. Sometimes it is slow, sometimes it is fast. I increase the bootstrap Capacitor time from 10ms to 1000ms I still have some differences but lower when I had 10ms.  Here are some plots when the speed reaches its target fast And here when it is slow:

I am using STM32F767ZI board for my projects. But due to some unknown reason, the RED led is turned ON in my nucleo board. I am sharing my code along. The code is very simple and I enabled only a single GPIO to be output. Please let me know my mistake! Where am I going wrong. What is my issue.! Also i haven't enable any GPIO that concerns RED Led. Please let me know the answer!Thanks! 

Hi,I'm curently working on a STM32H745i-disco and need to implement a uboot on it. It doesn't seem to be natively supported. I would like to know if there is a port on going or at least if you have somewhere the linux/uboot device tree for this board. Found it for Zephyr but not Linux / uboot.Thanks in advance.

Hello, I’m exploring how to convert the  PROFINET Community Stack into a working implementation on STM32.Specifically, without relying on commercial stacks like RT-Labs.Has anyone successfully ported the community stack to an STM32 platform? Any insights, examples, or guidance on integrating the stack with STM32  would be very helpful.
