Steps to reproduce:1. Configure peripheral, i.g. UART or SPI to work with DMA2. Go to NVIC Settings Tab at peripheral. By default all interrupts are enabled. Interrupts generated by peripheral itself can be disabled by unchecking respective checkboxIn order to disable DMA channel interrupt one has to go to NVIC peripheral and uncheck acheckbox called "Force DMA channel interrupts". IMHO, a need to go to seemingly unrelated place to enable a desired action, is a bad user interfacedecision. But it's not a bug.After the checkbox at NVIC is unchecked one can come back to NVIC Settings Tab at peripheraland disable DMA channel interrupt(s).3. Now the project can be saved and/or code can be generated and everything would bewritten to files as expected. Close project. So far so good.4. Open project again.DMA channel interrupt(s) are re-enabled. You can save project immediately after opening

I am using CubProgrammer (version 2.4.0) to update the flash on NUCLEO-G070 board.When I select the device target i/f as ST-Link and connect, I can do flash programming.When I select the target i/f is UART, the Com Port shows up correctly about this device. However, I couldn’t connect. The error message is: Serial Port COM4 is successfully opened.17:48:09 : Port configuration: parity = even, baudrate = 115200, data-bit = 8, stop-bit = 1.0, flow-control = off17:48:10 : Timeout error occured while waiting for acknowledgement.17:48:10 : Timeout error occured while waiting for acknowledgement.Error: Activating device: KO. I'm using STM32CubeMX to develop an app for the STM32F030. Im having problems with DMA SPI transmit. Im using stm32f429zi mcu and would like to implement SPI DMA with MOSI only, I dont need MISO. SPI and DMA configuration was generated using CubeMX. Using HAL_SPI_Transmit function SPI works great. But HAL_SPI_Transmit_DMA does not send anything and gets stuck in while loop where it checks HAL_SPI_STATE_READY flag. HAL_SPI_Transmit_DMA returns HAL_OK. I am thinking that I have missed something in configuration but I havent been able to figure it out yet. I am working on httpd server project. My website codes are high memory (200MB). I converted my html/css codes to C file (fsdata.c). My C files now 200MB. I want to use SD Card for reading to C files. How can i do it? My SD Card 2GB.

Problem: I am trying to create a bootloader and a user application to do my Over the air project. So for custom bootloader I had selected sector 0 and sector 1 of flash memory. (Address starts at 0x08000000) and from sector 2 I want my user application. So I created both of them and when flashing bootloader I don't have any problem with cubeIDE. Now when I flash application on sector 2, the earlier bootloader section 0 is getting erased. How can I prevent from happening in cubeIDE. I'm using a stm32f469-disco in a project that require CAN bus connectivity, but after the CAN configuration from the file .ioc the hal_can source file is not imported, so i can't even build the project (error with HAL_CAN_Init).

Is it possible to display the data from the ITM over the SWV viewer (NUCLEO-F401RE) in STM32CubeProgrammer in HEX? ITM_SendChar could be used to send just a 32-bit code, which takes far less CPU time than a printf-style debug output?

I need to write the HEX file, but the new IDE 1.9.0 won't let me select the HEX file.How can I edit this configuration without help from the IDE?Where is this configuration stored? The old project did not have this problem.The HEX file is generated after compilation to add the CRC value, so I need the IDE to allow the HEX file as well.  

Hi,I'm trying to read data from the SPDIF-input of the STM32F466 using the CubeMX-generated code. The idea is to get one interrupt/callback for every pair of audio samples which arrive. This looks good so far, there is a function HAL_SPDIFRX_RxCpltCallback() which has o be overwritten in own code section.Now the question is: when this callback is called, how can I get the related data? Is there an other function to get these data or do I have to read some registers directly?Or more generic: is there a manual available that describes these CubeMX-generated functions?Thanks!

Goal: Create a filesystem on SD-card with the SDMMC-interface.The guide here (which should not differ for this MCU) features DMA-settings, which the L5 does not have. It seems as if a bunch of functionality is missing. Hi,I want to understand fundamentally how the STM32CubeMonitor is able to monitor my memory and the tradeoffs of using such software.Is there some documentation on the topic? I can't find anything.How does the atomicity work? Is the core stopped while the st-link is reading memory? I have just installed STM32CubeIDE and started creating a project. I left shortly and found the application was closed on my return. The icon could no longer see the executable and just now it occurred to me that my security system detected it as a threat.And in fact, it was detected as malware by BitDefender.Is anyone else experiencing this?

Hi I need some help,I am having the same problem using CubeIDE v1.0. I have copied the arm_math.h, const_structs.h and arm_common_tables.h into Drivers/CMSIS/DSP/Include.I was not able to find arm_math.h until I went to Project > Properties > C/C++ General > Paths and Symbols > Includes and added in Drivers/CMSIS/DSP/Include. When I develop with a nucleo/disco board, I have to keep a pinout of the board handy and map back and forth between CubeMX package pin names and board pin names. Since I've already selected the board in the CubeMX path, shouldn't there be a "Pinout" option to show board pin names? Or did I miss an option somewhere?Thanks!
